When her mother dies, Corrie Bell Hollister is left with four younger siblings to care for. Hoping to find her uncle, she arrives in Gold Rush territory determined to be strong and make her own way. But her long-lost father’s so-called land of promise is a dangerous place, and she has never felt so alone.
Something different I enjoyed it very much.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this book, but it was well worth reading.
Actually I had read the other books about her journey , along time ago so it was fun to read the beginning
I love this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Good
Slow reading
Liked the book,
Very good
I liked this book. Good read.
I thought the book was pretty good. It moved slow, and it really didn’t build expectations to a summit. I would probably read another of her books.
Very good book! I love the authors Read and have read most of their books!
enjoyed this book, would recommend
I just couldn’t get into this
Great story. Pioneers in the 1800’s, gold rush. Suspense and adventure.
Very entertaining story… read and enjoy!!
I enjoyed the book. I guess I had skipped over the reviews of this book about it was a series. I get bummed when I need to read other books about these characters. Enjoyed reading about this young girl’s adventures going west on a wagon train. I will probably buy the next book just to see what happens Inn the next chapter of her life.
Nice reading.
I really liked this book! The best one I’ve read in a long time! It had places where it made me smile and places where I had happy tears.
This was a delightful read, cleverly written from a young girls point of view. Excellent historical references interspersed with sound Christian doctrine. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will recommend it to others. Thank you!!!
Great read
