Shelby Walsh is struggling to make ends meet. She spends her days doing singing telegrams for extra cash, but she never expected to be sent out to perform for the world’s most famous composer. And definitely not in a skimpy Greek goddess outfit. How is she supposed to keep it together when every part of her is screaming for him to take her?Theo Hayes is a recluse. He just wants to be left alone … left alone to work on his next big movie score. He’s even grumpier than usual because he’s in a bit of a rut. But when his brother sends him a singing telegram for inspiration, he finds his muse and plans to never let her go. Keeping her for his very own is the only option.

This was another great story! I actually read Starlet first. Loved the storyline and the hot, sexy times! Theo was So instantly smitten and his Muse was also. Great chemistry and completely safe.
If your looking for an instahot quick number, this one is for you.
Shelby is a struggling singer who gets sent to Theo’s house to deliver a singing telegram. From the moment Theo sees her, he knows she’s the one. Not only in his work but also his life. Theo is a man who goes from 0-60 when he meets her and all he wants to do is claim her and put a baby in her belly.
I couldn’t put this book down. The chemistry between these two were hot. I loved that they were able to collaborate on many different things.
Alexa Riley is normally a must read for me; however, this one missed the mark. The plot, such as it was, just crawled. I lost interest in it and almost didn’t finish it.
My goodness. Alexa and Fiona have knocked this one out of the ballpark. I’ve never read Fiona before. I really loved this book.
This was an awesome story that made me happy. I’ve read it several times and it’s one of my favorites. Recommend!
This book has the best of both worlds.
Fiona Davenport duo and the Alexa Riley duo. Both pairs are all about the alpha male, instalove, fun, juicy smut.
In Muse Theo’s brother hires a singing telegram to try to get his creative music juices flowing. Shelby is the telegram singer but neither of them are prepared for the intense attraction
Muse has everything you love about AR’s writing. Insta-love, an OTT Alpha Hero, a sweet innocent heroine and lots of sexy times with an HEA.
Theo is a composer and he is currently dealing with writers’ block so what better way to help him break through than a muse, or so his brother thought. One look and listen to Shelby and he was done for.
Shelby is struggling to make ends meet with her singing telegram job but at least she is getting to sing. Singing is her passion and all she wants to do even if it is in skimpy outfits to strangers at their door. Her life is about to change when she is assigned to sing for Theo, the world famous composer.
Loved this book and can’t wait for Austin’s story.
I’m really digging the result of the two author duos teaming up – I really enjoyed Muse! Theo is intense and growly and instantly obsessed with his little muse and Shelby is cute as can be. I love that even though she is young and inexperienced, she’s not portrayed as helpless or needy – she’s super talented in her own right and she’s not afraid to speak her mind when Theo’s alpha tendencies go overboard. At the same time she embodies a desire that I think many women share: that of wanting to be taken care of, not because we need it, but because it’s nice. Muse is a fast, sexy, well-paced and well-balanced read and I can’t wait to dive in to Starlet! I hope that these four talented ladies decide to collaborate again in the future. 4 out of 5 wine glasses.
It was the perfect Alexa Riley read, a possessive alpha and his feisty half.
From the moment he sets his eyes on her, he knows she is the one and only. He turns all Prince Charming and caveman too.
While she accepts to be swept off her feet and spoiled as a princess but fears it will come an end.
No drama, lot of sex and plenty of babies.
You ask, Mrs Alexa Riley delivers.
4.5 stars
Whew! Theo and Shelby’s story was perfect! I loved everything about it! Sweet, hawt and full of so much love! FIVE STARS!!
3.5-3.75 stars. This was a fun read! This Shelby and Theo’s story. Theo is a composer for movie scores, but he is having a creative block. To cheer him up, his brother sends him a singing telegram of a Greek muse, played by aspiring singer, Shelby. Theo takes one look at her and is smitten. She is the muse he’s been imaging in his head for years and he’s going to keep her. I thought the story was very cute and original. I liked the muse aspect a lot. Overall, Muse is a sexy, enjoyable, and easy read.
Alexa Riley and Fiona Davenport are some of my favorite authors but I was skeptical with this one because there’s four authors writing this one story so I was worried it wouldn’t flow nicely. It flows so nicely it’s like one author wrote it, there’s no story line gaps. Theo is on a deadline to write his next movie score but he can’t come up with anything good. He needs a muse to help him get his mojo back. He a little grumpy and very possessive. Shelby is young and just trying to make ends meet. She is a singing telegram person who ends up at Theo’s door. There is an instant connection between them. Their story is sweet and sexy. I liked the interaction in the beginning between Theo and his brother, Austin, so I’m so excited that he gets a story in Starlet by Fiona Davenport
Muse by Alexa Riley and Fiona Davenport was a quick, sexy and very steamy read. Theo Hayes has been in a slump with work. A famous composer, he seems to be in a rut. Something is missing but he was not sure what. Then his brother sends him a singing telegram and changes everything. Shelby Walsh is struggling but determined. The last thing she ever expected was to meet Theo Hayes and have her world change.
Muse was so steamy. Shelby and Theo have an instant connection and strong chemistry. Theo knows Shelby is his and will do anything to keep her. He was possessive and protective and everything we love from Alexa Riley men and this time around we get four authors!
Happy reading!

This collaboration between Alexa Riley and Fiona Davenport promised to be an insta-love worthy read with all the mushy goodness only a possessive alpha hero can give, and boy, did they deliver! If you want a short, sweet, over-the-top read, go ahead and dive into Shelby and Theo’s story, I promise you won’t regret it!
Theo is a grouchy composer stuck in a rut. Shelby is a sweet little thing who comes to his door with a singing telegram. Suddenly, he can hear music again and he knows she is it for him. Alexa Riley is a duo known for their jealous/possessive heroes. Theo is one for the record books and I loved him so much! Shelby is absolutely adorable and I loved seeing her blossom under Theo’s care. These two were absolutely made for each other! I can’t wait to read about Theo’s brother in Starlet! 6 stars for Muse!
I love the idea of these four authors coming together to create a story that is true to all of their styles.
You know when you see the names Alexa Riley and Fiona Davenport that the story is going to be a fun ride, and Muse is exactly that. Steamy, sweet, and a quick read! Theo & Shelby are destined to make beautiful music together & their spark is instantaneous.
I loved Theo’s immediate desire to provide for Shelby. He’s definitely OTT in the way he goes about everything, and that’s what she – and we – fall in love with! : )
If two is better then one, then logic states that four is better then two. In thus case the nath works! This was such a perfect example of both Alexa Riley and Fiona Davenport stories; the perfect balance between hotness and sweetness. Nothing but alpha yummy-ness, sweet love, steamy scenes and a fun plot. Bother’s book is next, I am off to buy and devour it.
