WOW Lindsey… this was just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! It flowed well, and it was hard to put down (just ask my husband and kids… “Are you STILL reading that?” Uuuhhh….. YEAH!) There is so much I want to share about this, because I really did LOVE it so much. But I also don’t want to spoil it TOO much for anyone wanting to read it – which I implore everyone to do!
This story had me on the edge of my seat for some time there… While I was really hoping for a HEA, I just didn’t know whether that was going to eventuate or not.
Rhett (great name) is a (HOT) self-made billionaire who has worked really hard to get where he is. He is engaged to be married to Sarah, who is basically using him for his money and any societal benefits that come with that – and her parents support and actually encourage this (rubbish people as far as I’m concerned!).
Rhett overhears Sarah talking about him just before their wedding ceremony. He (cleverly) decides that he just can’t go through with it. He feels sick about it, quite understandably. Enter Bella, the black sheep sister of Sarah’s – and perhaps Rhett’s saviour on the day. They leave the church, get drunk, etc, to escape what would have been a terrible mistake for Rhett…. Or did he?
Their journey is full of ups and downs, and not all in bed 😉 Can they get over the obstacles they face, the way they feel, the way their families may react? Will Rhett and Bella end up with a HEA together? Readers will have to find out for themselves…
There are MANY things I loved about this book. Some of the writing was really descriptive, and gave me a really good vision of what was happening. For instance, I will NEVER think of vanilla as just vanilla again…. “Not just vanilla, it was rocky road with bananas, chocolate chips, sprinkles, and butterscotch topping.” Now, that sounds SWEET!
I cannot WAIT to see what Lindsey has up her sleeve next!

Absolutely Loved This Book! Definity a 7 STAR rating from me! I don’t even know where to begin writing about how much I enjoyed this book. It exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds.
The storyline, while solid has everything included that an avid reader could ever ask for. Starting off with angst, tears, barfing in the basement of a church, drunken sex, then on to anger, pain, steam, laughter, humor, joy, and finding love when maybe it was never there in the first place. Oh yeah, let’s not forget the tattoo. Like I said, it has everything.
So, I’ll close with: Absolutely Loved this Book!
I’ve read many of Lindsey Hart’s books and always look forward to what she’ll come up with next. This one had me chuckling from the beginning and the humor helped move what could’ve been a really depressing story forward in the most delightful way. Rhett and Bella are so much more than how they come off as at the beginning of the story and the fun is in learning just how much more there is to both of them than what you first “see”. Along with the humor is plenty of heat leading to the all important HEA. A fun sexy read with unexpectedly complicated characters you come to love. Highly recommend 🙂

I really enjoyed this book and I loved the balance between fun and emotional that filled its pages. The story is pretty intense and it was easy to get pulled into it. I liked Rhett and Bella and man oh man, did the sparks fly between these two. This read offers a delightful combination of drama, tension, humor, heat and heart that delivers a very satisfying romance.
Rhett was to be getting married but he over heard his finance with her bridesmaid stating she was only marrying him for his money and his **** was too small and having a boyfriend also. Wow who does stuff like that. Rhett was saved by the black sheep sister Bella and she literally pushed him in the back seat of a very small neon green car. From there it all starts a very windy topsy turvy road of Rhett trying to get Bella to go along with it in a relationship. One day out of the blues he receives a voice mail and that’s he all needed to get back Bella. From there the happiness the had, had no boundaries. Sit back and relax enjoy the HEA.

I loved this book from page 1 until the end and of course the authors word building and character interaction it was a wonderful read and would read another book from this author
This was totally unexpected book than what I thought I would be reading, it’s a book of opposites. Both the H/h are complete opposites and Lindsey Hart does it perfect. The story is filled with drama, humor and hot sex! I highly recommend!

