I knew I had problems when I woke up in the middle of the night to find Mike Stubbins sitting at the foot of my bed, stark naked, still as gorgeous as every one of my memories of him.So what’s the problem, I hear you cry? Gorgeous, naked man in my bedroom?Well, there’s the not-so-small, highly significant detail that he died six years ago.Yup. You read that right. And now he’s everywhere. I can’t … everywhere. I can’t even brush my teeth in peace. And did I mention that he never stops talking?
I’ve missed him like crazy, every day of the six years he’s been gone. And with Christmas coming, the memories are even more acute. But this is getting beyond a joke. Ignoring a naked guy is a pretty tough task, especially when I’m the only one who sees him.
So when he bops a complete stranger on the head with his dick in the middle of the coffee shop, I have to laugh. Anyone would, right?
Except… there’s a look on the guy’s face that tells me he felt that. But… how could he?
And now he’s looking at me like he’s expecting me to explain what just happened.
Either he’ll call for the guys with the straitjacket… or this will be one of the most interesting conversations I’ve ever had….

I loved this so much!
OMG – this book made me bawl my eyes out but I loved it. The tears were both sad and happy. I was said because Andy and Ollie were both hurting from their losses even though it’s been several years for each of them. The happy tears were for when they finally got their heads out of the butts and realized what they meant to each other.
I also loved all of the light hearted moments in the story. The antics of a naked Mike were priceless and the ending? I kind of had my suspicions but the epilogue was perfect.
This is a slow burn story for sure but it was also one that I couldn’t put down once I started reading it. This is going on my list of favorite Christmas stories for sure!

I loved this delightful Christmas story. Lighthearted and full of Christmas joy, it gave me a lot of laughs and giggles, but I couldn’t help blinking away a tear or two, three as well.
K.C. Wells gives her own naughty twist to the spirit of Christmas past, present, and yet to come.
It’s a story about love. Everlasting love that doesn’t stop with death but continues long after. Selfless love so big that you can help your true love to let go and start living again without regrets or fear of forgetting. Newfound love that hits you in the head at a time when you’re ready, even if you don’t know it yet.
As always, the writing is superb and had me engrossed in the story from the very first page. The dialogue is a perfect combination of warmth, heartbreaking confessions, and witty banter.
Andy and Ollie are lovely characters who have that elusive connection and chemistry the second they met. Even though everything happens in a rather short time, it felt natural with just the right mix of hesitation and going for it.
For me, the real hero is Mike, who gives Andy and Ollie the much-needed nudge to open their eyes, mind, and heart to a well-deserved new love. There might be a sausage involved at one point. He cracked me up one moment to go all soft and squishy the next. And he knew when to disappear when it really mattered.
The epilogue was brilliant. Surprising, sweet, and mischievous.
A Christmas story that made me laugh, sob, and has become a comfort re-read.
3.5*
My Christmas Spirit was equal parts ridiculous, sweet, and heart-tugging. I’m surprised at the amount of tears I shed, considering one of the main characters in this story is a naked ghost with a perpetual erection! What about that says “bring on the waterworks”?!?
But when you realize the reason why he came back after 6 years, that’s what got the tears flowing- especially at the end.
Andy and Ollie were sweet together. They both needed a little push to get them living again, after each having suffered such terrible tragedies. There wasn’t a lot of relationship development to get me fully invested in them as a couple, but I wanted them both to be happy, and in the end, that’s exactly what I got.
A Christmas ghost story full of light. I liked getting to know the lovers, and watching them stumble over their own feelings rang true to life. HEA included.
Your late partner’s naked ghost wants to give you a Christmas gift? What’s a guy to do!
What a wonderfully fun book! K.C. has created a world that will draw you in from the first pages. I read this in one sitting. The characters are well thought out and intriguing; full of life & love. There is a lot of humor, and two men who need a ghostly push to get them together in time for Christmas.
This is Ollie & Andy’s story. Both men have lost their partners. Though they think they have, neither has moved on. Andy’s late partner Mike’s very naked & aroused ghost appears to help him finally let go. Ollie keeps getting pushed toward Andy. You will never look at coffee shops & ice skating without a smile on your face.
All Mike wants is to give Andy the perfect Christmas gift… someone to love, who loves him back. Come. Laugh with them, feel their joys & sorrows, as Andy & Ollie rediscover the spirit of Christmas. HEA is assured. You will love this book!

A sweet, touching holiday story to add to your reading list.
Christmas used to be Andy’s favorite time of year, but in the 6 years since Mike has died, he hasn’t been really living. When he suddenly finds Mike’s naked and pushy ghost in his bedroom, the shell of a life he has been living quickly begins to crack.
Funny, touching, sweet and sad, My Christmas Spirit is a wonderful hurt-comfort story that has all the holiday spirit you could want. Andy and Ollie are adorable, if sometimes a bit clueless, and may bring a few tears to your eyes, but don’t worry – Mike, or at least his ghost, will be there for some comic relief! You’ll be left smiling and full of Christmas joy.
This is a fun and whimsical holiday story and was a lot of fun to read. I love the plot of the story. The final scene was the best. Looking for a light holiday read this one will fit the bill.
Oh my…this book tugged at the heartstrings! Andy and Ollie have both lost the love of their lives and are having a hard time moving on. With some meddling help from beyond, they find themselves learning to find love again. This book contains a very naked ghost that enjoys flaunting his assets. It also has humor, emotional healing, and new found passion. A genuinely feel good read.
