Noah, Bryce, Lucas, and I grew up together, and while I was forever just one of the boys, I never had a problem with it. I never saw them as anything more than my best friends… until one dry spell stretched for way too long. That was when I started to learn how they really felt. There was just one problem… how was I supposed to choose between the three of them? I felt something for all three of … all three of my boys, and I had to find an answer that made everyone happy. I couldn’t stand to lose one of them in favor of another. Luckily, as things fell into place, I quickly learned that I didn’t need to choose between them.

Wow this was my first read by this author but boy do I love a reverse Harlem! And my oh my was this a very steamy read! She goes to her high schol reunion and runs into her high school bullies and despite wanting to hate their guts well lets just say things take a steamy turn. And boy is it good! I highly recommend this book especially if you like reverse harlems. I’m looking extremely forward to the next book and Truthfully can not wait to read it!
Francine “Frankie” moves onto the street and meets her boys when they find her crashed and hurt. Lucas, Bryce and Noah all grow up as friends together with Frankie. None of them ever telling their true feelings for her. Until one day when they are 24 and Bryce finally kisses her. I did not like how this story ended. There should be an epilogue showing them after Frankie is done with her residency. All moving in together, settling down, maybe a legal union/ commitment ceremony between them all, and a pregnancy announcement. This seemed more like a HFN rather than a HEA.
Childhood friends grow into lovers x 3
My Boys is a Reverse Harem romance story with four childhood friends who become a whole lot more when they grow up. The story is about Francine, aka Frankie, and Bryce, Lucas and Noah. When Frankie and her mother had moved to a new home after her father had left them she becomes friends with the three boys who were already best friends. It is lucky for Frankie that she has My Boys as they become her support system regarding her mother, who is just a piece of work. As they grow up they remain a group and really do love each other. Well the boys are all in love with Frankie and she loves each of them.
After high school Frankie goes to university to become a doctor, which was her dream. She is lucky to be able to do this as her father had set-up a college fund before he left so everything is taken care of for her. Once a week she and the boys get together to catch up with and keep tabs on each other. All four were on different paths in life but yet they never lost the thread that tied them together as a group.
In this book they start to explore the beginnings of a relationship together, as none of them has been able to have a lasting relationship with anyone else.
This is an interesting take on a RH which grows organically with friends turning into lovers and entering into what is a natural relationship for them. There is a lot of character development but at the same time they did not always come to life and were kind of in a lane the whole time and stayed there. The ending was a bit rushed also. Overall I found it to be an okay book which needs some polishing and another round with the proofreader/editor. There is a lot of potential with this story-line and characters though so hopefully the author will flush it out more.
I loved this audiobook and the characters in it. I recommend this it’s .
This is a continuation of book 1. Francine (Frankie) grew up with Lucas, Noah and Bryce. Frankie and Lucas are living together and then Bryce moves in. Only Noah is still living in an apartment, so the dynamic is off kilter. This story goes through the growing pains of living all together, telling the parents and working out the dynamics of all involved. I enjoyed reading this book and the happy ending.

4.5 stars
This is the first book I have read in the series and it can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the prior book first. This book picks up and continues the journey that Noah, Lucas, Bryce and Frankie are on and how they deal with their relationship. Ms. Clark has done an admirable job in dissecting the feelings and emotions that people in a polyamorous relationship go through, addressing the jealousy and prejudice from others that can affect everyone involved. It reads like a real-world account of this type of dynamic filled with steam. If you enjoy the reverse harem genre then this is one to add to your tbr list. My Boys was OK. The storyline was decent, and the switch between flashbacks and present day was interesting. But something seemed off about the dynamic between Frankie and her guys, especially Lucas. I find it odd that the first person she realized she loved was also the one most worried that thins would fail.
The large amount of errors bothered me as well. Everything from missing words, to extra or missing commas, to grammatically incorrect sentences.
I wouldn’t say stay away from this one, but there’s no need for you to rush out and buy it.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Lucas, Noah, Bryce and Frankie grew up in the same neighborhood since they were little, and now they are adults. The friendship they all built, the trust in each other and love for each other.
Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

