Maggie Newberry is an advertising copywriter who’s fast on her feet and a little stunned to realize that she’s over 30 and still hasn’t found true love. When her long missing sister ends up dead, Maggie flies to the south of France to find the little niece that no one in the family even knew existed. Along the way, she finds handsome, sexy Frenchman Laurent Dernier to help search for the girl. … Meanwhile, her sister’s murderer sets his sights on the little girl—and Maggie.
(Alors: Laurent’s classic boeuf en daube recipe at the end of the book!)

Enjoyable easy reading.
Not much, lame
I liked the book but it reminded me of a Lifetime movie. Many characters were unlikeable and stayed that way to the end. It was too wordy with the descriptives I found myself skipping through some of them. The description of Paris and Nice was very transportive and enjoyable. Somewhat predictable ending and disappointing but clean book no bad …
I was captivated from the very beginning with the characters and the story. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. Definitely a good read!
It was a little slow to get started but picked up about 1/3 o the way through. It was an enjoyable read
Fun read, easily transports you to the south of France.
Fun read.
It was ok but I didn’t agree with the morals depicted in the story.
Good book! Would recommend.
I enjoyed the series of the books I have read by this writer.
OKAY READ BUT DONT HAVE INTEREST IN READING THE NEXT ONE.
LIKE THE PARENTS IN STORY BUT SAD FOR THEM.
Great book and can picture the setting thanks to the author
Had many twists and turns.
This is the least favorite Of The series for me. However, I love the Maggie Newberry series. The locations, the characters, the storytelling !
Good read
Far fetched
I really enjoy this series. The characters are all interesting and the plot development has lots of twists. I have enjoyed watching the main characters’ relationship evolve over the course of the series.
Reading other books by the same author — like her style.
I did not like the book – too predictable and pretentious.
Enjoyed
