In the process she learns more about Laurent’s family—and stumbles across a terrible secret that would tempt anybody to commit murder.

Enjoyed this story and the characters. The Paris setting was a bonus. A good who-dun-it kept me guessing. I have read other books in this series and I look forward to reading more.
Loved the Paris setting as well as the mystery!
Good book. Easy to read with lots of twists and turns.
I love the ambience and characters in this book and look forward to reading more of Maggie’s adventures.
Very clever and interesting, believable.
This series has great characters and complex plotting.
Kinda long but worth the read
I enjoyed reading a book that was set in a place I love and know well. The Latin Quaeter of Paris holds many fond memories for me, and obviously the author, too.
Interesting reading. Kept me guessing til the end.
Badly written
horrible
Love this series- great characters
So many characters, hard to follow them.
I read everything by this author. Always exciting to read.
I have read several in this series and have enjoyed them all. The main character gets herself into danger because she is curious but not always wise. It is a fun read.
Liked this one a lot
I totally enjoyed the whole series of books, and highly recommend them. They are better written than most I have read. My only objection, which is petty I know, is the covers. I would never have read them had I seen them on the library shelf or at the bookstore. The cover for this particular book is, in my opinion, the worst of the series.
I like Paris and was looking forward to reading a story taking place there, but just could not stomach one woman calling her friend “darling” in every other page…
This is an entertaining read for lovers of mystery and France. Not too deep, but Just complex enough to be engaging. Book candy!!
A good read.
