It’s no secret I’ve always had a crush on Damon Strickland. My best friend’s older brother and the center of every single one of my fantasies. He’s a walking, talking temptation. That cocky grin and those broad, athletic shoulders. You know what they say about a man with big hands right?Growing up, we always tormented one another.I was the nagging, annoying little girl he hatedAnd he was the … little girl he hated
And he was the man-whoring, douchebag I couldn’t seem to get over.
Now as adults he actually came through and helped me land a job at my dream company.
How the hell am I supposed to focus when all I can think about is tearing that tight suit from his tempting body!
What’s even worse?
He forgot to mention he’s my boss.

I thoroughly enjoyed Jazz and Damon’s story. It’s sweet and sexy and full of feeling. Seeing their relationship grow from frenemy with a crush to lovers made it all the more worthwhile.
I don’t think I will be able to express in writing how much I loved this book. A great start to J. P. Comeau’s new series Tall, Dark and Handsome Billionaires. I actually sighed when I finished this book. Don’t remember ever doing that before. Chase was the most romantic and sexy character ever. Margo was the most generous and innocent character ever. Ginger was the most annoying and loving baby sister to Chase. Jorge was the biggest billionaire playboy who just so happened to be Chase’s business partner. These characters were impeccably written into the story of love at first site and what happens after that. Really loved this book!!
I received this pre-release book from the author free in exchange for my honest review of the book.
I really enjoyed this book and loved Jazmine and Damon’s story. It captivated me from the beginning and left me with a smile. I look forward to more books in the series.
When your hearts fall in love at five and eight what can you possibly do but fight against it especially when she’s your youngest sister’s best friend. That’s exactly what happened to Jazzy and Damon. Not only were they next door neighbors their commonality was Damon’s sister, Maddie. As the trio ages Demon becomes the two girl’s self proclaimed protector and defender. Jazzy had to watch him parade all kinds of girls that she felt she could never aspire to be in there realm of excellence in beauty.
However, looking back he had them to deflect from what he truly wanted which was her. Knowing the family and Maddie in particular made. Making it hard on the both of them. On the other had doing this to piss off Damon came easily especially when you have a free friend like, Maddie to lead you down the broken trail of independence.
When Damon lends a hand getting Jazzy a job within his company she join with great joy. Yet, when she arrives she’s annoyed, feeling like once again Damon is not taking her serious and pranking her. She finds out that Damon omitted the fact that she will not be coming up through the normal ranks stepping in as Damon’s P.A. Are things in the pass really the way they remember it? Or were they feeling overly sensitive not being seen and truly acknowledge by the other?
Those remain to be seen, but I can tell you this, the does the POV in the moment of what is happening around them. Not just thoughts but in conversation with one another. No light questioning here the ask the tough one to have the one that had hurt your heart back then and now it needs and wants answers. Not sure how I felt about Maddie. In comparison to rest of the feel of their the story she is negative. Sexual content.
I give this: 5 ++++ stars. Found free on Amazon
What’s not to love about this book. So interesting and a page turner. I recommend it
A really enjoyable read that kept me company whilst I couldn’t sleep. This is a new to me author and I’ve now read two of her books, which I’ve enjoyed. I’ll definitely be checking out what else she has written!
4 stars for My Best Friends Brother by Alexis Winter. This is book 1 in the Make Her Mine Series. Jazz has always had a crush on Damon. Now Jazz is working for Damon, and Damon is finally ready to admit his feeling for Jazz. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. The two of them together is sweet and adorable. I loved them and their family’s reaction. This is a short and cute read. Great work from Alexis Winter.
I loved Damon and Jazz. A good enemies-to-lovers romance that has you wanting more. It’s complicated for Damon and Jazz but their attraction comes to a head pretty quick and I couldn’t put it down. It’s funny and sexy.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Couldn’t put this book down. Highly recommend
I highly recommend this book. It’s so amazing, you won’t want to put it down!
Great read. Kept me wrapped up in the book
This is a fun, exciting, emotional read. They were friends that do what kids do when they are young. Love each other and torment each other with pranks and such. But her feelings for him never went away. He went his own direction and she had to go hers. She ends up working for him later but still has those feelings. Now what? I highly recommend this. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
I loved everything about this book!!! I loved the memories of their past, text messages, teasing, etc.
He was seven and she was five when they met. As they grew up she had a crush on him and she was nothing but his sisters best friend that is until they were adults. Damon has always looked out for Jazz so when she needs a job after graduating he gets her one at his company but doesn’t tell her he will be her boss. Once she is there he starts to see her in a different way and realizes that maybe he has had feelings for her all along.
Alexis Winter has done it again!! She has a way to hook you to a story from the very beginning and have you glued to the very end!! You rock girl!!
This is my first Alexis Winter book and I really liked it. Funny and steamy are a great combination and this one gives the reader exactly that. Good characters, good dialogue, good writing. Can’t wait to read more by this author! Highly recommend.
This is a well written story about a childhood crush that she walked away from but then as an adult she has to face it again
Jasmine always had a crush on her brother’s best friend Damon but he never saw her as anything but an annoying little girl that followed them around who he tormented So I knew I had to forget about him and move on so I did. Now I have a new job and the worst thing is that Damon is my new boss in fact he got me the job How will I stop myself from falling in love with him all over again and god help me when he starts to feel the same attraction.
This is a great fun read that flowed well and brought back memories of all those childhood crushed that we all suffered from
For honest review. This is a beautiful story of Jasmine and Damon that grew up together and when they start working together truths come out . Awesome story
What a fun book. Thoroughly enjoyed! Great story line and characters.
