It’s not easy being the Donut Princess.Parties around the world.Unlimited budget.Living in a luxury hotel.Full-time security.Which was how I found myself being guarded by a Navy SEAL I hated. Aaron was bossy, as unrelenting an asshole as he was stupidly attractive. Nope. Not going there. Socialites don’t fall for the help…. But those socialites haven’t seen a shirtless Aaron Walker. My name is … seen a shirtless Aaron Walker.
My name is Femi Payne, and I want my bodyguard. No one says no to the Donut Princess.
Until him.

The Donut Princess is a lovely addition to The Guilty series.
Femi, the ‘Donut Priness’, is fighting the bodyguard Aaron, a Navy SEAL on leave, that her father hired to protect her against kidnapping threats. As the story progresses the reader learns the reason behind Aaron’s leave, that Femi may be a brat but she can learn to be a regular human and that love hurts but is well worth the pain. The Donut Princess is a lovely addition to The Guilty series and I look forward to the rest of Femi and Aaron’s story. Fair warning this book does have a cliffhanger.
Femi has a life most people dream of: unlimited freedom, unlimited spending money. The big problem is, she doesn’t have what she wants most: people in her life who truly care about her. Aaron is an active SEAL on leave doing a favor for a friend. A favor that could spectacularly backfire on him. The author had fun with the question “what’s the worst that could happen?” because Murphy’s Law was working overtime against this pair. The connection between Aaron and Femi is so strong it radiates from the pages. And their anguish at trying to hold everything together while the world is tearing them apart nearly brought me to tears several times. This book does have a bit of a cliff-hanger ending, but at least it’s happy-for-now, so that means I can wait sort of patiently until we get the rest of Aaron and Femi’s story.

Even though I already Owned Odette Stone’s “My Donut Princess: A novella (The Guilty Series Book 4),” I’m reviewing it as an ARC via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
Oh. My. Goodness! This was such an amazing book! Ms. Stone has a true gift for telling a story. If you like a gripping story filled with laughter, love, intrigue, action and adventure then you will love this one. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Absolutely 10 stars. Great read!!! It is warm, heartbreaking, funny and steamy all at the same time. An enthralling on the edge of your seat read that is beautifully written with a well-developed consistent plot. There are ups and downs, witty banter and a surprising twist that still has me reeling. The characters are loveable and perfect; the sexual tension between them is so thick and potent you can cut it with a knife. Sacrifices are made and I look forward to the next book out what theses sacrifices are costing the characters. This is a must read! I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Aaron and Femi. Aaron is a Navy SEAL who happens to be on a leave right now and has offered to help his buddy for the next 6 weeks being a bodyguard for the princess of donuts. He’s not sure what he’s getting into from everyone says she’s hard to deal with and a spoiled brat no one warned him that she was gorgeous. Femi is a young woman who has everything handed to her no one ever says no to her.She currently has several bodyguards due to the fact that she has had several kidnapping threats. I’m a dad doesn’t want to take any chances so he hires the best. Femi has managed to carceral to run away but she meets her match when she meets Aaron. There is a Sizzle between the two of them but neither one are willing to admit to it. She is totally freaked out when she has a death threat left for her on a voicemail and relies on Aaron to calm her down. After a crazy night he kisses her and things are a little sporadic after that. She wants another one but he knows that she would never be able to deal with his life as a Seal or the plain and simple. Femi tries to make him jealous which work and he throws her off-balance even more. follow the two as they learn how to deal with each other and a personal setting as well as in public, see what happens when more threats come in to femi safety, what happens when her dad refuses to listen to what she wants and how their lives are turned upside down in a Flash. I definitely recommend reading the story it’s very well written, I also like how it mentions the characters of My Fiance’s Brother and My Fake Fiance. Can’t wait for the next book.

