Efficient story telling. No messing about!
Classic
Mind blown, Agatha!
I enjoyed this but kept trying to figure out why this one is better known and more remembered than Aggie’s others and then? And then? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
Holy $%!!!
I highly recommend the audio for this one; Kenneth Branagh’s voice is buttahhh, Baby.
I think I ovulated just listening to him.
A great mystery, with lots of twists and turns. Poirot is a great character.
Th high bar for detective fiction. Unstoppable genius on every page
Just finished this one today. Despite already knowing the outcome to this novel, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey it took me on. I was worried Agatha Christie’s writing would be too complex for me to understand but I was delighted to find her writing was easy but by no means basic. I thoroughly enjoyed Murder on The Orient Express and would highly …
It’s Agatha Christie, of COURSE it’s a great read!
I just can’t read this anymore! I am in the middle of chapter 5, and nothing has happened to anyone. Agatha’s characters are so nasty to each other. Hercule tells Ratchett, I don’t like your face, but gets away with it cause he’s British? If he was an American, everyone would call him a rude American. Poirot also calls women ugly as sin and that …
Agatha Christie at her best. Great characters and a story that keeps you guessing through its twists and turns.
I love most of Agatha Christie’s books, but this one was rather boring, going over the scene numerous times as each suspect is considered. It is a technique I did not enjoy. It was disappointing, and I thought even the movie disappointing.
I am an Agatha Christie fan. This is one of her best stories. Have read this several times and get something new every time! Anyone who loves a good mystery will find this to be a favorite.
great job
I read this in one sitting. Great book by a great author.
Great
One of the best who-done-its I’ve read, by the queen of crime fiction.
I could not put this book down! It’s and excellent “whodunnit” book.
I never really understood the phrase”couldn’t put this book down” until I read this book. We were on vacation and the whole time I DID NOT PUT THE BOOK DOWN. The only reason I would have to put it down would be because we had to eat or something. The plot gave me goosebumps and I felt so connected to the story. It was very informative and super …
Loved it
I love this book – and all of her works. I have the same copies for years – the oldest being about 40yo. I always find something new when I re-read these
Awfully slow moving
