Arlo and Pheobe’s story starts out a little slow but eventually picks up. He was there for her when she needed someone when her life for turned upside down. 3 years later they reconnect and the fire is lit.
I really loved this story. If I had to pick one thing that made it a story I loved, I doubt that I could, but overall, I loved it. The characters were well developed and I loved their interactions. Arlo and Phoebe were awesome together.
Phoebe used to call Arlo Daddy as a joke. He was her ex-boyfriend’s father and the only one that believed in her when everyone else turned away from her. They were both surprised to run into each other three years later. They decided to catch up on things with each other and then things took off on a path neither of them expected.
I really loved how this story played out. Phoebe’s friends were supportive and awesome (well, the ones she had in the city and her bestie!). Arlo was so secure in himself and in their relationship. Loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book. You will love it!

Oh Daddy!!!
My Ex-Boyfriend’s Daddy Kelli Callahan is an interesting story about Phoebe and her ex-boyfriend’s father Arlo in this older man/younger woman romance. Phoebe had been dating Jake during high school but he judged her over something and then dumped her. She was humiliated in school and instead of staying she fled town. It is now three years later and Phoebe crosses paths with Arlo again. He had always liked her, not in the sleazy way but in a respectful way. So they start to see each other as friends and spend time together. But one night things change between them and Arlo becomes Phoebe’s “Daddy”. They have a real connection that transcends the age and social status differences. The real issue will be if their secret is found out………….which you just know it will be.
This story was an overall enjoyable story. There were times where it moved slow, I think it could have used a good editor and dropped a hundred pages or so, and was OTT but it was all in good fun and you just need to let the author take you where she wanted this couple to do.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
An enjoyable and exciting older man younger woman romance. It is a slow delicious burn, engaging, well written, well developed, and emotionally deep guaranteed to pull you in from the first page. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts. Definitely recommended!

So this was a free ARC copy from one of my favorite authors, plus booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this read and I sooo enjoyed it to the last page.Once I started reading I just couldn’t stop til I finished it because I had to see how it ended. It had a great storyline and great characters to read about to, plus it was sizzling hot! And I so look forward to seeing more from this author in the future because I really like reading her work !
Phoebe was just a normal 18 yr old young lady.Till one-night at a sleep over changes everything for her.At the sleepover the girl of the house asked a mean girl over thinking, she was Phoebe’s friend. She got everyone to play a random drinking game, telling them that it was all private and nobody would know about it.But the next day at school after her and her friend walk in everyone is looking at her and making rued things about her. They both walk back outside and her friend shows her , her Facebook and what the mean girl did.Her boyfriend brakes up with her and calls her a freak because of a random game played when drinking. She drops out of school before she can graduate. She flees the town she grew up in/ leaving her mom behind.
Three yrs later and her ex-boss/her ex-boyfriends dad shows up at the dinner she works at, for luch. They end up going to dinner to see how each other have been doing . He’s in new york working on a big case and when he needs help he asks her to come work for him for , its a one yr contact. And long the way they both have feeling for each other and decide that they really want each other. So if you want to read more then go get the full story, its so worth it.ENJOY

An excellent book I feel in love with right from the beginning. A bit taboo, but that is what make it so steamy, and sexy. These two were perfect for one another and nothing could stop them from the loved they share!

This is more than just an older man/younger woman romance it also has the wicked twist of him being her ex’s father. Phoebe and Arlo’s love story is a slow burn and I like the way they took their time getting together. This book has it all heartbreak, drama, angst, twists, passion and a great ending.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to react to this one. If it was like a lot of others. Most of these stories are all sex, a small back story and little depth. I was really surprised that this one was so different than that. A female on the cusp of woman hood makes one stupid mistake in the grip of alcohol that ruins her life in many ways. And then after so much hurt changes her life completely. Her boyfriend judges her harshly without getting all the facts. She meets up with his father whom she knows from when she dated his son. They end up in a deeper relationship than either thought. Loving, growing, exploring and finding things out about each other and more. She developed a maturity that helped her grow into a level headed person able to see that even though he is her ex’s father and older they could have something beautiful. I could go on and on about this one. I highly recommend it.
This was a great read with characters that are well developed and engaging and have chemistry. The storyline is well written and flows smoothly.

This is book nine in the Once Upon a Daddy series. Phoebe fills out an online quiz with total honesty and the results get scattered around her high school. It is horrible, she leaves town and never looks back. Three years go by and she is working hard to create a new life and future for herself, her past comes crashing in. Her ex boyfriend’s father, Arlo which also happens to be her ex boss crosses her path. Friendship and attraction leads to love but how do they make their relationship public. How do they tell Jake, her ex and his son about them. A hot, steamy story and enjoyable read.

Will dreams of the future be fulfilled or will they break like those in the past?
by sewsummore
This was a romance between a young woman and an older man. She was once his son’s girlfriend but that was in the past. Now she was his employee and a friend in the lonely big city. The age gap never worried them, they had always had a good relationship in the past, but working close together day after day there was an attraction between them that kept growing until it exploded into a weekend of erotic lovemaking between them. When his work came to a close it was time to return to their hometown and he wanted her to come with him. The past weeks between them and convinced them that what they felt for each other was love but would it be enough. This story hooked me from the beginning, Phoebe had such dreams of the future before she left home, would those dreams be fulfilled or will they break like her dreams in the past. Read the book to find out the exciting and dramatic conclusion to their story.

I think this was a cute story of a young woman falling for her ex-boyfriend’s father, but I felt the story lacked that little extra. It seemed like little tidbits were thrown in, but nothing ever came of them, so I felt slightly let down. Kelli Callahan writes really good daddy stories, this was no exception, and I look forward to reading more.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

This is a really well detailed story.
The characters and their environment are brought to life.
I recommend to anyone who likes “Daddy”books.
I wasn’t sure how this was going to work…a young girl ending up with her ex-boyfriend’s dad?? Well, I was pleasantly surprised because this is not as awkward as I would have thought. There’s enough time and healing for Phoebe to be over her past relationship with Jake before she forges a friendship and so much more with his dad, Arlo. I found their story to be romantic and sexy. And, I found them to be respectful to each other and to Jake that it made me like them even more. Phoebe and Arlo are so good together and their chemistry is intense. This is a really good ‘forbidden’ romance that doesn’t disappoint.

**Spoiler Alert**. This book made me wonder how relationship starts. The father and son is so different, how could they have a relationship with the very same girl? Of course it is easy to see that the son and the girl should have never been in a relationship, which makes me wonder again, how did their relationship start?
