Never fall in love when you’re full of Christmas spirit… celebrate Noah’s wedding.
Because Stefan and I are the only two singletons left, I just know we’re going to end up sitting together on the plane and in restaurants.
I can’t bear to be near him. It hurts too much.
And then he tells me he has feelings for me.
He says he can’t date me, but refuses to reveal why.
He wants me; the heat in his eyes convinces me of that.
But what can I possibly do about it in sub-zero temperatures?
“That’s it,” Clio says. “We’re commencing Operation Polar Fling.”
According to Clio, all men can be seduced.
I guess we’re about to find out if she’s right.

Uncomfortable emotional turmoil
This novel was beautifully written, and I love the heroine Jules. I also enjoyed the setting at a Santa’s Christmas Village resort on the edge of the Arctic Circle in Finland. However, Stefan’s particular set of personal problems made me too uncomfortable to really enjoy the book. I might be the only one who feels this way, but this story had too much unpleasant emotional turmoil. The author’s other books always have some drama, but I tend to love it in her other books. Also, I could never really get over what Stefan said to Jules during the previous book, “My Wicked Billionaire”, in which they were minor characters. These harsh words were rehashed at the beginning of this book. I could never really like Stefan even though I tried.
This book is a slow burn because, although Jules and Stephan have always been attracted to each other, it takes time to overcome the obstacles standing in the way of a personal relationship. Eventually, it gets quite steamy. There is some cussing early in the book (including the “f—” word). I thought it was a little excessive in the first few chapters, and I am glad that it was absent for the rest of the book.
The book starts off with Stephan, Jules, and about 24 other people from Jules’s extended family getting on a plane for a huge destination wedding in Finland for Noah and Abby (from “My Lonely Billionaire”). I adore Noah and Abby, and it was wonderful being able to experience their wedding. It was also very nice and cozy to see all the rest of the happy couples from this “Billionaire Kings” series and from the “Three Wise Men” trilogy.
I received a free advanced reading copy from the author, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
Christmas is my favourite time of year and the Kings are one of my favourite fictional group of characters and if I’m totally honest I would love to have as them as part of my family and friends, so this book was always going to be high up on my reading order and it gave me everything I expected and so much more. Normally we catch up with this group in New Zealand this time we are taken off to Lapland and a Christmas treat with, snow, reindeer’s, Santa as well as a wedding !!!!
Jules and Stefan have had feelings for each other that they have hidden well, he believes he is not capable or good enough for relationships and when Jules finally plucks up the courage to invite him back to her place he crushes her by rejecting her without a reason. This couple stumble from one misunderstanding to the next and it seems they will never get their act together but a long plane ride and the magic of Christmas could be exactly what this couple need…..
This book was a heartwarming read, this author really paints amazing pictures with her words and she describes the scenery so well you feel you are actually part of it. I was left thinking we are coming to the end of one of my favourite series and that left me a bit sad but I know this will be a series I read and re-read because I will be never tire of the Kings and their families and friends.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I am always drawn in at the beginning and surprised when it is time to say goodbye.
Absolutely loved this book. Such a great ending for the series. So fun revisiting Rovaniemi in Finland and Santa’s Secret Village with Rudi and Eva. Clio and Stefan are wonderfully written characters as are all in King family. I will really miss the Kings huge family and hope Serenity Woods will write more about them in the future.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
What a fabulous addition to The Billionaire Kings series! As with all of the books in this series, Serenity Woods tells a fabulous romantic story, full of amazing characters that are great friends and close family. Jules and Stefan are the last two of the group not matched up yet. They are both attracted to each other, but Stefan does not want a relationship with her.
Serenity’s writing brings the reader right into the story, and grabs us right from the first page. Jules and Stefan are characters that kept me rooting for their happy ending. It was also great to catch up with the other couples in this series.
I hope this is not the last of this series, I would certainly miss these people!
I Was given a free ARC of this book, but my opinions are all my own.
Never underestimate the magic of Christmas. There are always grinches and Scrooges out there, and the cynics. Stefan and Jules both fall into those categories somewhere. They don’t love Christmas for different reasons, but at a place called Santa’s Secret Village surrounded by family, how can you not feel the Christmas magic? There was a scene that reminded me strongly of one of the iconic Pride and Prejudice scenes, but I won’t spoil that for anyone. It just added to the enjoyment of the story for me. I think Stefan and Jules were a great couple, once they were able to come to terms with some of their issues. Of course, being naturally put together since they were the last singles left in their group may have helped with that; and listening to insightful friends and family. I’ve loved this next generation of the King family, and having them all together was perfect for Christmas.
A Snowy Romance – End of a Series.
The Christmas Eve wedding of Noah and Abby takes place in Finland and the entire King clan, plus partners, attend. The holiday does not start off well for Jules however who finds herself paired up with the only other single on the trip, Stefan, who broke her heart into a million pieces only a month previous. On their flight he apologises for his harsh words and they agree to be friends. Stefan has no idea that Jules’ friend Clio has proposed that she instigate Operation Polar Fling whilst they are away! Both characters are extremely likeable and the reader can understand why Stefan’s reasoning has got so twisted, even though this does lead initially to heartache for Jules.
Whilst this book can be read as a standalone, I think the books in this series are best read in order.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I feel a bit sad that this is the last of the Kings books. It was a nice little wrap up, and I liked that the author explained about the epilogue.
I loved all of the descriptions about the Arctic North and Santa’s Village. The descriptions were so vivid, it was almost like you could feel the chill and breathe in the frosty air. I also actually remembered Rudi and Eva’s story from the book, Santa’s Secret.
Stefan and Jules had been circling each other for a while. In this book, there were hints as to why Stefan was holding back. Even after finding out the truth, I was still surprised and a bit disappointed that was the only reason.
It is rare that I don’t feel a connection with both people in the couple. With Stefan and Jules, I just didn’t feel it with her. I am not sure why not. I didn’t get that same sense of chemistry, sexual attraction, or sensuality between the couple that was in the other Billionaire King’s books.
To be more specific, it seemed like it was coming from Stef’s direction, but not from Jules’. There was one scene were he told her to slow down, and that just took me out of the moment. Almost like she was rushing for the wrong reasons, and not because she was so excited about being with Stefan.
It was nice to see how much the couples loved each other, and to experience the friendship and family relationships. This book was a sweet, romantic holiday read. I’m glad Noah and Abby got their wedding day. I would give this book 3.5 stars.

