I wasn’t expecting this book to be so funny, but boy, was I wrong! I laughed throughout the whole book. The relationship and banter between Cassie and John was fabulous. I typically enjoy enemies to lovers stories, and this one didn’t disappoint, that’s for sure. Great, great book!

4 1/2 stars I really been enjoying reading this series and this story about Cassie and Johnathan was a entertaining read. John comes to replace Cassie’s brother job which she resents but is attracted to him and John was smitten when he first saw her. The dialog between them and the romance was engaging which made this a delight to read. Overall John is a likable guy and Cassie is dealing with trust issues which makes her prickly and quick to judgement. Will her insecurities tear them apart? The pickle reference was …. you just have to read it. This is a great addition to this series. I volunteer to read and review his ARC via Booksprout and the author.
John has his hands full being patient with Cassie. As cute and such a sweet man, Cassie pushes him away as much as she can. The chemistry between them is sweet. The characters are engaging. They worked out their difference.

I love this author but I could not connect with the characters or this story. Cassie was confused and jumped easily to conclusion without talking it through. The story had potential but lacked substance.

Cassie works at her parent’s grocery stores in the capacity of the corporate offices. She owns shares in them as well. Her stepbrother and his girlfriend left to do other things…so the parents hired someone new for the position. His name is Jonathon and he is HOT!! It has been a while for her and so many mishaps occur…it will leave you ROFL with tears in your eyes! I have never read a book with the two main leads having so many occurrences happen just trying to hook up! Oh, my words~ It is a quirky, warm-hearted fun humorous fast read and romance. You will absolutely LOVE it! I received this via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.
A cute story of love. We have Cassie who works for her families store. John comes in to work for her family in place of a family member. She does not want him there. Johns attracted to her and loves the banter. What is she really feeling for him? Can she go for another relationship. What will John do go for it or will the chance for losing his job make him not go for it? He so would love to go for her?

I thought My Boss’s Forbidden Daughter was okay read, I just didn’t care for Cassie at all. She seemed so mean and she couldn’t let go of the past. I think I would of liked John more if he wasn’t so wimpy and let her treat him that way. I did laugh at the the besties texts. This is the first story I have read of Lindsey Hart, and it didn’t make a good impression to me, with that being said I always give authors more than one chance, because as we all know we love/hate some stories.
I just could not get into this book.
Cassie was really annoying and immature especially for being 31. Seriously, she was just outright mean to John for no reason.
And John, while not bad, was just kinda there and wimpish. Not at all like he was being portrayed in the very beginning.
And the pickle thing got annoying.

You want a fun loving, feel good, and something about pickles book to read? This is the book for you. I could tell you all about the pickles but what would be the fun in that. Sort of remind you of the fifty shades of gray with the texting but this was with friends not a love interest. Although, Cassie hated that her brother was being replaced by the Johnathan in the family grocery business she learn to live with it. Their chemistry was off the chart. Will she give Johnathan a chance? He really is a good guy. Cassie is so use to dealing with loser that she do not see a good guy right in her face. This is a laugh out loud book. Having a mother that thinks her ovaries are dying, Cassie wanted to tell her mother being in a room with Johnathan that they are firing on all cylinders in two point two seconds. You will start laughing right after the first few pages. This is a must read!

This was a fun, comedic and witty book. I loved Cassie and John. I will never look at pickles the same now. No spoilers. Can’t wait to read the authors next book.

The storyline was well written and the characters were so well rounded that as I turned each and every page I felt like Cassie and Johnathan pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
I was fortunate enough to receive an invitation to participate in this ARC, so I willingly accepted.
I couldn’t understand Cassie’s animosity toward John, or what seemed to be an unhealthy fixation on her stepbrother, who was now married to one of her besties??? The stepbrother had left the family business to pursue some philanthropic interest with his new wife, but Cassie seemed to despise the fact that John was filling her brother’s shoes. This whole mindset left me perplexed, as the position had to be filled by someone.
I also wasn’t a fan of Cassie being a biyatch, repeatedly, hurting and embarrassing John, and he just kept coming back for more! Cassie seemed to show little remorse for her actions and John kept chasing after her, despite her strobe light emotions and actions.
Once you got a fair way into the story things eventually settled down to a better storyline.

This book is fantastic! The story of John and Cassie is heartwarming, funny, hot and steamy! They meet when he is hired to temporarily replace her stepbrother, Lucas, at her parent’s company. She tries to hate him. He gorgeous and sexy and she’s sure he’s a jerk. But time starts to prove her wrong. They end up starting to see each other and things seem to be going well until her friend Rin pays her a visit and gives her some advice. Rin warns her to be careful so she’s not hurt like she’s been in the past and before you know it, Cassie is doubting everything about John and pulling away. A heartbreaking talk in the office sends him away. Another conversation with her best friends make Cassie realize her mistake and sends her back to John, asking for forgiveness and hoping for a second chance. She gets one and the two begin their journey to their happily ever after.

This is the third book in the Heartbreakers series, but can be read as a standalone. A romantic comedy about Cassie and John.
John is hired to take Cassie’s brother’s place after he decides to take a year off. Cassie does not like John at first and thinks he’s a player. She’s kind of mean to him even though he’s actually a nice guy. Their banter is fun and a bit sarcastic. Cassie has some issues to work through, but with some advice, she’s able to have a good relationship with John.
As usual, this one by Lindsey Hart had me laughing out loud so many times … and I love that! Both Cassie and John are characters that stay with you long after you finish the book. They’re smart, complicated and both so funny … John because he has a dry, understated sense of humor and Cassie because she was acting like a total idiot! That kept me reading just to see how these two would navigate working together. John is completely baffled and confused about Cassie’s reaction to him and Cassie has no clue either but the reader has a front row seat to the inner dialog and accompanying chaos. It isn’t long before the readers realize that John is a REALLY good guy and Cassie needs to just take a big breath and let things between them play out. The confusion and angst that brings them both to the point where they realize how hot they are for each other was a joy to read. The ensuing steamy encounters and romance takes the reader along on their journey to their HEA. I highly recommend this book.

Cassie, comes from a wealthy family and works for her mom and Bill. Her brother also worked for the company but went to Columbia with her best friend Aria, so her parents interviewed for his position. Johns first day didn’t start to good as Cassie spilled coffee all of his shirt. Accidently, mind you. But it didn’t stop there with the both of them. It was always a tug of war, Cassie just needed to move from the past. After one day; it all clicked into place.

Lindsey Hart brings us another fabulous story with fantastic characters with amazing chemistry along with a awesome storyline. The story flows well and will keep your attention from the very beginning! I could picture and feel the emotions of the characters as their story unfolded. The secondary characters are just as important as the main ones and really brings this book to another level. I would totally recommend this book to all romance readers out there!! Can’t wait to read another book by this fabulous and amazing talented author. Happy reading everyone!!
What an enjoyable ride! It’s interesting how Cassie’s confident competence is rattled by John’s presence. This particular story feels like a therapy session. Sometimes we, like Cassie, have to get out of our own way.

Between Rin, Aria and Cassie, who would of thought Cassie would be the aggressor in this situation. I love that she is the soft spoken one and never causes trouble, but with meeting John she completely loses her cool and possibly her mind. There are so many emotions and lol moments I can’t pick my favorite. You don’t want to miss this book it is such a great addition to this series.
