I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Eric and Mia. Eric is still in North Carolina helping his cousins with they’re Apple farm when he enters a donut contest. Mia is a judge, but she hates sweets. There is an instant connection. Both are drawn together and make a perfect recipe. Great HEA with fun characters.

I adored Mia and Eric. Theirs is a super sweet whirlwind romance. Perfect for a quick coffee break pick-me-up. (4.5)
Terra does a fantastic job writing her stories that make them fun to read. In this book of the series, there’s fun romance with some steam added in. Eric and Mia are complete opposites but maybe opposites really do attract. Great writing, strong characters and entertainment throughout the book.

The latest book in this series was such a great read. It evolved around Eric a cousin of the Appleton’s who ran an apple orchard in Michigan along with his brother and Mia a woman who for the past few years has not enjoyed anything involving apples. This was such a cute and sexy read. I love how Eric makes it his mission to get Mia to try desserts made with apples. Even so far as to finding out the reason behind it. The connection these two have is great. I really enjoyed the storyline and the wonderful HEA.

This is my first story from Terra Kelly and boy I like her style. This is a Man Card Series, in which this is book 12. I have a lot to catch up on, but I am eager to read the previous ones and those that follow. This story is short, hot and sweet. This is about Eric Appleton and Mia Day. She is a judge at a donut contest in which Eric submitted the candy apple donut and lost to a chocolate one. When he sees her and comes up to her, her lady parts start to awaken to her surprise. She knows Eric is only there for a short stay and doesn’t want to get near him as it would only be a short thing. Eric is intrigued by her especially as she confesses that she doesn’t like apples and that his donut was too sweet. Mia has a friend who is determined to look out for her friend and sets her up on a date with Eric. She tries to cancel but he doesn’t allow it. I won’t say more in order to not give up the whole story but think of Apple and Cinnamon they are at the end of the of the story…so cute!

It all started with a donut….
We first met Eric in The Apple of My Eye and I just knew that his story would be interesting. He was a man who did not do love or relationships. Instead he just had fun not taking much except for his work and family seriously.
My Candy Apple is the story of Eric Appleton and Mia Day. They are quite the opposites in a lot of ways but they both fall for each other like a mighty redwood tree being felled hard. Eric is one of the cousins from Michigan who has come to the Appleton Farm with his brother Ryan to learn more about what the family is doing to make the farm so successful on a number of different levels. Ryan is a chef/baker who has a culinary degree and loves to make up and perfect new recipes which involve the apples from his family’s farm. He enters the local Fall donut contest with his new candy apple donut in hopes of winning.
Mia is a judge for the contest even though sweets are not her thing and she not eat apples. She may have found Eric’s donut to be way too sweet but she finds Eric to be beyond delicious!!! When he talks to her she feels her insides quiver and all she can do is imagine what his beard would feel like scraping across her bare skin. But she is shy and instead of staying after the contest to talk with Eric she grabs her purse and bolts out the door, with him hot on her heels trying to chat her up.
They meet again at the farm when she is scared witless by a scarecrow in the farm’s corn maze and literally bowls into him knocking him down. But again when he tries to chat her up she bolts with the friend, Cora, that had talked her into going.
But the third time is the charm for these two when Cora arranges for Eric and Mia to have a date. They end up having a real connection that ends with Eric finding out that Mia does taste sweet along with some other things.
This was another wonderful sweet and steamy short story in the Man Card series. Mia was a lot of fun and made me laugh for than once with her internal dialogue. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to everyone.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I liked that Mia and Eric are an opposite instant attraction. I liked that they met when she was judging a donut competition he had entered. I enjoyed their story and how they find their happy ending.

Another great short story in this terrific series and once again we are visiting the Appleton family
Eric Appleton is not only a member of the family that works the apple farms they own but he is also a man with a culinary degree Normally he is situated in Michigan but he has come to help the family in North Carolina while he is there he enters in the culinary competition. He has always known that the perfect woman for him would have to love desserts something he loves to make When he actually meets Mia she hates desserts and doesn’t meet any of his other criteria but the connection is there between them Do they have a future together You will have to read to see

A man with a beard, stir in a woman who loves the beard, and you get one hot sexy romance. This series is fun to read.
3 1/2 Stars
Short and sweet Contemporary Romance with a small town feel.
Eric and Mia met over one of his prized donuts as he found out her dislike for apples and sweets. It didn’t stop Eric from pursuing Mia they fall for each other in spite of their differences.
Low drama, no crazy exes in the mix, zero cheating, and a sweet HEA at the end.

Instant attraction only goes so far unless you act on it. Like how they each get a little push in the right direction to take the next step. This couple just clicked on so many levels, that made it impossible to deny all the signs leading them to a HEA.

Mia’s the exact opposite of everything that Eric wants. So why does he want her so bad? He enters his candy apple donut in a local competition, and he doesn’t win. Mia is one of the judges – she doesn’t like dessert, or sweets. Her friend friend notices the connection between them, and set them up on a date. He’s visiting from Michigan, and starts to think that maybe he should stay in North Carolina. This is another nice steamy book in this series, and I’ve loved all of them. Mia and Eric have terrific chemistry. And I love the names that all of these couples give to their children!

Lust at first sight! A sweet insta-love romance between an apple farmer/chef baker and a girl who hates apples. They meet, they touch and it’s all over folks! Short, sweet, funny and the infamous beard! Oh, plenty of steamy stuff in this little novella!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
This is another cute book in the Man Card series. This book takes place at the Appleton farm in Michigan. Gracie is divorced and back home at her father’s Apple farm. Even though she is almost 40, her father forbids her to have anything to do with anyone at the Appleton Farm as he still feels they stole some of his business when they came to town.
I was glad to see that Gracie had a mind of her own and went to Ryan Appleton’s place of business to signup for a walk. It was sweet that she had a crush on Ryan for so long. It was like fate stepped in as Ryan was attracted to Gracie. There relationship has a few bumps in the road. I encourage you to read the book.