Frankie, Lucas, Noah and Bryce all grew up together but were just friends all through school. Now they are adults and when other women in the guys lives don’t like Frankie or the guy in Frankie’s life doesn’t like the guys they wonder why. Then it hits them that yeah there is something more between them but do they want to risk their friendships to explore it. Bryce is the first of the guys to act by kissing her first soon the guys want their chance with her to. They all agree that they don’t want to get married but just be committed to each other. But what will their parents think of their relationship? Will they be public about their commitment?
For me this was an ok reverse harem read. I don’t understand how the characters are together but not all living with each other or wanting to take that final commitment to one another. It has steamy hot chemistry between all the characters. This is a well written and somewhat entertaining read.

Francine was out riding her bike when she crashed landed. Lucas was there to help her and that day forward is when Francine was no more and Frank or Frankie was inseparable from Lucas, Noah and Bryce. Frankie grow up with the three boys. They were always there for her when ever she needed to rant or rave about anything to them. Just like the boys could always go to her about any of there problems. Frankie might not have liked how Bryce always treated his dates or Noah was all ways to into his work with being a inter for a law firm or that Lucas kept to himself after his mama passed way. Frank new that they had her back no matter what was going on in there lives that they would all drop everything and help each other out in the end. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
My first book by this author that is new to the RH genre. The build is good since the caracters are friends since childhood so they’ve known each other a very long time. I like the depth in this book and they feel like real people but the end felt rushed so I hope that goes better next time.
This is the first story by Alyssa Clark that I have read. I will be reading more in the future! I really enjoyed this story because it took me into the middle, like I was a fly on the wall and was able to see what was going on and what each of the characters was felling and going through. It made the characters feel real and very well rounded. Like you could walk into a restaurant and pick out one of the characters sitting at a table. One of the things I really liked about this story is the fact that it took you into the psyche of what it is like to have a poly relationship. Yes, these four have known each other for many years and had each other’s back. I liked the fact that two of the mothers were very supportive of the group from the time they were kids. This is a story about friends to lovers without making it all about tons of hot scenes. There are hot scenes, but it is more about a great story.
Frankie didn’t have the best life at home. After her father left them, her mother became a very bitter person who pushed her beliefs and expectations on her daughter. It almost seemed like Frankie couldn’t do anything right in her mother’s eyes. Good thing she ran into Bryce, Noah and Lucas as soon as her and her mother moved into the neighborhood. The boys took her under their wings and made her part of the group. They were all supportive of each other as they all grew up. Frankie was fortunate that her absent father had set up a college fund for her so she could pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. She never had to worry about tuition, books, room and board all through college, even in residency. Granted, in residency she was sharing an apartment with another girl, not a friend of hers. Frankie and the guys got together every other week to keep tabs on each other and share what they were going through.
Lucas had an absentee father with a mother that wasn’t the best either. He was the most serious and grown up kid in the group. That never changed. The only difference between him and the rest is that he never went to college. He worked doing all sorts of household repairs and yard work When his mother passed, he inherited her home and the first thing he did was gut it. That way he can get rid of all the bad memories and create the home and memories he wants.
Bryce was always the spoiled and entitled one of the group. His parents spoiled him but were the most caring parents to the whole group. He was chunky as a kid until high school when he got into sports and got fit and buff. Then he became the playboy. He went through women all the time. Never had a serious relationship and when he had one of his girls around the group, the girl was sent to get the drinks and was never treated with respect.
Noah became an attorney. He was the one that had the mother that cared for them all, but was also scared of her. She would have put a Marine sergeant to shame, but she cared about them all. He was the one of the group who had the nicest car and apartment, even though his parents taught him to be thrifty. He had a good head on his shoulders, but still knew how to have fun with his friends.
They all had one problem. They could never have a decent relationship with anyone because the one thing they wouldn’t give up was their group. They each also had a secret they kept, the guys knew that each of them were in love with Frankie, but didn’t want to mess up their friendship dynamic. When Frankie started to realize that maybe she felt more than just friendship with the guys, she knew she had to speak to them about it. When Bryce kissed her, she asked how the others would feel if they saw them kissing. He told her that they would want to kiss her next.

