I greatly appreciated reading a book with no cursing in it, especially not using Jesus Christ as a curse word.
Good light fiction for fans of the classic mystery.
Didn’t flow
not the best one in the series but an easy light read
Keeps you on the edge of your seat. No sleep til you are finished with the book
Good read
Throw this one back. Positive note is the plot and well fleshed out characters. But the entire book was ruined by the main detective. I don’t like reading a book and feeling smarter than the man investigating the murder. And towards the end I skipped over the 100th time description of him dunking his food or pushing back his hair. By the end I was rooting for the murderer over this twit of a policeman.
The book was “too fishy” so throw it back.
Boring
It was to slow.

I have found that I cannot read anything written in present tense. That put me off so much I did not read past the first page.
Author lost me with use of “Roget’s Thesaurus ” simple visions made way too wordy. Lost me from the very first chapter.