5 Star Review of My Christmas Billionaire (The Billionaire Kings # 7) by Serenity Woods
I love any story about Christmas and when it is set in Finland, well I just knew it would be amazing. It was great to catch up with the extended King family and as always the writing was so descriptive that I could easily picture the scenery of Finland, it really made for a magical read.
Not long ago, Jules summoned up the courage to invite Stefan back to her place, she was crushed when he rejected her. Now they are both on their way to Santa’s Secret Village in Finland, for Noah and Abby’s wedding with the rest of the gang and as the only remaining single people Jules knows it will be hard to continue to a avoid Stefan.
Although Stefan has feelings for Jules, he had his reasons for rejecting her. There are so many misunderstandings between them that at times I was worried that they would not get the happily ever after that they both deserved.
Noah and Abby’s wedding was amazing and brought me to tears.
I loved the banter and the build up of tension between Jules and Stefan as they both struggle to come to terms with what they want.
This was a bittersweet read knowing that with Jules and Stefan the couples have all found their significant others and that this is probably the last if not next to last book. I have loved getting to know the King family, their friends and extended family.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Operation Polar Fling!
This book is a terrific way to end the Billionaire Kings series (although there is talk of a “wrap up” book, so one can hope that this is the 2nd to last book!)
It’s got what I love about books …. terrific main and supporting characters, location that is part of the book, and interesting storyline.
The characters … This book has Stefan and Jules as the main characters. They’ve known each other for ages, since they were children, have had strong friendship and hints of mutual attraction for years. The supporting characters are friends that make you smile … but don’t worry if this is your first book. Ms. Woods writes so well that it’s a standalone … although you’ll immediately want to read the whole series. Eva and Rudi are hosting, Noah and Abby are having a wedding, Clio and Ryan are in attendance as are the original 3 Kings … with lots of kiddos fun.
The book starts in NZ but travels to the Arctic Circle, in Finland, for much of the book. The setting is cold, and Ms. Woods’ storyline weaves in unique aspects of a upper tier resort above the Arctic circle (I won’t spoil the surprises).
On that line, I like how Ms. Woods’ crafted a very unique story. There is tension between Jules and Stefan from the previous book (My Wicket Billionaire) that has Jules heartbroken and Stefan feeling remorse over his rejection of her. All of a sudden, there is tension between the two friends and it’s spilling over into the broader friend group. Jule’s is super hurt and doesn’t understand Stefan, who feels awful and yet has his own reasons. The friends swoop in, convinced that Jule’s needs to continue to put herself out there to help Stefan see what is in front of him…. and so Operation Polar Fling is born!
In addition to the characters, setting, and storyline, there is more… arctic foxes, reindeer sleigh, aurora borealis, ice restaurants, and more!

I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
Juliet and Stefan’s story was short and sweet. At least it felt over too soon to me because I was enjoying their very special snowy Christmas. Plus, those two have been brewing for so long, and there were few obstacles. There were some beautiful moments with other Kings and some gorgeous descriptions of a winter wonderland. This was a great escape read and revisit with the Kings. Loved it.
It was sad to reach the last novel in The Billionaire Kings series, and what an ending! This Christmas romance is set in the perfect location for a magical and lovely tale: a secret Santa village in snowy Finland. The whole family travels to Finland for Noah and Abby’s wedding (don’t worry, each book stands alone) and they all share some very special events and Christmas-themed activities. What a contrast to a summer Christmas in new Zealand. And the romantic atmosphere finally allows Stefan to confide in Jules about why he has avoided a relationship with her. As usual, Serenity is not afraid to tackle difficult subjects and make her plots real. Can Stefan and Jules overcome the obstacles and act on their growing passion and feelings? The sexual tension keeps building until it ignites on the page. I had to hold back tears in the end!
Finally! Jules and Stefan’s story! As we found out in the end of Book 6, Noah and Abby are getting married at Santa’s Secret Village in Finland, and I’ve got to say, what a magical, incredible setting for this Christmas story, and a very fitting way to end the series. As we’ve come to expect with this author, she takes us on this amazing journey to Finland, in great detail describes this place that makes you want to jump on the nearest travel site and make your plans to travel there for Christmas. Jules and Stefan are thrown into the wedding excitement, which works wonders for their challenging non relationship. I loved the dynamics of all the characters we’ve come to know and love, the fact that it’s Noah who has gotten everyone to this winter wonderland is very fitting. There are definitely some tears, Fred broke my heart, and the wedding was nothing short of every woman’s fantasy. I hope the author makes good on her promise of a follow up book to close the loose ends, I can’t wait for it to come out! Very well worth the read for those of us who have followed this series to the end, loved every moment of it.
