It is the third book in the series. I really enjoyed the first two books, but this one just was not as satisfying. Cassie in the other two was completely different then the one we got in this book. She was portrayed as nice , and sweet, but in this book she was mean, rude and even borderline hostile. I understand her being hurt and wanting to be cautious, who could blame her for that, but I just could not get behind her taking it out on John. That really just ruined the book for me personally, even if she did apologize, make it up to him and got a happy ending for them.
Regardless of that there was some funny moments that had me laughing.

What a fantastic new book from Lindsey Hart. Cassie wants to hate John-a new hire in her family company, first and foremost for taking her brother’s job and secondly because she assumes the worst about him. John is attracted by Cassie hey makes assumptions of his own based on her privilege alone. As these two get to know each other better, they discover not only that their assumptions are wrong, but an attraction that could lead to more. My Boss’s Forbidden Daughter is a witty attraction filled life story that reader will enjoy all the way through. I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every book in this series.

When I left a review for the previous story by Ms Hart I said that I could barely wait to see what she delivered next and I’m happy to say that I was not disappointed by this story.

A sweet and steamy story with a bit of fun and innuendo thrown in. Cassie and John are funny and cute together. This book was a lot of fun. A great read!!
This is funny, if i am not laughing i am grinning.
John and Cassie are clearly smitten with each other right from the start but her fears got in the way.
Her grand gesture was even funny and it ended up as symbolic in their relationship.

The final book in the Heartbreakers series. Cassie has always have bad luck when it comes to dating. She thinks all handsome men are jerks and always have something up their sleeves. John is the person who replaces her stepbrother when he leaves to follow his dream. And Cassie absolutely resents and despises him for that .As these two spend more and more time together the feelings two each other change.
I loved this book! It was funny, whimsical, passionate and sexy. It’s sure to please any rom com lovers in need of a quick fix.

An enjoyable and interesting book three in the Heartbreakers series! Beautifully written, well-developed, and emotionally deep. It is a fast pace, drama-filled, funny, and witty page turner with many ups and downs and emotional back and forth. Amazing characters; the chemistry between them is off the charts. Quite an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series

If you want a laugh out loud enemies to lovers comedy then you need this one. With Lucas Dawson leaving the family business Cassie Dawson and their parents bring on Johnathan Thatcher to fill his spot. Let’s just say water and oil does not mix. This rom-com starts with a Coffee explosion, Pooptastrophe, Pickles, Wrecked clothes, Smoking and smoldering scenes and did I mention Pickles. It’s a fun story with very intriguing characters and a great ending. Grab it today but please don’t forget the pickles.

She made it almost impossible for him to get close to her. He was a good guy. I didnt see him trying to get over on her. They were kind of obvious to everyone whether they knew it or not. Luckily, she has good friends that want to see her happy. She had to get over her past and admit that it hurt a lot but he is not that guy.

Sparks fly between Johnathon and Cassie from the moment they meet. Johnathon is filling in for her brother temporarily but he wants to do a good job and he is drawn to Cassie even though he fights it. Cassie doesn’t want to like Johnathon but she does. Her friends can tell from her texts that she likes him and try to encourage her to act on the attraction. When things heat up between them Johnathon is confused because he thought Cassie didn’t like him. Can things work out between them?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This book is a lol blockbuster. Lindsey Hart nailed it with this one. This book was Book Three of the Heartbreakers series. Johnathan Thatcher and Cassie Dawson were fantastic characters. John is new to Cassie’s family’s giant chain of grocery stores. Cassie thinks John is sex on a stick gorgeous and the hottest man she’s ever seen. In fact, she makes up in her mind that anyone as hot as John must be a total jerk or a player. So she starts hating on him for no good reason trying to push his buttons. As Cassie does mean things to John, it makes him want her even more. John wants to prove to Cassie he deserves a chance or he may die trying. This book is a must read and I highly recommend.
Will Cassie being the bosses daughter stop Jonathan from falling for each other? I had a great time finding out. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline is well written.

Wonderful love story.
Awh I’ve loved all of these books about three best friends & am so glad that they all hit their happy ever after. There was so much chemistry between Cassie & John but the banter they had going on especially about the pickle had me chuckle although there was a time that it looked like Cassie might not get the man of her dreams even when he was standing in front of her. Once I started this book I didn’t want to put it down hoping for Cassie to get her happy ever after like her friends Rin & Aria.

Love on Aisle 3
It didn’t take Johnathan Thatcher long to size up his co-worker and boss’s daughter, Cassie Dawson. Very simply she was “goddess style gorgeous…and harassment lawsuit style off-limits”. He was stupefied by her klutziness when she accidentally drenched him in a cup of hot coffee, but he was more than impressed when a short time after the drenching encounter, he found her amazingly, mop in hand, cleaning up her own mess, and all that was within his first few hours of working with Cassie. What was clear was that while she might be the owner’s daughter and crazy rich, she was no princess.
As far as Cassie was concerned, Johnathan Thatcher’s days were numbered. Hired to replace Lucas Dawson, Cassie’s stepbrother who had recently followed his dream to South America with one of Cassie’s best friends, Aria, to establish a company to promote fair trade products, returning monies and assistance back to the communities of the products, Lucas was coming back. So, even John was built like a god come to earth to be her greatest desire and ultimate distraction, his days were numbered. Cassie could resist his body—she wanted to hate him. But, simply looking at his sculpture-in-an-art-museum-perfect body with its rock-hard butt made her reproductive parts hum. How could she possibly stay focused on her job of managing the accounting office of her family’s successful grocery chain which had linked together a collection of small mom and pop stores, encouraging each to continue to unique qualities to the organization. But, if she knew, day after day, that he—Johnathan—the god come to earth to torment her—was somewhere in the same building, could she stay focused without having a hormonal meltdown? Her only way to move forward until he left was to whisper her internal mantra, “I must resist, I must resist!”
Lindsey Hart’s “My Boss’s Forbidden Daughter” is the third in the Heartbreakers trilogy and is as delightful as the first two volumes. Each romance follows one of the three unique, clever women—friends since age 12 when they were each shipped off to boarding school by parents who really did not have time to parent—as each finds love. The three sisters of different mothers find strength in each other as each begins her journey in search of love and fulfillment. The anchoring love of the of the sisterhood supports each woman as she steps out into the world and into the discovering of the man to whom each can give her heart.
What makes the series especially enjoyable is Hart’s examination and crushing destruction of some of society’s misconceptions of how a woman should act, look and love. Hart lets the readers fully appreciate the criticisms she hurls at a society that forces false values and images on women. She offers the perfect comeback to the false patterns which society, and sometime family, impose on the individual.

My Boss’s Forbidden Daughter
By Lindsey Hart
Main Characters: Cassie and Johnathan
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
3 1/2 out of 5 stars
This is book 3 in the Heartbreakers series. This is an enemy to lover’s romantic comedy. Cassie was not my favorite character at all. I couldn’t see why John put up with it. I also didn’t really care for the humor. I have read other Lindsey Hart books that I liked better. I will continue to read her books.

This is the third book in Heartbreakers Series. A romantic comedy that will keep you laughing. You’ll love Johnathan and Cassie’s enemies to lovers story. This is a great series with each book being a standalone but each of the heroines in the three books are best friends and strong females. She’s forbidden as she’s the boss’s daughter. But temptation and love are powerful forces to be dealt with. Overflowing with drama and chemistry, this book will grab your attention right at the beginning. The back and forth banter between the two will keep you in stitches. A good book that I know you will enjoy. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.
