Researching for the Ginger Gold Mysteries has been so much fun. I hope you sense that as you read. Ginger Gold is smart, savvy, and delightful. The fashions, the dances, the CRIME. The character of Haley Higgins, a medical student at the London Medical School for Women allows me to further delve into another keen interest of mine: forensics. Never fear, the Ginger Gold Mysteries are COZY, so no scary, graphic on-stage violence. You’ll find these books to be clean reads, with no swearing or sex. I hope you enjoy the Ginger Gold Mystery series!
Hop aboard the 1920s!

fast fun read
For me, very difficult to follow all the characters.
This reminded me of Miss Fisher’s Mysteries from Australian TV. Having seen many of them, I could picture these characters easily replicating those in the TV show.
This was a wonderful book. Loved the characters!
It was fun to read about the “cruising crowd” and the decorum, habits of the rich, etc. while being entertained with some unusual characters. It was a fun read…the kind of fluff you need once in a while to “cleanse your palate.
An easy read. Entertaining.
A mystery with good characters. Light and easy reading.
Wonderful mystery set at sea. The sleuth is a “Miss Fisher” type character; a multi-talented, well-dressed, smart, attractive young widow. The story is plausible, interesting and well-written.
tries too hard to be cute, but fun anyway.
Period “cozy” mystery
Love period mysteries.
This is a fun series, set in the 1920’s and featured a youngish widow of means. This story is set on a cruise ship from the US to England. Perfect for those of who enjoy light mysteries featuring smart female sleuths. Added bonuses of a great time period and a cruise ship!
Good and fast read, cute
I enjoyed the window into an earlier and stylized time in history and found the mystery engaging. A good read.
Nice characters, great dress descriptions, would be nice to see more novels to develop the main character.
kept my interest very good
I enjoyed reading this book because the author took the time to get the historical perspective correct. So the setting and characters were believable. The plot had depth to it and I found myself wanting to know what happened next. I read a lot of mysteries and I didn’t have it figured out until nearly the end. And I wasn’t completely sure of myself, either! If you like a challenging read this is a good one. What
Quite boring and predictable.
Pages are all out of order. I couldn’t read this.
I thought the book a little shallow