Upon a chance meeting, an accident of sorts, as a child, Francine meets Lucas, Bryce and Noah. Best friends from the start, they grow up together, sticking with each other through thick and thin. But what happens when, as adults, no one else can measure up?
Alyssa Clark brings to life the struggles of friendship and love with My Boys: A Reverse Harem Romance.
How many women would be lucky enough to have three men, strikingly handsome, fall for her? Not to mention, how many women could handle that all at once? Francine certainly can.
This story has everything necessary for the perfect steamy romance. Hot men, beautiful woman, subtle humor (sometimes absolute hilarity) and steamy sex.
I couldn’t put it down.
Definitely looking forward to much more by Alyssa Clark.

Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
So, I just finished this book and I’m not impressed with it. The writing is good, a lot better than some other books I’ve read, but I couldn’t really get into the story. The switch from friendship to relationship seemed forced between the four main characters, so I couldn’t really “picture” this happening. Reading this story made it feel like it wasn’t going to be that easy, and I just didn’t enjoy reading it.

This book is an amazing story of best friends finding love with each other! Frankie meets Lucas, Bryce and Noah when she moves into their neighborhood after her parents split up. She falls off her bike and when the boys pass by, they stop and Lucas makes sure she is ok. He takes her to Bryce’s mom who fixes her up and a strong bond between Frankie and the boys is formed. Their mothers also step in and take her under their wing like she is their daughter. The four of them do everything together and when Frankie is in trouble, they are always there for her. But there is a line that they never cross – they never become more than friends. Until one day, while she is getting ready to start her residency, Bryce kisses her, saying he always wanted more than friendship. What starts with one little kiss becomes a relationship betweent the four of them that they have all always wanted but were afraid to try, fearing it would ruin their friendship. They face a few bumps along the way when Frankie’s jealous roommate Sara, tells Frankie’s mom. Frankie gets cut off by her mom, who has been paying her bills, and she ends up moving out of the apartment and into Lucas’s house with him. In the end, they all come together, Frankie’s mom forgives her and they continue to take steps to lead them to their happily ever after.

Their’s was a special relationship based on love and honesty!
by sewsummore
Ever since she had moved into the neighborhood as a young child, it had always been Fankie and the the boys. Through adolescence and beyond into adulthood, it had always been the same. They had her back and she had theirs. All that changed when Bryce kissed her, the boys had wanted more from their relationship than friendship and adding sex to the equation changed the dynamics. They all wanted more and when Frankie said she also wanted more it was time to re-evaluate the situation. Fankie loved her boys and the boys loved her, jealousy was not a factor since they were always together now it was just better. I enjoyed the story, the the relationship between Fankie, Bryce, Noah and Lucas had been forged over time, it was important to all of them. It was this relationship that made this story so wonderful, it is not why or how we love that is important only that they do so unreservedly and honestly.

Frankie has been friends with Lucas, Noah and Bryce since she moved into the neighborhood as a child. As the years have gone by, the guys make a pact to not get any closer than best friends. Each man tries to put her first until Bryce just decides he’s going to kiss her, he feels they’ve waited long enough. One by one, sometimes with a nudge from Frankie, the men move towards what they’ve always dreamed of. There are very sexy times, some drama and family disapproval, but most of all you could feel the love between all four. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Allysa’s next menage

This is an interesting read that follows four children to becoming adults. I enjoyed the different personalities of these characters in that how certain characteristics changed from childhood to becoming adults. They all feared changing the dynamics of the group if intimacies were included. Good read!

I have to say this is one of the best reverse harem books I have read in a while. Frankie is our main character. She has a good head on her shoulders and loves her boys, Lucas, Bryce, and Noah. If you want a story with all the feels and warm fuzzies this is the story for you!!!
