Darren O’SullivanReason #3 To Dislike Kayleigh Scott: she laughed far too loud.Reason #2 To Really Dislike Kayleigh Scott: her giggle was even worse.I didn’t need her working for me, her damn strawberries and cream shampoo cutting through the smell of petrol oil in my mechanic garage. I liked being on my own in the darkness under the hood. I deserved to be alone.I didn’t need her fingers brushing … alone.
I didn’t need her fingers brushing mine as she passed me the wrench. Didn’t need her trying to change things, fix things, to fix me.
I didn’t want her around my family, enchanting them with her dimpled smile, her infectious laughter. Didn’t need them to fall in love with her… especially not my baby brother, Eoin.
Reason #1 To Really, Really Dislike Kayleigh Scott:
She wasn’t mine.
…she was my brother’s girl.

Darren and Kayleigh had much to go through to be together as a couple in this story. Kayleigh was a strong woman and gave Darren a chase to get to the finish line. Darren needed a shake up and a good woman. This was a good slow burn romance.
This is an amazing slow burn page turner that you won’t want to put down! The emotions that Kayleigh and Darren go through can be felt throughout the pages of this book and you will be cheering for them to find their way to each other forever. You won’t regret reading this one!
The angst is strong with this one!
Another huge hit for me in the Irish Kiss series. I swear Sienna Blake can do no wrong in my eyes.
We were given a strong female lead character and frankly, I loved Kaleigh. She truly gave Darren a run for his money, something he desperately needed. I love it when the main characters are spunky and push back at each other. Watching the frustration change to desire and the back and forth of it all makes for an exciting, can’t put it down kind of read.
Darren and his broody back and forth about Kaleigh also hit the spot for me. His inner turmoil was some of the best I have read in a long time. The fact that he values his family so much really endeared him to me.
My Brother’s Girl ticked all of the boxes for me and I am highly recommending this read!
5 Stars for this one!
I loved this book so much! I kept rooting for them to get together. It was a very, VERY rocky road, but they eventually managed to get their HEA… FINALLY! What a ride to get there it was though. I do wish there was just a little more description during the love scene.
“Maybe some things aren’t supposed to be easy.”
My Brother’s Girl is a forbidden romance; a man falling for his brother’s girl. A girl who somewhat reluctantly is with one brother, but desires another. Loved the tormented Darren, however I wasn’t too into Kayleigh. This is not a sweet, feel good romance. It’s a wave of emotions which Sienna Blake excels at. Her writing is witty and the emotions come off the page. If you want a sweet, feel good romance read, then this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for a dark read with magnetic chemistry, give this one a try.
From the first page I was intrigued by Kayleigh a girl not knowing what she wanted in life, growing up in a horrible household not being loved and doing whatever her mother told her. After a long night at where she works, she is pushed into the arms of Eion and life who was a hopeless romantic claiming her as his soul male. What she didn’t expect was to fall for his brother. They both feel the instant connection from the moment they locked eyes and he does everything he could to hate her and fight the feelings he felt for her. While reading this you’re on an emotional coaster of will they won’t they, even when you know they are meant to be. I have read quiet a few books of Sienna’s and again this disappoint. I absolutely loved it and it had me swooning, laughing, crying and smiling by the end, I honestly couldn’t put it down not once. I was given this book to give an honest opinion and I happy to say I’d read it again and again
What did I just read? Wow! This book was a trope I have read before but it was like no other book I have read before. The twists and heartbreak that are in this story will have you laughing at one point and then crying at another. This family makes me want to draw up a chair at their Sunday lunch table that is groaning under the heavy weight of food and lively conversation.
Darren and Kayleigh are such a perfect match. Both have such hidden hurts and long for a life they think they don’t deserve. Both are willing to settle. Darren for less than Kayleigh. But after their bathroom meet cute, their mindset changed. I loved the slow burn, the back and forth that these two went through, trying to hold back the inevitable and not hurt other family members.
I loved this story so much! Once you start, be prepared, because you won’t be able to put it down. This was one of my favorite reads this year! So so good! You don’t want to miss it!
This is book 5 in the Irish Kiss series and I loved it!
The Irish men keep me wanting an Irish man for myself. Each book can be read as a standalone but why wouldn’t you want to read the other books.
This is Darren and Kayleigh’s story.
Emotional and chuck full of passion, these characters came to life and gave me one hell of a great story.
Beside it bring a great story, with Part of April’s profits going to a #COVID19
This story takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The ups and downs, the twists and turns, take you from sad to mad to heartbreaking tears. I could not put it down.
A fantastic addition to this series. A sweet romance with angsty moments. A roller coaster journey for Kayleigh and Darren, but Sienna Blake did a beautiful job in keeping this story real!! Loved it. Can’t wait for more!!
Wow! Amazing storyline. Loved the characters and their journey together. So much chemistry and passion. A must read.
