He came back to New York to get his ex-girlfriend back.Too bad I forced him to be my fake boyfriend after he bailed me out of jail.My name’s Beth Stirling. Yes, as in ‘those’ Stirlings. But I’m the anti-socialite. Seriously. While the rest of the population is trying to get into my parents’ inner-circle, I’ve spent my entire adult life trying to escape it.But life outside that privileged bubble? … outside that privileged bubble? Not going so well.
Cheated on by my ex? Check.
Fired by boss (aka as my ex’s mistress)? Check.
Moved from penthouse to shitty one-bedroom? Check.
Coerced into helping with Dad’s mayor campaign? Check.
But when Porter goes from fake boyfriend to fake fiancé, things go from bad to worse. As my lies intertwine us, we’re both running from the mess they’ve left in our wake, and I’m pretty sure not even my Navy SEAL fake fiancé can extract us from this mess.
And I’m not sure I want him to.

I will preface this by saying that I did not read the two books prior to this one in the series and I did not miss a thing. The author gave just enough backstory to not be sitting there scratching my head asking “huh?”
Now with that out of the way, I LOVED THIS BOOK! I do not know what I was expecting, but it was not this amazing and sexy awesomeness that is this book. Odette Stone- you have a new fan and I will be reading ALL of your books. MAJORLY loved your writing style.
Porter is officially my new book boyfriend, I think I am half in love with him. His broodiness, sexiness, loyalty, just OMG *drool*! He works in Jackson’s, Beth’s best friend Emily’s husband, military unit. He has some major issues that he is working through, but he hides it fairly well from others.
Beth is a breath of fresh air. She is a feisty, girl-next door type even though she is a rich heiress. She has tried so hard to get out from her parent’s thumb and live her own life. There is not a huge gap in her relationship with her parents, they are just not as warm and loving as others and their social norms are not exactly normal.
Both Beth and Porter are both going through a tough time when they meet and end up leaning on each other and start “fake dating” to help with their current situations…. let’s just say that spirals COMPLETELY out of control in some crazy ways.
This book is SO FREAKING SEXY without being over the top.
My gosh, I am fanning myself just thinking about the stuff that I read.
I loved everything about this book: all of the twists and turns, all of the characters, and the main story line.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
Beth recently broke things off with her boyfriend of three years because she caught him cheating on her in their bed with her b#$ch of a boss. She meets Porter and instantly can’t stand him. She thinks he is awful and a Duck Dynasty reject. Porter can tell that Beth seems a little stuck up but he definitely finds her attractive. Porter is trying to come to terms with the fact that his long term girlfriend, Felicia just up and left with everything from their apartment except his clothes while he was on deployment with his SEAL team. He’s tracked her down and since Beth wants a favor from Porter (one in which he pretends to be her boyfriend), she agrees to go with Porter to pick his stuff up from Felicia. Things get complicated and they end up pretending to be engaged. With everything from Beth’s dad running for Mayor of New York, Porter’s thieving ex who wants him back and Beth’s cheating ex who wants her back this book is full of action and brings out lots of emotions. You definitely don’t want to miss this awesome book!!!

I got sucked right into this story and read the whole thing in one sitting (oops! so much for my to do list….). Great emotional ups and downs, nice steamy scenes that still had character development and plot relevance. Two thumbs up!
Ugh, fuck this book. The first book had enough drama between Matt and Jackson. The Harper drama was just too much. I hated her, but I hated Jackson for the whole situation too.
Emily continues to be a doormat and doesn’t realize that neither of the two men are a good choice for her. She wants love but neither of them are giving that to her. She can be a single mom, come on. Have some damn respect for yourself.
Jackson knew Emily was a virgin and she obviously had no reason for any kind of birth control. He chose to have sex with her without a condom. He didn’t even pull out. And he has the audacity to ask her if she got pregnant on purpose? Fuck no.
Emily asked Jackson why he wanted to be with her. You know what he eventually responds with? “It’s the sex.” OH FUCK OFF. BASTARD.
Sure, the ending was nice and all, but the whole story pissed me the fuck off. Jackson had a bad childhood but that is no reason for Emily to continue to endure being treated like she didn’t matter, like she wasn’t loved and was there just as an obligation. Complete and utter bullshit.
Beth meets Porter and holy hotness from day 1! Beth and Porter are thrown together as the godparents of Theo and Emily’s intervening has them helping each other! What’s a fake relationship/engagement amongst friends? With stalkers, politics, 2 grumpy clinging exes and poor communication skills these two fall for each other wondering if it’s all real or are they still pretending!
Completely unpredictable
Excellent romance whose only defect is the title which could make think of a simple story, but this one is on the contrary complex, full of twists and turns, sometimes very hot and very well written in the evolution of the feelings and the characters. These are are exciting characters who have character, they are unpredictable, just like the story which yes, is based on fake fiancés, which could have been cheesy, but on the contrary, the story is supplemented by blackmail, threats, attacks from all sides.
Beth is the daughter of a wealthy man who wants to be mayor of New York. She is pressured by her parents to recover with her father’s campaign manager who cheated on her. She has already met Porter, a SEAL, best friend of her best friend’s husband. He is rude, does not speak to her, and he seems to avoid her, however when a few weeks later he comes to help him because her friends cannot come, she uses him to get rid of her mother who returns again to try to push her in the arms of her ex. Porter then becomes Beth’s boyfriend, and uses her to help him define his feelings with his ex, Felicia, who left him while he was on a mission.
Added to this is her father’s election campaign which causes Beth to receive threats, against which Porter decides to protect her.
The story is full of twists and turns until the end.

