Maggie Newberry is an advertising copywriter who’s fast on her feet and a little stunned to realize that she’s over 30 and still hasn’t found true love. When her long missing sister ends up dead, Maggie flies to the south of France to find the little niece that no one in the family even knew existed. Along the way, she finds handsome, sexy Frenchman Laurent Dernier to help search for the girl. … Meanwhile, her sister’s murderer sets his sights on the little girl—and Maggie.
(Alors: Laurent’s classic boeuf en daube recipe at the end of the book!)

Enjoyable. A little long in the telling but overall entertaining
Good story line and interesting location.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have spent many happy holidays in the South of France and this book brings back the full flavour of that part of France. I could almost smell the Gauloise cigarettes they smoke
I’ve read this whole series and I’m now getting them all on my kindle!
A nice easy read
Enjoyed every word. Couldn’t put it down and continued reading til the end. Way past my bedtime. Thanks for a great read. Ellie
I enjoyed the book. Interesting characters. Page turner.
Slow to get into it. Stopped after an hour or reading
I will not read any more of these books. They are o.k. but I feel that the women characters were very subservient to the male lead roles.
All this author’s books are worth reading!
This book was extremely busy well done. It was a page Turner for me and one of the best mysteries I have read on a long time.
Good murder mystery….great bedtime read
Very much intrigue ! Enjoyed the read
Murder, but light reading. A woman’s book – took me back to France.
Enjoy reading this series, each book a complete story.
It was good although I felt her details of Atlanta were quite off.
More of a romance with a mystery thrown in. Good ending.
