Autumn has come to Cedar County. It’s harvest time. The trees and vines in the orchards and vineyards are heavy with ripening fruit. For the tourists flocking to the tasting rooms of the region’s vineyards, the land- scapes and seascapes provide an elaborate tapestry of rich colors and textures.
However, there is one discordant note in this pastoral splendor, the crumpled body of an international … international wine maven has been discovered in a steeply terraced vine- yard of merlot grapes. As Sheriff Ray Elkins quickly discovers, the roots of this crime run from the legendary chateaus of Burgundy to the exclusive watering holes of Chinese billionaires.

This book did not ring any bells for me. I did finish it but am not inclined to read more of this series. I was disappointed.
Truly believable. I enjoy the expansion of all the regulars.
I’ve read several of the books in this series and have enjoyed each one. Each book works well as stand alone. I have not read these in order and have no problem knowing what’s happening.
All the fun of solving another murder mystery. Always need another.
Love this series and the characters! I look forward to each new book as a chance to catch up with old friends.
Enjoyable story and easy reading.
Another great mystery by Aaron Stander. Wine is an important part of the mystery and adds something new to the read.
I sometimes find myself going to the end of a book because it is predictable after the first chapter. Not so with this series. This author knows how to keep you on the edge without resorting to cliches or predictable storylines.
I enjoyed the description of the setting for the book.
This was a fun read in a very interesting setting.
Good plot with many twists and turns. Hard to put down!
Good main characters, interesting mystery. Nice series.
A waste.
Love all his books! You never know what will happen with Ray!
Enjoy who-dunnits.
I have loved all Aaron Stander books.
Weird cops, not behaving like cop. They are more academic. The more you read, the more you want to know them.
New words interesting plot very good read.
