My Boss’s Forbidden Daughter by Lindsey Hart was a wickedly amusing, delightful, steamy story of Johnathan and Cassie. She’s an accountant and her co-worker/stepbrother has left and has been temporarily replaced by Johnathan. She’s none to happy about it and is, honestly, a bit of a witch to him at first. But, slowly and humorously things change. I’ll never think of pickles the same again…without laughing. This guy is a saint….to tolerate her.
I enjoyed this laugh-a-minute story sooooooooo much!!! Just a wonderful escape and wildly, enormously entertaining read!!!!!

Aussie works as an accountant at her family’s giant grocery chain and the company had just hired John to replace her stepbrother for at least a year to deal with mergers and acquisitions. Cassie resents John replacing her brother but she does find him attractive and she accidentally spills coffee on him at their first meeting. He is also attracted to her and the 2 have a lot of playful bantering conversations. Things do not get any better and Cassie has several hilarious text conversations with her friends for advice throughout the story. Cassie has been hurt badly in previous relationships and is afraid of being hurt again because she thinks he is a player. There is also a hilarious incident with pickles. Will the “enemies” realize their strong feelings might actually be love?
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, especially the texting with her friends and the appearance of pickles throughout the book. I highly recommend this book.

Totally cracked me up (ROTFL) …
Had no idea this author had the ability to literally make me laugh out loud on repeat, definitely the best medicine, well one of the best anyway! 🙂 No spoilers from me & no need to outline the story either but I can’t commend this highly enough. Yes, you might want to smack the heroine at times but I bet you’ll be able to identify with her too. As for the hero, my lips are sealed…x rated! I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
ONE FUN-FILLED AVALANCHE!!!
Greedy gremlins! Lindsey let the skeletons out of the closet with this lol, perfectly paired smashed up team, riding this skillfully composed delicious sweet treat with one intensely fun storyline and engaging plot, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Quirky mishaps and surprising happenstance, showcase the taxing trials and pulse racing tribulations, stumbling through the funky twists and crazy turns, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they never saw coming. Shenanigans, escapades and mayhem rule the roost displaying the drama, turmoil, intrigue, secrets, simmering mystique and electrifying situations, along with a boatload of moxie and sass, you have one intoxicating experience. The attraction and chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are complex and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuinely relatable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and depictions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Amazing job Lindsey, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
Another great read in the Heartbreaker series. Cassie meets John when he is hired to take her brother’s job when her brother takes off for a year. Cassie assumes John is a bad person, a player, and gives him a terrible time. John takes a lot from her and he really was such a great guy. I really loved the John and Cassie together, their banter and chemistry was wonderful. A really enjoyable story and I loved every minute of it.

This is the third book in the Heartbreaker series. Cassie is the level headed, calm one out of group. When John takes the position in the firm to replace her stepbrother, Cassie can’t except him and make things miserable for him. But there is a fine line between hate and love. Pickles are the next greatest vegetable. Loved the book.

I always enjoy the graphic that the author uses at the top of her chapters and this one was no different. Johnathan is the new guy on the job. Cassie is not happy with the change taking place at her family business. This is a very funny story. The internal monologues carried on by both characters as they fight their feelings for each other will leave you laughing out loud. Cassie’s creative way of cursing will also be another point of hilarity. There are several moments that remind me of watching slap schtick comedy that is just great. This is two awkward people who have to get past their fears and embrace their feelings. A wonderfully fun story.
Fiddlestack
Yet another fun read in this Heartbreakers series. The bond between Cassie, Rin and Aria continues even though they’re not living near each other.
This book focuses on Cassie, and her new co-worker Johnathon. He has taken a position with her family’s company, temporarily replacing her brother Lucas on a year’s contract. She resents him being there from the start simply because her brother isn’t there, but she can’t deny her attraction to him. And he most certainly is attracted to her too.
Their relationship or whatever it is, has many ups and downs, with lots of angst and plenty of humour! They have some really sweet and steamy scenes, and I feel like they’re a great pair together. Support from her friends allows Cassie to see that John really is worth the risk of getting involved.
The story is lots of fun, but I felt it ended too abruptly, and it seemed a bit incomplete – so I REALLY hope this isn’t the end of the series! I gave this one four and a half stars.

Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

This is the third book in the Heartbreakers Series, and it didn’t disappoint. Cassie and Johnathan’s story is so cute and funny. From the beginning, the chemistry between them was great. But Cassie kept giving him a hard time because he was hired as her stepbrother’s replacement. Johnathan took all the punishment she unintentionally and intentionally dished out. Their banter and teasing back and forth was hilarious.

