Lucas Dawson is the genius of the family business, brokering deals and making millions, but he’s a philanthropist at heart and he and Aria have gone on an adventure to build a company that helps others. Johnathan Thatcher is hired to fill his spot while they’re gone, but Cassie is not really happy about it. The reason wasn’t immediately clear, but she resented him. Nevertheless, she was unmistakably drawn to him, but she had a strange problem. If she wanted to kiss him, she got mad at John! If she thought “he is so handsome,” she got mad and called him a player. It was difficult to follow her moods without getting whiplash! John was a saint to put up with her erratic behavior that was frequently just mean. Once she got beyond the fear that was still causing her to react so poorly with men, she was ready to commit to a future with John. The epilogue showed a much softer, more mature side to Cassie, and I finally grew to like her. Farewell to the Heartbreakers!
What a amazing book from Lindsay Hart. It is so funny your sides will hurt, it shocking to the point your eye will popping out, there will be times you will just want to face palm and shake your head.
This Cassie’s story of how she finds her heart through the mess. Cassie is to be the reasonable one among her, Rin and Aira, but when John comes into her life with his buns of titanium and all his hotness, Cassie looses her cool. John is either a saint or just enjoys torture, because they way Cassie behave would make a weaker man run for the hill. I love how both character are far from perfect and suave, that not only do they make mistakes ( and some of them big) that they are not afraid to get down and dirty and fix the problem.
I truly enjoyed this book, and did not want to put it down that I took an second I had between things to keep reading.

This is the third book in the Heartbreakers Series by Lindsey Hart which is an enemies to lovers romance. It features Cassie, the boss’s daughter who thinks John is a player, and John, who was hired to fill in for her brother while he is taking a year off from the business. Sparks fly from the first moment they meet. I highly recommend this fantastic book with its realistic and well developed characters and an amazing plot with lots of banter, humor, and sizzling chemistry.

This is a good story but I had a hard time with Cassie and I just didn’t connect with the character. I loved John and how patient he was but I wish he would have stood up to her a bit more. Other than that the storyline is good and the ending was okay.
Cassis and John are great together. They both have a past very hurtful past but honesty is always the best and this book is just great. If you want. to read a funny and happy story then look no further, this hits all the funny and then some.

A really fun light-hearted book! I thought the characters of both Cassie and Jonathan were well-written and had a good amount of depth in this romantic comedy. I have enjoyed each of the books in this series that I have read. It hit just the right tone for me!

Really enjoyed this fun, sexy, forbidden and action packed adventure filled with engaging and relatable charters, witty dialog, exciting twists and thrilling passion that burns hot and fast. Great read that had me on the edge of my seat form beginning to end.
Entertaining and interesting characters tell an engaging story. Complex issues when love involves the boss’s daughter. Love a good romance and following the journey of the characters. Good read.

what would you do if you find out that your but can they keep there hands off each other and leave it strictly business? This book will suck you in and hooked until the end.
** spoiler alert ** “It’s always the haters that fall the hardest”. Cassie is upset that her parents hired someone to take her brothers place. Especially since that someone is a really HOT guy. What were her parents thinking when they hired him. John took the temporary position knowing he had big shoes to fill. He believes in the company’s philosophy. There’s a reason he was hired, he’s good at his job. Cassie doesn’t know why she’s being so rude to him, but she can’t help it. John is making every attempt to get her to like him. When he finally gives up, he is shocked when Cassie comes to his office dressed seductively. Like all their other encounters, this one ends in a disaster. Will they finally be able to have a relationship despite their disastrous beginning?
This is book three in the Heartbreakers series. This is Johnathan and Cassie’s story. How do you hate and yet are attracted to the same person? That is how Cassie feels about Johnathan but he is determined to make her see only the attraction part. I have read the first two books in this series and I felt that this book was not the same Cassie character. I understand that one can portray a different outlook or attitude between friends and family then a potential significant other but this was a little farther than I like. Not Cassie’s finest moments but still made for an exciting story. I cannot wait to see what else is in store next and the little updates that the author includes on the previous book couples.

This is an easy to read office romance. It centers around Cassie, a woman that works for her parents grocery chain and John a new hire replacing her stepbrother. Apparently, John is seriously hot and Cassie doesn’t know how to deal with that. Her behavior was over the top and unprofessional. She wouldn’t even try to be civil. John is a great guy that is inexplicably attracted to her. It’s a rocky road to put it mildly on the way to their happily ever after.
A One-sided Enemies to Lovers story
Cassie is mean & spiteful when John is filling in for a year in her brother’s position in the family business. With the way this book started, I wondered why Cassie was being this way towards the new guy when he didn’t do anything wrong. Don’t despair as it becomes clearer further into the story. Jumping to conclusions, misinterpreting what John says & overdue in getting laid seems to be her issues. A very entertaining story, all in the name of the almighty pickle link! Read & enjoy this story as it is very different. Funny & there will be chuckles & smiles of the silliness of Cassie & John along their path in finding a HEA.

I loved Cassie so much, some of the things she thought and said are so off the wall, I loved it. John was able to learn her tells early on in their relationship. I loved their chemistry and everything with the pickles.

Cassie, a normally sane, likable person is driven to act like a crazy biotch while trying to fight her massive attraction to Johnathan, her new co-worker. Poor John! He’s only guilty of being hot as hell and equally attracted. Luckily, he’s very forgiving. This funny, sexy romance is a very enjoyable read.

Although the chemistry between Cassie and John was hot, but due to Cassie’s previous relationships, she continuously rebuffs him. Dialogue between the two was so funny and entertaining. Good story with strong and memorable characters. Good read!

Pickles anyone? Love it! This story is about Cassie and John. The past couple of stories have been about Cassie’s two best friends Rin and Aria. Rin is with Aiden and Aria is with Lucas, Cassie’s stepbrother. Now John is hired to take over Luca’s position and well this is where Cassie falls in love. John is hot but is shy and Cassie believes he is full of himself at the beginning. Cassie is a hoot with her cursing, this is one part of the book that you will love along with everything she does. The funny thing about this book is PICKLES. John is set out to make sure Cassie understand that he is in it for a long run not just a one-night stand, but OMG – these two are too much. I love the texts between the girls as they tell it how it is and the emojis is too much! Lindsey did a great job with all three books; it would be nice if there is an extended epilogue with all three couples and a lot of mishaps. I don’t want to give much away on this book, but one thing to note, pay attention to pickles in the toilet – the funniest chapter, besides the industrial pack that Cassie brings to John.

It took me a minute to get into this book. It was all over the place. The characters wer great but the story was muddled. I found it to be funny. The character interaction was great. Over all this was an okay book.