Wow! Another outstanding book by Ms. Stone. A quick and intense, steamy read! I cannot wait for more!
A Bodyguard & Socialite Hate To Lust & Maybe More?!
My Donut Princess (The Guilty Series #3.5)
Aaron is on leave from the Navy Seals when he agrees to be a bodyguard for a month. The money will pay off his boat so even though he’s dreading it be knows it makes sense! Clark, his buddy & owner of the Security Firm, warns him that the socialite he’s guarding is a nightmare. She tries to lose her guards, boss them around etc but his job is her safety & security so not to fall for her antics!!
Femi is spoiled, beyond rich but she’s bored & also very lonely!! No-one really knows that about her, she just has more money thrown at her by her Father as if that can fix everything! She’s had a few kidnap threats made against her in the past but she doesn’t really take them seriously. Aaron, her new Bodyguard refuses to cower to her whims like all of the others have, it drives her mad! He’s absolutely gorgeous though & she starts to feel ashamed of how she’s been behaving towards him, He is clearly excellent at what he does. Then one night she receives a call which absolutely petrifies her!!
I thoroughly recommend this book. The build up of this couple’s relationship is fab! It’s full of fear & tension as Femi’s life is peril!!
Part two is available free via the Author’s newsletter

My Donut Princess: Part 2 (The Guilty Series)
Can Love Conquer All Including A Bunny Boiler??
(Free via the Author’s newsletter)
Femi & Aaron decide to give their relationship a try. Aaron is in a constant state of waiting for ordinary life to be too much for her & her to leave him broken hearted. He can’t stop himself loving her though!
Femi is a complete fish out of water. She doesn’t even have driving licence let alone know how to drive! She doesn’t want to let Aaron down or embarrass him though, so does her best to tackle every obstacle in her path, even learning to ride a bike!! She earns the respect of some key people in Aarons life, he has no idea how, what the story’s are but he’s really pleased. One of his team coordinators is not a fan though & causes trouble where ever possible!!
I thought Aaron let Femi down with his lack of belief in her, although it was understandable considering what she was like when they met! She really showed her insecurities about her abilities to keep his interest with his ill prepared she was! I really enjoyed seeing Femi grow in this book. Standing up to her Dad & walking away from her millions for a chance at love was so courageous!

A great read! Femi is a spoiled rich girl spending way too much time partying and her father’s money shopping. Aaron is a Navy Seal on leave, and doing a favor for a buddy, takes on the job as bodyguard to Femi. Aaron and Femi have a strong connection and I loved their story. This story is well written, with relatable and likeable characters, and overall a terrific read!
Short, Sweet, Steamy, and Satisfying!
There’s enough action, romance, and sizzling sex to make this novella more like devouring a meal than a morsel. I became completely vested in Femi and Aaron’s obstacle filled journey toward friendship and love, which paid off in a most emotionally satisfying way!
I found it difficult to connect with Femi. She is a spoilt brat who treats people like commodities. The whole u-turn in her personality was quite drastic and not really believable.
Much preferred the other books in this series.
An entertaining story of a nice length that has a pampered princess and a reluctant bodyguard in it. The author has included great humor and a nice story line. An enjoyable story that had me captivated and laughing.
Femi is used to being in charge – that is until she meets Aaron, a Navy seal, who has agreed to watch over her. Their struggle for control, to fight a growing attraction, and ultimately to be together makes this story a great quick read that you’ll want to grab!

This is a sweet little story. Femi is wealthy and needs a new body guard because she keeps doing things to make the guys miserable. She is also in danger. Then they send Aaron who won’t put up with her stuff. Although it’s not very believable the characters are likeable and I was cheering for the Happy-ever-After. It ends rather abruptly, but the author promises more.

Femi is a princess that has everything handed to her. Aaron is a Navy Seal that fights for everything. Can they get along? Can he save her life? Another wonderful story from Odette Stone. I am looking forward to part two of this story!

Though I didn’t care much for the female MC at the beginning, which is probably the author’s intention, I soon realized the reasons for her behavior and saw the real person beneath the facade. This story shows how it often is a psychological reason for people acting the way they do.
The novel is well-written, giving us glimpses of the emotional struggles of the characters and reminds us that no matter our standing in society, we are all still human. The emotions are intense, mood-swings are frequent and the bedroom scenes are steaming!
The ending might be a bit abrupt, but I thought it was a good decision.
