This one is full of twists and turns. You never know what is going to happen next. I admit I don’t get how Summer got to be proficient in managing her gift but I have a good excuse for it…. My brain power is only at 50% since I inhaled the fumes from the fire in my kitchen. Even so I was delighted to have this book to help me laugh and forget.
I just got back from another fun visit to the town of Wonder Springs. This one was my favorite in the series so far! As usual for this author, it’s an entertaining story with unique and memorable characters. But in this one, I felt he did an especially beautiful job with the language, choosing just the right words in each scene to get the right mood across or foreshadow events to come. I had assumed this would be the final book in the series, but when I got to the end, I was happy to discover that our friends’ adventures aren’t over. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Wonder Springs!
Wonder Springs takes Summer and Tina on a wild ride again when there is a mysterious death of the owner of the vineyard and Tina gets accused of the murder. Can Summer with her secret power help Tina, who is an empath who often gets overwhelmed with all the feelings she feels from people. This book has more twists and turns and had me changing my mind a dozen time about who committed the murder. I couldn’t read it fast enough to find out if I was right or wrong and then when I finished the book I was sad that I had read it so fast. It was a wonderful book and this series just keeps getting better and better. Now I have to wait until the next one is written and out.
Another great novel in this series. Dante returns to Wonder Springs to get married and invites all his ex girlfriends to the wedding. Dante gets murdered. Tina is a suspect in the murder. Summer Sassafrass uses her psychic powers to try to prove Tina did not do this crime. Great characters and twists and turns. A surprise ending to keep you entertained.
Murder with a Psychic Kiss by B.T. Alive is another wonderful addition to the cozy Wonder Springs Mystery series. Get ready for mystery, magic and murder with a mixture of characters that keep you coming back for more. Bill Alive’s cozy mystery series creates an environment filled with magic, mystery, mayhem, and a touch of love.
When Tina was fourteen, she fell in love with a forty year old lothario and she’s never forgotten him. Now, Dante Radcliff has not only had the nerve to return to Wonder Springs, but he’s getting married, and inviting all his exes, including Tina to the wedding. Our happy, charming and loving Tina is out of control and Summer is trying hard to keep her busy and away from the wedding venue. When the venue is destroyed, Tina is a suspect. Then when Daniel disappears, Tina is arrested. As Summer starts investigating to help her BFF and cousin, the more suspects she discovers.
But there are more hidden layers floating under the stormy waters that surround Wonder Springs that could endanger all our main characters, maybe even all of Wonder Springs itself.
I did receive an advance copy from the author, and this is my honest reviewew of this book. I’d recommended this 5-star cozy for fans of mystery, paranormal adventure, or just fun stories
This series definitely grows on you, the first couple of books were very good, but this third book is the best so far. As with all of this author’s books it is rather humorous and silly, but this overlays a genuinely interesting and well written mystery. Of course the paranormal aspects also helps to spice this series up as well.
One of the most important aspects of any novel, regardless of genre is the characters, and there are lots of very solidly written characters in this series, and they are developed further in this book, especially Summer (the main character) who makes a very exciting breakthrough towards the end of the book. I also really enjoy the first person narration, which adds another dimension to the series.
In this book I thought that the idea of a man inviting all his exes to his wedding was a very clever plot idea, and led to all sorts of possibilities for the motive for his killing and also who exactly was involved.
I did receive an advance copy of this book, but have voluntarily written this honest review.
A man is murdered in Wonder Springs and Summer’s cousin and best friend, Tina is the number one suspect. But Tina is not the only suspect on the list no there are a whole passel of women on that list. This man had a lot of ex’s from his past and either one of them probably had a reason to kill him or at least want to. But did they? Which one killed this man? Or was it one of his ex’s?
Murder with a Psychic Kiss was a warm, cozy and swimmingly fun read. It had me from the summary. I loved all the characters and all their special abilities. Murder with a Psychic Kiss had me on the edge of my seat trying to guess whodunit as each secret and twist were revealed as I raced to the end to see how it would turn out.
There were twists after twists and there was this one big twist and I was left with my month hanging open like what? No way but yes way. Murder with a Psychic Kiss had me in suspense the whole way trying to figure out whodunit.
I highly recommend Murder with a Psychic Kiss to all fans of murder, mystery and fun reads. One click yourself a copy today!
Sweet, charming cousin Tina is angry. Indignant. Furious. Because Dante Radcliff has not only had the nerve to return to Wonder Springs, but he’s getting married. And inviting all his ex-girlfriends, of which Tina was one a decade ago, when she was in high school and he was in his forties. Now she’s been roped into folding napkins for the reception by Glynis Beverley, who pulls double duty as Wonder Springs’ wedding planner and funeral director, as Dante and his blushing bride, Lee Lanner, pose for dramatic wedding photos.
Dante, it turns out, is a telempath. He has the ability to direct how others feel, which is why his exes despise him at a distance, but melt into gooey sentiment in his presence. It’s a power he uses to his advantage against others, particularly women … which is why, on the morning of the wedding, there are countless suspects when the vineyard wedding venue on Haven Island is found butchered. Every single grape has been sliced off the vine with devastating accuracy. All his exes are in town, but Tina is the only one who’s gone missing, and Grandma Meredith has had a disturbing dream about death.
It’s certainly not a good time for Summer to discover that Cade isn’t an only child … his sister, Fiona, an ex in town for the wedding, launches her first emotional assault on Summer while towel-drying her hair. Compounding the frustrations Cade and Summer have battled trying to connect and control her Disruptor abilities and his Tuner powers, Fiona expertly wages full-out psychic war on her brother’s girlfriend, using Summer as a punching bag for her own tortured spirit.
It’s hard to believe one man could so badly disrupt bucolic Wonder Springs, where not a chain store lurks and happiness is the natural order. But as Uncle Barnaby rages, Dante is the kind of man who packs his mayhem in a travel bag. “Has the possibility truly not penetrated your narcissistic mind that the avenger who savaged your vineyard may not yet be sated? That you yourself may yet be in danger?”
Unsurprisingly, his question is astonishingly on point, because just a few hours later, Dante turns up dead.
Tension in town ramps up into frenzy as a storm approaches, the river rises and Sheriff Jake worries not only about his son’s physical welfare, but his shifter daughter’s endless paroxysms of fury. And Summer wonders just why vacuous Elaine, in her expensive mismatched outfits and tuned-out mindset, shadows her every step, making even more of a nuisance of herself than usual.
What she, and all the residents of Wonder Springs, are about to realize is that the stakes are higher than ever before, and monumental trouble has just started brewing.
