It’s Christmas time in Cabot Cove and Jess is home this holiday season. When the local man who has played Santa for the last few years is murdered, Jess can’t help but investigate. When secrets come out everyone finds out that “Santa” wasn’t as nice as he seemed. Another fantastic story!
4 stars for this Christmas story
This story starts off ok then kind of spins it’s wheels about half way, but then the writer found themselves and the story finally took off. Was very nice in the end. A few curve balls you didn’t see coming, and was neat ( for me) to figure out the killer before Jessica did. And in the end Christmas Spirit was still alive and well in Cabot Cove.
As in all these books they are stand alones but if you can read in order you get to know people and places etc making it more familiar/ homey to the reader. Also like in them all there is no sexual references or language so I can recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book
I love Murder She wrote.
Murder She Wrote in book form….what could be better!
Like all in this series, you can sleep after reading this book. I liked the characters, is predictable but that is what I enjoy.
I have read every book in this series and have enjoyed each and everyone.
I read this because I remember watching the tv series with my dad and enjoying the characters very much. I wondered, as I read, the book if the author had ever seen an episode of the tv show. I may have liked it more if I hadn’t ever seen the tv show.
I like the Murder She Wrote set of books….Loved the TV show and the books are just as engaging and a nice read, particularly after reading something heavy or academic.
Liked very much. I love Angela Landsbury especially. In the Murder She Wrote series
I use to watch the TV show. I enjoy the books as much as the shows.
Fun, light hearted murder mystery.
Hi! Naturally, I’m a fan of the TV series and this book is a delight.
I love Murder She Wrote. so yes, I love the books!
Fast moving fun read.
This one is unique in the Jessica Fletcher series, in that in the first 12 chapters, the entire community of Cabot Cove has tried the one figured guy as the murderer of santa: solely on the basis of one juvenile delinquent’s accusation and convienei st lack of a reliable alibi and the guy has the personality of a porcupine in a balloon store trying to step lightly.
I love all the murder she wrote books. I’ve read almost all of them.
i love jessica fletcher. all of her books are great
Just like on TV, Jessica is off and running in this who done it. Full of twists and turns, along with her wit and action. Great characters who keep you guessing as who is the murder. A entertaining read.
Good mystery.
I watched every Murder She Wrote when it was on TV and a lot of reruns. Haven’t read many of the books, too expensive for me. I do purchase when on sale. Of the ones I have read, they have been all in Cabot Cove which I like. I realize that for such a small town the TV show had to have jessica do some traveling around. Too many murders for small Cabot Cove!
