“Lori Foster is a funny, steamy, guaranteed good read! Say YES! to Lori Foster.” –Elizabeth Lowell ANYTHING THAT CAN GO WRONG. . . Nothing is going to go wrong. Ashley Miles has worked too hard for her independence to let some Bentley-driving hunk named Quinton Murphy interfere with her plans—or her freedom. Yes, the chemistry is phenomenal. Kind of scary, actually. But that’s it. NO … actually. But that’s it. NO emotional commitments.
. . .WILL
But he’s SO wonderful—a woman could fall in love . . . How did that happen? That wasn’t part of the plan! But can she trust him? Really trust him? The man is just so mysterious. There’s only one solution: put it all on the line and see what Quinton does when she tells him how she feels. And hope everything that can go wrong. . .won’t. . .

This is book 2 in this series. It started out a little slow and took me a few chapters to get into it. I enjoyed Ashley and Quentin’s story. Ashley is very independent and from a poor upbringing and Quentin rich and has it all. Two different world collide creating some fun and great chemistry.
If you read book 1 you’ll have a better understanding …
Murphy’s Law was my first Lori Foster romance many years ago and it has led me to so many wonderful love stories by this talented author. Everything she writes seems to have the perfect, natural ingredients of love. Never a disappointing moment! When I need an escape, and a happily ever after kind of day, she’s a go to author.
My first Lori Foster book. Easy to read, captivating characters, and steamy interludes. It made me laugh.
One of my favorite Lori foster books. Judes law is number one.
Love Lori foster!
Love all of her books….page turners…
Love her books. No matter the genre, she always entertains.
I usually really like Lori Foster, but this one was sort of a whirl of unrealistic characters. I liked the lead female but the rest…eh. Not going to finish this on.
Ashley longs for stability, she wants the house, money in the bank, a good job, the whole works, and most of the time women want the man to go along with it, but not Ashley, she is determined to do it on her own. She is working two jobs, going to college, and has little time for much of anything else, and to be honest she kind of likes it that …
I enjoy the way the characters personalities are described and how they interact and change. Its real, believable, touching, yes, funny, and a family people you would love to meet.
Good story, likeable characters. Enjoyed the storyline of spoiled, rich kid having to learn what make most people have to deal with day in and day out. A bit of poetic justice. Isn’t there always more to life than whay our own little world shows? It can make a difference in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in.
It was a fun romance book!
Didn’t love it….didn’t hate it…didn’t even dislike it. Murphy’s Law had some good ideas but they just didn’t play out well for me. The premise of the book is a father who wants his son to start adulting instead of continuing his partying and worthless living. Seth, the son, is a spoiled rich boy who has had everything handed to him throughout his …
So many things to realize and wonderful things that happened. a delightful read
It was a fun book to read.
maybe I shouldn’t count this is finished, because I really only got about a third of the way in before I decided it was too stupid and it was hurting my brain. I deleted it to free up space on my iPhone.
It’s a wonderful book. I was pleasantly surprised by it
Fun read
Great story, romantic. But we also got to see him grow, as he’s forced to do real work that impacts more than just himself.
Loved it could not wait to read second book
