Fake Fiancé Rules of Engagement:
1. Don’t fall in love with the client 2. When in doubt, refer to Rule #1
What does aspiring actress Ivy Bloom do when she’s down on her luck? Well, she accepts a job offer with MyFakeFiancé.com, of course.
Now all she has to do is follow the rules of engagement; even if the client is the mega-hot, mega-arrogant, mega-billionaire, Chase Hunter, who’s hired … rules of engagement; even if the client is the mega-hot, mega-arrogant, mega-billionaire, Chase Hunter, who’s hired her to fake out his entire family during a holiday break in New York.
Thanks to the extensive training she received while at the Actor’s Academy, pretending she’s a bride-to-be can’t be that difficult.
Unless, however, she falls head over heels for her Fake Billionaire Fiancé…

Casting call for fake fiancée.
Chase Hunter is a busy COO who has only dated ditzy or vapid girls. He lies to his parents that he’s newly engaged and is bringing home a sophisticated woman of substance. Hence he uses MyFakeFiance.com (fiancé is the masculine, btw, fiancée is the feminine).
Ivy Bloom is a struggling actress with an eviction price on her door and BB her dog in her purse. Think Legally Blonde.
Will they go from fake to real?

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was something that I will read again. The love they both had was great. How they were able to over come problems

This is the 1st book I’ve read written by Joslyn Westbrook; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

I absolutely loved this book by Joslyn Westbrook. I had so much reading about Ivy and Chase. And we cannot forgot Ms. BB. She was the star. Ivy needs money and to sharpen her acting skills so what better way than to sign up to play a fake fiancé? Chase is looking to take over the company when his dad retires but only if he settles down. So he hires a fake fiancé to spend Christmas with him and his family in New York, If you are looking for a fun, flirty romance that will leave a smile on your face, this is definitely the book for you!
What a sweet read! This is one of those stories that is so sweet, you can get cavities.
Ivy, a struggling actress, signs up with My Fake Fiance dot com. As a way to make money and hone her acting skills at the same time.
Chase is running the family’s west coast business. He was burned and heartbroken with his last relationship, so he went through his playboy days and how just has his nose to the grindstone and wants nothing to do with a relationship. Over Thanksgiving, his father told him that he wants to retire but he can’t name Chase as President without him being settled. So he blurted out that he was engaged and he would bring her home for Christmas to meet the family. So he had to sign up for My Fake Fiance dot com to get a fake fiance. The only problem is that he keeps changing his appointment to meet his fake fiance. When he is finally forced to make the meeting, he is accosted outside the building by a teacup Chihuahua.
It is all fun. Chase becomes less stuffy and starts to like this spitfire woman. They both have to remember the ‘Rules of Engagement’. Rule #1. Don’t fall in love with your fake fiance. Rule #2. Remember Rule #1.

I’d forgotten how much I loved this story the first time I read it. The fake relationship is definitely one of my favorite themes. You know right from the beginning that nothing is going to work out at all how the couple initially plans it, and that’s where all the fun lies. This book was rom-com gold. A quirky, feisty heroine, a slightly stodgy hero, and a fur baby with more personality than should fit in her little doggy body. Both Ivy and Chase are looking for a no-strings business arrangement. He needs a fiancé to keep from disappointing his parents, and she needs a job that will pay her rent. Neither one is prepared to risk their hearts. (Even though all us readers know that’s exactly what they’re about to do.) The story is beyond sweet and had me in giggles for most of the book. I can’t wait to read more.
Too cute
Although I loved the beginning, with a rather complicated first meeting between the two main characters, I was disappointed later, too predictable, without twist, with a cute side so pronounced that it became a little cheesy at final. Too bad because I really liked the summary and the first chapters.
Ivy, actress is engaged to play the role of fiancée. What she does not know is that it’s a real role, to be the fake fiance of a billionaire. Their first encounter is explosive because Ivy’s dog attacks Chase, the future fiancé. He likes brunettes, and she is blonde. He wants someone sophisticated, graceful and she appears like a “Elle Wood” of “Legally Blonde”. As for him, he appears to Ivy’s eyes as an arrogant man, who does not like animals and who is rough.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This is a really cute fake romance with Chase and Evelyn agreeing to their fake relationship and all the things that develope along the way. The characters were so funny and the things that happen just makes this story hard to put down.

It start great, the characters are good and there is some funny part who bright up the story. Unfortunately it’s just cut short. Few more chapters will have make the relationship grown in a more smooth way and make it more realistic

The story of Chase and Ivy was so much fun to read. They were great characters and their chemistry was over the top. A gorgeous billionaire and an aspiring actress in need of money. He’s gorgeous and she’s gorgeous but their relationship is fake for a weekend and there are rules to follow. Rule #1 Don’t fall in love with the client and Rule #2 – revert back to rule #1. The dog is the star of the show. A cute novella that was very entertaining. I read an arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review.
Chase and Ivys story was romantic and i smiled from cover to cover. Her dog BB also played a major role in the story, i enjoyed the characters and her family too. Wish the story was longer and we get to see more about Chase and Ivy, everything happened so fast. A good read.

You’ll Smile From Cover to Cover
My Fake Billionaire Fiancé , by author Joslyn Westbrook was my first introduction to her books. And what an introduction it was. While a lot of publishers put “Romcom” on the covers sadly many stories turn out not to be. This is a true Romcom by by any authoritative definition.
The true strength in this two act play is how Ivy/Evelyn, Chase, and BB play off each other. Their comedic timing is perfect and sure to garner smiles or laughs. While I sometimes find texting distracting, in this storyline, they are just as funny.
Bottom line…love this story and have gone and dumped the author’s other three books available in KU. I plan on laughing for several days.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment, pleasure, and funny bone.
I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace.
SO MUCH FUN!
Oh wow, when I read the blurb I couldn’t have been more excited. My thoughts: ‘this is going to be so much fun!’ And yes, that’s exactly what this was!
Chase needs a (fake) fiancée, a knockout beauty with a brain and social skills.
Ivy needs money. Enter MyFakeFiance.com and you have a recipe for a grrrrrreat book!
I looooooooooooved it, love love lovelovelovelovelove! BB, Ivy’s purse-sized dog, plays a significant role. She’s cute, but make no mistake: she can be ferocious! This novella was a-freaking-mazing. I couldn’t put it down. I loved that spark between Ivy/Evelyn and Chase. The end, although a bit fast, was hilarious and very happy. And I’ll never be able to think of the word ‘HAM’ in the same way! Curious as to what that means? Then you know what to do!
Super sweet read. Ivy is a struggling actress that lands a job as a the fake fiancé of billionaire Chase Hunter, through MyFakeFiance.com. These two are set to meet when her Chihuahua is suddenly hanging off his pant leg in front of the building. It really was hilarious and helps them break the ice. This was just a sweet and cute story with plenty of funny scenes.
Safe read, no om or ow drama. A billionaire, his Elle Woods look alike with her Chihuahua BB. Great Christmas ending, hfn. I would have really liked an epilogue on these two, because they really were relationship goals.
