Claire was working as a Paralegal/Secretary for jack, the CEO. He seemed to always walk by the moment she was in a terrible mood. Her actions resulted in her being called into his office. Once they were inside, she was always honest with him on what was causing her outburst.
Claire was living at home with her parents when she found out she was pregnant. Unfortunately, her child’s father wanted nothing to do with her or the baby. When her mother found out, she was so disappointed in her and gave her a week to move out.
When everyone turned their backs on her, Jack stepped in as a friend and helped her. He not only provided a nice and safe place for her to live, but he continuously spoke highly of her. He eventually became more than she could have ever imagined. Although Claire’s plans for her life did not go in the order in which she planned, her goals were accomplished.
This short story of forgiveness was a pleasant read.

Claire has had a offkilter life. To parents. As he says holier than thou type persona. She finds out she’s pregnant. She approaches the father of the baby. Mean words horrible words come flying out his mouth with an ending a slap. She goes and tells her mom. Mom kicked her out the house says you have a week get out. A woman in her mid-20s who gets this reaction from her mom was slightly not so surprising. So she tells her boss. Because now she’s hormonal and has nowhere to go. Jackson, her boss has no problem listening to her woes. He offers her bedroom suite in his house due to his divorced for over two years and has the space. Not through the story, Claire does a lot of body shaming and I’m pretty sure it’s from her mom. She’s a skinny thing yada, yada, yada whatever. So Jackson even though he’s older is not a full participant in helping her find her niche. These have made a decision to become a couple and try to keep it out of the office. From there, things just get situational funny and dramatic because of Jackson and Claire being a couple. Very realistic stuff. And really at the end, if it wasn’t for her mom a.k.a mean and surly, who got on her extremely, extremely high horse, this relationship would not of happened. I’m not trying to give her kudos but if you look at the big picture… it’s a ride.

Just Not Ready for a Public Reading
Just Bae attempts to engage the reader in her older man/younger woman love story, but the attempted romance is not ready for the public. The writing needs development and polish.
The premise is that Claire Lane, a young woman of beauty, intelligence and sweetness which is not fully appreciated by anyone except her boss, Jackson Hayes, has suffered through life mentally and emotionally undervalued by everyone—parents, boy-friends and co-workers. Long suffering Claire finally breaks when she becomes pregnant by her first and only boyfriend, Jeremy, who dumps her, claiming that he could not be the father because he used protection, and concluding that she has been cheating on him. Seeking help and support of her church going mother, she again has her character attacked and is thrown out of her home by that pious woman. Even her co-worker is unsupportive and insulting of the young traumatized woman causing Claire to yell at her cruel co-worker. Called into the office of her boss, Jackson Hayes, who is surprised by Claire’s loud and public response to the older co-worker, she tells him of her woes—pregnant, unsupported by the father and made homeless by her critical and embarrassed parents. The older boss, who has admired her beauty, intelligence and charm, offers to provide her with lodging, a job promotion, and over time, he confronts all of the bullies in her life. She turns into the beauty that only he has seen and whom he now attires with clothing to enhance her growing pregnancy. Jackson becomes her daddy and her protector, seeking to destroy all who have hurt Claire.
The attempt to write and weave stories is to be admired, but equally to be admired is to know when to go public with those tales. This story is not yet ready for public reading, and certainly not ready to ask for payment to read an unpolished effort.

This book was just okay it lacked something the plot sounded good but I felt lost reading it it needed more editing. That being said this book dose have potential you have a young women her 20s who has mad a colossal mistake in the man she has dated and is now pregnant by she was on task had a good job and then life happened her boyfriend is a jerk who wants nothing to do with the responsibility of being a parent. And Claire her parents especially the mother well they need to be shaped they throw her out what is she supposed to do tell her boss Jackson about her troubles he’s happy to help.
Jackson wants Carlie but his divorce has left a bad taste in his mouth he is okay as a leading guy but he lacked something Claire is insecure and Jackson is older so there’s that his ex her parents and it all spells trouble.

I liked the book but I feel like it was a little rushed. Great characters and a very fast read. Jackson who is Claire’s boss helps her when her parents throw her out and her ex left her pregnant. Things heat up fast when she moves in. Definitely HEA

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Jackson and Claire. She’s an assistant at Jackson’s law firm. Agree finds herself in a precarious position, pregnant and baby starts wanting to do ever oh, and her parents kicked her out the house. Jackson steps up and offers for her to stay with him starting the beginnings of a great relationship. Great HEA in the end.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. The book has a good storyline but it felt choppy and un-developed. I didn’t feel like it had a natural flow to it.

I really don’t like books that’s writen like this one because sometimes you get so confuse and I really would have love this book if it wasn’t so short and kind of weird but it was an ok book. So if you like these kind of books feel free to read it yourself and see how you would like it

I read My CEO Got Me: Claire by Just Bae and it was a story that made me feel all kinds of emotions like anger, sadness, happiness and finally love. Claire gets pregnant and her mom and dad throw her out of the house after saying terrible things to her. So she is homeless, pregnant and her boyfriend doesn’t want her or the baby. Her boss Jackson notices Claire and senses something is wrong and offers to help her by having her stay at his home. Somewhere in the middle of all of this chaos of Claire’s life, Jackson falls in love with her. I loved how Jackson stepped up to care for Claire when her own parents wouldn’t and he is even caring for her baby even when it isn’t his. He treated Claire with the respect and adoration that she deserved. I loved how it ended. Everyone got what they deserved in the end.

**Semi-spoiler**
This book while reading it felt very choppy and undeveloped. There were interactions and so on between characters that did not seem to coincide with the flow that the storyline was trying to relay. There were grammatical errors left and right.
That being said, this book has so much potential to be a fantastic novel! Basic editing aside, with further development and expansion of the characters and storyline, this book could develop into amazing novel.
I have to admit, I love the additional message of being kind to others even when they have not been kind to you. The empathy and willingness of characters to give people second chances shown in this book is sweet.
This would be an excellent read to readers who appreciate the softer, less advanced side of “romance” novels or those younger readers just starting to explore an interest in romance/erotica novels.