I really enjoyed this military romance, it is the third book in The Navy Seal Guilty series, it can be read as a standalone story.
This is my first book by this author andi honestly wasn’t disappointed, I will definitely read more by Odette Stone, it was fast-paced and well-written, the humor and banter between Porter and Beth had me laughing out loud. I enjoyed the storyline, was fun and easy to read, there is plenty of family drama and even some action and intrigue. The characters are intense and likable.
This is book 3 in the series and I have not read the first two but I still enjoyed this read. This story is about Beth and Porter and I enjoyed it enough to want to read the first two books. Beth gets into some trouble, and her brother sends Porter to her rescue. They have a few pitfalls, Beth’s ex for one and a fake boyfriend for another. Then add in the fact someone trying to harm Beth. Porter’s navy seal protective instincts definitely kick in. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from HiddenGems

My Fake Fiancé: (The Guilty Series Book 3)
I’ve loved Beth’s character throughout this series so it was great to get her story. Porter is one one of Jackson’s bestfriends & Seal team mates. He comes to New York to take part in Theo’s Christening. He’s Godfather & Beth is Godmother. He’s also there on leave & to try to sort his life out. When Beth gets arrested in the middle of the night he goes to aid on Emily & Jackson’s behalf. Her cheating ex boyfriend is there on her release, making demands she take him back whilst belittling her. Without thinking she grabs Porters and like a limpet & declared him her new boyfriend! Shockingly he plays along
The highs & lows, the romance & steam, the fear & danger all culminate into a wonderful read. I was in love this pair from the start!!

Awesome Story and Unforgettable Characters!
Porter and Beth’s chemistry is off the charts and their witty dialogue exchanges had me laughing and shaking my head throughout this thrill ride of a story. The heartfelt moments between Porter, his brothers, and his parents brought tears to my eyes, and there are so many emotional highs in this book that all I can say is get it, read it, you’ll love it.
Porter was not who I thought he would be going into this story I’m more of a white collar reader but holy cow did he win me over the book starts with and ends with Porter’s POV but is told entirely from Beth’s perspective which is another point of contention when I’m choosing a book I’ve become so spoiled with reading dual POVs that books without start losing their appeal to me except this one it was unbelievably fantastic and has me second guessing my reading preferences Porter is a strong, protective, smart man who exudes the true meaning of an alpha male it’s been a very long time since I’ve read a story where the author nails those characteristics to a T while keeping the heroin strong-willed, smart, self-sufficient, and humorous instead of having her become a Blushing Bride or some willowy waif of a female in the shadow of the alpha fantastic story I wish it was longer and it could have used a better epilogue than what we were given but those are just me being greedy for more and in no way puts a damper on the brilliance of this story

Poster’s ex just broke up with him and left while he was away on a mission. He just got to New York, and found out that she was there as well.
Beth is Emily’s best friend. Porter and Beth first meet due to being godparents at the Christening.
While Beth is out with one of her friends, she gets arrested. Emily called a lawyer for her, and Jackson called Porter to go pick her up. While at the station Beth runs into her ex, and to get him off her back, she stated that Porter was her boyfriend. Thus leading to eventually being the fiance.
How does Beth and Porter stop this road to the alter? This book keeps you wanting to find out what happens next
The first time I read an Odette Stone book, I was blown away, I couldnt wait for the next book to come out,,,, I do hate cliffhangers,, but this one was well worth the wait of getting the 2nd half of that story between Emily, Matt and Jackson,,,,,,,,,
And now we have the continuation of the series,,,, also basically a stand alone unlike the first 2 in the “Guilty Series” but today it’s Beth and Porter’s story. Beth was a friend of the first 2 stories star Emily and Porter was a Navy Seal team member with another individual Jackson, also from the first 2 books,,,, again,,, this is a stand alone,,,, but the characters are involved in this part also, to one extent or another,,,,, all around another great adventure with Odette Stone ,,,

Full of intrigue. Beth and Porter pretend to be in a relationship that is initially to overcome issues with their exes. It all spirals out of control once Beth becomes a target in her fathers mayoral campaign. Soon they are fake engaged and heading for the wedding of the century. Porter is the Alpha protector SEAL and Beth sure doesn’t mind.
First of all, I must say that Odette Stone is an amazing writer who deserves all the 5 star reviews she has received. She is a talented artist who really knows how to create stories that completely engross and engulf.
I honestly believe this is the best book in this beautifully written series. The story of Beth and Porter is one that will not easily be forgotten. The chemistry between them is electric. They both have past unresolved issues that, if they let them, will threaten their future happiness.
Although this book is the third in the series, it could be read on its own. But I highly recommend giving this series a try, you will not be sorry you did.

I really like Odette Stone books and this one delivers on the promise of a great story. Porter and Beth are relatable characters, whose chemistry blazes off of the pages. the fun banter between the two will have you laughing out loud. Odette does a wonderful job of world building, developing the characters and moving the plot line along. When I read her books I feel like I should be able to go wherever the book is set and meet the people from the pages. It always feels so real. Wonderful writing yet again. This book is worthy to be added to your reading list.

This book was sooo amazing! I loved the story and characters and everything it had to offer! I could not put the book down. It was so painful to have to even attempt to set it aside to do any type of mundane thing. I am so glad I chose to read this. So worth the read!
Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Beth and Porter are godparents of their best friends baby, Theo. They do not really hit is off on that day, but they make the best of it. When fate throws them back together, they each need a favor of the other. SO they decide to be friends and Beth allows Porter to sleep in her apartment. The things that happen to these two will keep you smiling but when Porter puts on the Alpha Male hat, it gets hot……. You will enjoy this book and will keep turning the pages to see what crazy thing will happen next to this couple.
