“For a brief moment last night, I’d felt special. Like I mattered. Me. But what really mattered was what I could do for the club.”
This is a brand new series (and author) for me, and I have to say I’m not disappointed. I LOVE MC stories. It’s the combination of supremely protective and loyal men, the independent and outspoken women that take care of them, and the feeling of family surrounding it all. The Dragon Runners had all of this!
Betsey and Brick! I more than love them! Betsey is #goals for me when as I get older, and Brick is everything I could ever want as a patriarch! These two lead the Dragon Runners and have a group of men SO loyal that I wish I could be a part of it. When Kat gets pulled into the club with her new job, she’s met with a group of men she’s never encountered before.
One of those men is Mute, and just like his name, he is a man who doesn’t speak. Although he has his reasons why he doesn’t talk, that doesn’t mean he has nothing to say. His loyalty runs deep and he tries to do the best thing for everyone, even when it might hurt him the most. Mute proved that he was totally worth everything Kat was willing to give.
“He loves long and he loves hard and he loves complete, but he doesn’t love easy.”
This story had action from the club, some mystery, romance, and all the feelings you need to make a complete story. I’m now 100% invested in EVERYONE in this club. I can’t wait for the next installment, because I’m thinking there’s more to Stud than meets the eye.
I enjoyed this story, it was a unique take on an MC alpha male character. The story was well written and I enjoyed all the characters. The MC was on the softer side as were the characters. There was action and some roughness, but it felt sweeter then a hard dark story.
The author did an amazing job with Mute. For the most part I did not miss the fact tgat ge could not speak. I loved how Kat dealt with that and hiw it impacted their relationship, or didn’t as the case may be. I would have liked more relationship time with this couple. It took quite awhile for them to get together (70% in), and then the action escalated. Not a bad thing, just would have liked more. Also, and I think thus is because Mute didn’t speak, I didn’t really feel any connection to him ir hus love for Kat. I knew it was there, I experienced it, just didn’t feel it. I did tear up a few times, so I did connect with Mackie.
I heard so much about thus book, that I decided to give it a try and I am glad tgat I did. I will continue to read this series and from this author.
I just found a new MC series to follow. The Dragon Runners have gone legit trying to make it by doing things the legal way. This is a tight knit family with the Prez’s wife, Betsey the real leader who stands by her man. Brick runs a tight ship but there is someone who is trying to sabotage the club.
Betsey brought Kat into the club family because she seen something in her that made her want to reach out and help this girl by giving her a job at the club owned bar. The story of Mute and Kat is one of struggles. Kat seems to be the only woman who can reach Mute in his closed off world.
Mute is the beginning of this series and if the rest are like this one I will be waiting anxiously to see what comes next for the Dragon Runners MC.
This is the first book for this author and she is awesome. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out.
LOVED this book! A must-read.
This one was kind of predictable as far as MC books go. I did like the characters and the storyline, tho.
I’m in love with Mute/Alec.
Loved this book!
WOW I debated on getting this book. I was afraid it would be cookie cutter or cut and paste from other MC Romance books. I am happy to say that I really enjoyed this book. Not only do you come to care about the main characters but the secondary characters. These characters are real. The secondary characters really make the book. They are the glue. I didn’t like that the main characters were as well rounded. You care for them but you don’t feel for them as much as the secondary characters. I think the reason is because the secondary characters are based on people the author knows and cares for. This is discovered in the Author’s Note at the end. Still a good read. I enjoyed it.
Great read
Thoroughly enjoyed the romance in this one.
Good story
More violence than I would prefer but still worth reading.
Who doesn’t love a scary biker with a backstory and a heart?! Kay is likable Ana relatable , smart and funny. Mute stole me heart. Their story will melt your heart…
This was a great story. One of those that you start reading and then two hours later you wonder where the time went. The characters were well developed and the author really draws you in.
I’m a little bummed the second book.ahsnt come out yet, but it’s a definite read when it does.
Awesome debut and great start to a new series.
Read this book in one sitting. Couldn’t put it down.
Love Mute!! This series is going to be amazing and really can’t wait for Stud’s book.