The author has given us characters that do not want to be attracted to each other and go out of their way to irritate the other person. The story flows smoothly and keeps you turning the pages to find out if they will or will not become involved.

4.5 Stars!
This was a fun, highly entertaining read! I had plenty of moments where I was laughing hysterically.
I liked Cassie, but John stole my heart! Seriously, could he get any sweeter?! I was all in for them as a couple. They had such great chemistry! I loved their inner dialogues when they were both talking to their intimates! Cassie really frustrated me when she was judging John by the way he looks. She assumed him to be a certain way and a certain type of person. I did love that their was a role reversal for the person that ended up doing the groveling!

A Chance At Forever Love –
Book three in the Heartbreakers Series, is a real page turner, with a great storyline, interesting characters and mind blowing chemistry. I was so engrossed in the story, that it was hard for me to put it down once I started reading it. Just relax in a quiet corner with a glass of wine and enjoy one hell of a ride.

Cassie and Johnathan’s enemies to lovers romance was the perfect way to finish up the Heartbreakers series. Tension, drama, emotion, humor, temptation and desire are blended into an intoxicating brew that sneaks up on you and has you suffering from a major case of “The Feels”. John was such a great guy and in my opinion, he was very swoon worthy. Cassie I liked but I can’t say I was always a fan of her actions or her petulant attitude (even if sometimes I could sympathize). In spite of that, I really enjoyed this book. I am electing to post a candid review.
This was a wickedly funny rom-com!! I was hoping that Cassie would also get an HEA since Rin and Aria had gotten theirs. The miss communications between these 2 are so awkward that you feel bad for them. You actually feel all that confusion and angst. But then you feel the steam, love and the rightness of it all. At the end, they both have their HEA and you feel so. Good about it!! Loved it

This is the third story in the Heartbreakers series. After reading all three, I can honestly say that this was my favorite! They do not have to be read in order as Lindsey Hart does a nice job of incorporating characters and story-lines from the other books without you feeling like you missed something. Having said that, I would still recommend reading all of them!
The title may be a little misleading. Although the heroine, Cassie, is infact, the bosses daughter, there was never a time when anyone threatened the hero, John, or even gently reminded him to stay away. In fact, the parents/bosses did nothing but sing John’s praises.
I loved the way Hart wrote the two main characters. They were “real”. There were a lot of realistic “awkward” moments that people can have when a relationship is new. Their first time together did not have them “seeing fireworks” as so many romance stories do. I don’t want to give anything away but I will say that Hart made their encounters fun. It was easy to picture these two together: nervous, shy, acting weird, etc. It just made me like them all the more. I caught myself smiling and laughing throughout the story. Hart also does a great job of bringing the “3 friends” (from the other books in the series) together. Their text messages were a riot!
I would definitely recommend My Boss’s Forbidden Daughter as well as the others in the series!

Cassie and John made a great couple with playful sparring and quick sarcastic banter. Cassie and her parents own a lucrative business of grocery stores when the very gorgeous, John comes in to fill her step brother’s job for a year. Cassie is very spunky and outspoken and as she sizes Jon up, she assumes him to be a cocky player, and she gives him a very bad time. He really is a nice guy that puts up with a lot from her , and is able to hold his own. Her own insecurities and trust issues nearly cost her HEA.
All in all, a most enjoyable read.

Cassie has watched her two sisters by another mister find their soul mates and move on. “Why can’t I find anything but users?” she asks? Next, when the family business tries to replace Lucas, Cassie is nothing but antagonistic towards the man that they hire, Jonathan. Are the feelings because she misses Lucas or is there something else there that’s making her a royal pain? This is a funny, realistic adventure that shows the many sides of three very different young ladies trying to find themselves in the real world.

The third book in the series finds Cassie having mixed emotions about the new guy who is filling in for her step brother Lucas at the grocery chain while he and Aria are gone. Cassie doesn’t want to have lustful feelings for John, but she just cannot help it and the hilarity ensues. It’s a roller-coaster ride of emotions for the two as they navigate their feelings and there may be a few pickles in the mix, but this is a great read. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
I laughed my head off. This was a great book; a funny and touching read. Cassie and John are so cute together. Unfortunately, Cassie has been hurt badly in past relationships and finds it hard to trust John. With advice from her two best friends, she is able to move forward with her life and allow John to be a part of it. There are several laugh-out-loud moments in the book that shouldn’t be missed. I highly recommend reading this book soonest.
