This book takes you further into the sleepy little French town of St-Buvard, where Maggie and Laurent discover not one but four murders to spice up their tenure in Provence. The wine, the food, the scenery and sexy French chef and winemaker Laurent make the journey a very palatable one indeed!A year spent living in the south of France is not all it’s cracked up to be—especially when you have no … you have no job, a prickly first year of marriage, and your new BFF is murdered virtually before your eyes. Maggie Newberry is determined to help the investigations into Brigitte’s murder even if the incredibly sexy and very available French police detective on the case can only complicate her life in every possible way. Murder in Provence is set in the ancient city of Arles and, like the other books in the series, showcases the sights and mouthwatering cuisine of Provence—with a healthy dash of murder.

I am enjoying this series set in France. I can’t stop buying all the books!! I usually read on or two in a series and stop but not this one!!
I hope you enjoy as much as I have.
This is the 3rd book in the Maggie Newberry series and the fun continues! Maggie and Laurent are feeling tension in their marriage. But before they have a chance to stop snipping at each other there is another murder! This time Maggie is after a serial killer. Can she identify him before he comes after her???
Fun to read with likable characters.
A cozy mystery in a beautiful location, wonderful characters
I enjoy the characters.
The Maggie Newberry series is the perfect page turner for scenic mystery fiction. These books have it all—-wonderful characters that develop throughout the series, French scenic locations, food, and customs, murder and mayhem, family life abroad, and a little romance. I’m always ready for the next installment from Kiernan-Lewis
I found book 3 to be frustrating. Maggie comes across as a selfish spoiled brat who gets upset when she doesn’t get her way. Her whole attitude toward her husband and supposedly best friend were horrible. The book was more about her than trying to solve the murder.
Somewhat interesting but a little slow
I like the whole series.
I didn’t finish the book. I got a little tired of the characters.
I reallly like how the plot devolves. I like the way the charcters interact wnad how they seem to find a way to work thru their problems. CW
Did not like it
Love anything that takes place in southern France. The cooking info is fun, too.
Enjoy the writing, the characters and the education about living in France.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Plenty of action and drama.
Good who done it and easy to read. I have read other books in the series and have enjoyed them all.
I have read several of the series and liked all of them.
Enjoy the Newberry series!
Love all the Murder in …Provence and all her other French towns. Interesting take on the trials of an American expat married to a Frenchman. Fast paced and a different take on murder mysteries.
Love the whole series!