This story is fantastic! Full of great characters and sass, it was an absolute joy to read! Rhett is about to marry Sarah after seven years of dating. When he goes to the church basement to give her a necklace he bought for her he overhears her say she is only marrying him for his money and that she is sleeping with someone else. This sends him off into the basement of the church where he finds himself getting sick. Enter Bella. She’s Sarah’s little sister and the black sheep of the family. She offers him comfort as she too heard what her sister said about him and she offers him a getaway ride. He takes her up on her offer and the two end up in her hotel room drinking whiskey and ending up in each other’s arms. She’s convinced it can’t happen again, especially after he says some things he shouldn’t and really doesn’t mean. She heads home to Detroit and he tracks her down at the tattoo shop where she works. The two start seeing each other but she continues to pull away. They come back together and soon are seeing each other every weekend. The weekend she is planning to go to him, she finds out just how rich he is, thinks about what people will say about her and pushes him away for good. He lets her go and it breaks his heart. He is absolutely miserable until he gets a voicemail from Rick, the guy that did his tattoo. Rick tells him how miserable Bella is, how she was scared and if he wants her than he should come and fight for her. And he does. He shows up at the shop, pours his heart out and she agrees to take the risk with him. A year later, all is well and the two are planning to get married.

First time reader. Was not disappointed at all. Rhett was due to get married when he over heard his future was as the most hurtful things. She was cheating on him. He found a place in the church to pretty much hide & get sick all at the same time Bella the sister to the bride followed him. She felt bad for him knowing how her sister &; her family actually was. She herself never fit in. She took Rhett away from the church. From that moment on, he realized that what he really wanted was a girl like Bella. She was free spirited, did things her way, he liked that about her. It took her longer to realize he was the one for her but in the end, they ended up together & happy because they both found what they were looking for. Neither one cared that he was in love with his ex’ sister or a she was marrying her sisters ex. Because her sisters loss was her gain & her future husband.

What a great story. You have two people with things to work through and heal who aren’t supposed to be together. But end up that way because of a hilarious situation. But all is not easy on the road to love, even without all the other stuff added on. Not to mention who she is. What happens? I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Their meeting was unconventional as was their time together. Bella was the “black sheep” of her family and any relationship with Rhett was incendiary. Bella and Rhett both had a lot of soul searching if they decided to try for a HEA. Good read!

This was such a steamy read! Instant attraction between the characters. The description of the characters is so good that it is easy to visualize them. I was a quick good read or I just couldn’t put it down until I was finished. I totally recommend this book if you like steamy hot reads!

This book was absolutely fantastic! From the first page until the last I was completely engrossed in this story. I loved Rhett and Bella together and the dynamic that they had was amazing. Their connection and chemistry was off the charts! This story is filled with drama, humor, and it’s a wonderful romance story that I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend to anyone.

Bella is the quinticential black sheep of her family so when she encounters Rhett in the church basement, after he overhears that her sister has been cheating on him, she offers him solace. Little does she know that her shoulder to cry on will lead to more than either bargained for.
The characters were good. The story line was good but unbelievably wordy and over explanatory and redundant.

This was an enjoyable read and I thought it was an heart felt romance. I truly enjoyed reading about these two characters Bella and Rhett. It was easy to read. The story ran smoothly and it was well written. It has a good storyline. It kept my interest throughout the story.

Ms Hart has done it again, this was such a fun read. What a heartbreaking beginning to this storyline, but like the independent sister Bella to come help save Rhett from a lifetime of misery and regret. I like the way the characters were written with such a like ability that you can’t help but, laugh and cheer with them when they have a break through and a realization that they do deserve to be happy and loved. Wonderful ending to an adventurous ride for Bella and Rhett.

Set aside most of a day for the gentle humor of this adult romantic comedy about a software developer in Phoenix and a tattoo parlor receptionist in Detroit.

I absolutely loved this book. Rhett is such a great guy and bless his heart for being so naive. Unfortunately having a lot of money is a two edge sword. One people only want you for it and two they don’t want anything to do with you because you have it. Bella the black sheep of her family definitely has been hurt. And I would say most of it from her family cuz if they would’ve accepted her the rest could have been a little different. But some guys are just a**es and treat women like crap. Being scared is a normal feeling when you want someone for more than sex. Sometimes you really have to fight for what you want and forget what other people are gonna say. It’s about making you happy not everyone else. Live for your happiness.

Where to start??? This book was A LOT. The art in the book is phenomenal!! Rhett and Bella were soooo intense in everything they did. They loved hard. They fought hard. They denied their feelings even harder. But being miserable without each other was enough to shake things up for them. She had people in her camp that cared enough for her…lots of big, burly tree trunk kinda people. Rhett better not step outta line lol.
