I’M LIZETTE CLARY, also known as legendary Internet meme Epic Fail Girl. And for the last three months, I’ve been Jason Moon’s pet project. Yes, that Jason Moon. The one with the Pulitzer. He’s spending six months training me to become a worthy New Media Editor at RMG, and I’ve never been so happy being told everything I do is wrong.Truthfully, I’m more than a little bit into Jason, and the … Jason, and the feeling is mutual. Our arrangement’s more personal than professional. But he won’t work with me if I don’t follow his rules: No kissing, no sex, and no falling in love. No big deal! My career is rising fast, dudes hurl themselves at my feet, and there’s no reason for me to be hung up on the one man I can’t have. Even if I’ve destroyed three Hitachis and a dozen Kleenex boxes over him. Wait, where’d I put my copy of The Notebook? I need a drink.
I’M JASON MOON, and I’m in deep trouble. I set out to change Lizette Clary. Instead, I’m confronting the cost of prioritizing work over romance in my empty bed every night. For the first time, the price seems too much, my walls too high, my life too lonely. Every day, it feels less crazy to imagine Lizette in my life for the long term.
She’s made it clear she doesn’t want forever, and I won’t settle for anything less. She doesn’t deserve another powerful man obsessing over her. There’s not a thought in her head I didn’t put there, and I won’t take advantage of the power I have as her dominant. I’ve set our rules for a reason: No kissing, no sex, no falling in love. I’ve only got to make it through my last three months at RMG. And then, somehow, I have to walk away without Lizette Clary.
MY FAIR MILLENNIAL 2 is still a romantic comedy slowly building to an HEA over several books. This modern-day Pygmalion is riddled with offensive age-related humor, super-obscure pop culture jokes, and steamy hot eye-sex at inappropriate times.

It really looked like Lizette was getting herself together when we left her and Jason in book one, but the old saying a leopard doesn’t change its spots comes to mind with her. I know, I know she is trying but good golly that girl really doesn’t have much luck and lord only knows how Jason sticks with her … oh wait thats right he can’t let her go bless his cotton socks. There is plenty of hilarity and and of course some cringe worthy moments as we see Jason and Lizette go through a new phase in their relationships which gives some new insight into Lizette as well as Jason seeing her a bit differently.
This story picks up where book 1 left off. May include SPOILERS.
Jason & Lizette are still working together, but he is giving her a new listing of things to do. 1. Have 1 boyfriend. 2. No excessive touching (between the two of them, that is). There’s more, but these are the two that she is having trouble with. She wants Jason, but he keeps pushing her away. She puts together a photo shoot to duplicate one of his, but the male model hired to play the husband gets hit by a car and ends up in the hospital seriously injured. Jason steps up, but he can’t get in to the part & everyone is miserable. During lunch she gets Jason to practice, and it’s great. They don’t know that they’ve been secretly photographed until later when she gets a call from the photographer they hired. The pictures are wonderful showing the chemistry these two have.
She gets invited to a baseball game by one of the guys she’s been seeing, only to get there & the other man she’s been seeing is there too. She dumps both guys at the game only to realize too late that she has dumped them on the kiss cam. Epic Fail Girl has a new epic fail & this one’s called “The Big Dump.”
I’m still loving Jason & Lizette. The chemistry is sizzling & once again, it ends on a cliffhanger. So looking forward to book 3.
This is the second book in Lizette and Jason’s story.
LIzette Clary, is of course still a mess, I mean she is Epic Fail Girl after all. She is doing better and trying to be more “mature”. Her and Jason’s relationship is so simple and fun when it’s just the two of them, they are happy and laughing and having fun enjoying life together, as friends.
Jason Moon, is still his domineering in his own sexy way, he is still trying to whip Lizette into shape, figuratively speaking- not physically, much to her dismay. She is still pushing back just to watch him squirm, because well come on it’s fun to watch!
Lizette and Jason both are so dense sometimes but yet so perfect, I just can’t stand it. I love them both so much! The chemistry is undeniable and the sparks are electric, yet they can’t seem to get themselves to the point where they can be together. They are skirting around the issues at hand.
There is an “Aha!” moment, but you know, life… *shrugs*
Elle has a way with words that makes you really think about things while also making you roll on the floor laughing. I love Lizette and all her crazy, silly quirks. She is just hilarious, and I truly enjoy the authenticy of Jason. He’s completely swoon-worthy. And boy do I ever swoon over him. Whew! I absolutely adore the way he takes care of Lizette and the way he wants the best for her, even if it means he doesn’t get what he really wants.
I love the growth that happens in this book, the added depth to the characters and the realizations I came upon during this book. There was a definite eureka moment for me and it all clicked and made total sense..
This book is well worth the read. You must read book one first, but trust me it is worth it also.
Brilliant continuation of Lizette and Jasons ongoing connection. As with the first book its hilarious but often hiding a deeper pain. I love these 2 characters – they are polar oposited but they fit – if only the world and life will let them get their acts together.
Superb!
