Love this series
I really enjoyed the characters and the story.
It was an easy read with a cliff hanger ending!
Interesting. I can see more to come in this series
The ending! WOW! I never saw it coming. What a great read.
I thought this book was a great beginning for a series. I features a different environment than ones that are usually selected.
I liked this book. Just when I thought I had it figured out, another twist came.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author. This book made me want to move to the Midwest and take up ranching. I loved that neither main character were ranchers but they lived outside of town on a ranch. Unique story line.
I’m an avid mystery/crime reader and I usually know who the killer or thief is well in advance. This one had me going for a while. I finally figured it out and enjoyed the challenge.
Ideal holiday book for relaxing book
A great mystery
The characters are well developed and very likable. This is well written and moves just right. The reader is kept interested thru each page and development.
Likeable characters, and their curiosity that leads to the conclusion isn’t trite or forced.
writing style was a little stiff. plot was OK. The dogs in always go into the house and to the mat in front of the fireplace, etc. etc. Sometimes it was over explained.
Interesting story line with plot twists that keep you guessing.
Had some slow parts and the reason they started investigating seems unlikely.
This was a disappointing book. Although the main mystery was solved there was a hook that a deeper mystery was involved and you have to read the series to discover the whole truth.
I liked the characters in this book and particularly enjoyed that the story was set in Wyoming. What I did not like was that the book has no conclusion, which is a pet peeve of mine! A couple of mysteries do get resolved but the bigger ones are left hanging to entice you to buy book number two. This tactic doesn’t work for me; I won’t purchase …
Really liked this. Nice husband and wife crime solvers. Good story kept up reading at night!
Had some trouble getting into the story and getting to know the characters. A little more than half way through, I was finally beginning to like the characters. Just as I was surprised by “who dun it” and it was getting interesting, it was over! And it ended on a cliff hanger. Not a happy camper………
