it takes place in an area of Aix-en-Provence! and the characters work and change and deepen their relationships.
Love these books. I have read most in the series. It’s like visiting these wonderful places, some of which I’ve even been to. Thought I had this one figured out..wrong!
As always, an enjoyable read by Susan Kiernan-Lewis. You feel like an insider, as you engage with the interesting, well developed characters and absorb the rich details provided of the French country setting. This was one of the more exciting mysteries in the series, employing more that the usual tension and sense of urgency. I was thoroughly entertained and sometimes on the edge of my seat.
It was ok. I would only give it one star
I love this series!
Enjoyed this read. Makes me want to read the rest of the series.
Didn’t really get into it.
The description makes it sound like this is a typical mystery where a bunch of people are trapped somewhere and someone is murdering them one by one, but rather than a manor house in Victorian England, they’re actually trapped in the dining room of a ski lodge that is in danger of collapsing due to an avalanche. Figuring out who the murderer is keeps you guessing until the end.
Enjoyed eading, it was a page turner!
I was left wanting to know what the original disagreement was between Maggie and Grace.
I loved the twist at the end. I didn’t see that coming! Great imagination … very enjoyable read!
The plot kept me engaged. The descriptive detail brought back my time living in Europe and visiting family. I like the characters. I have read others in the series & look forward to reading more.
Always enloy these “Maggie” stories. Avalanche a bit scary but such good ending. Thank goodness.
Love the Maggie mysteries! Maggie, Laurent, family and friends are interesting characters with real problems. Maggie and Grace’s friendship has been strained almost to the breaking point. Laurent is almost too good to be believed. Maggie’s mother is pressuring her to move back to the United States. Someone is murdering guests at a ski resort. Entertaining, heartwarming, and Maggie is in a dangerous situation!

EEP ME READING….
Neat new idea, trapped in an old hotel by an avalanche with a murdering psychopath killing people.
I loved this book. I enjoy this writer’s books and have read many. I am a Francophile & just love Europe so this book gives you love, anticipation & action packed. You really care for the characters.
It was just okay.
11th in a series and to much “catching up” for new readers in first few chapters. The plot is relatively over thw top and while tense at no time was the situation believable.
Well written mystery romance with an interesting plot and some illustrations
about choices in our lives. The things that are important and what is not. I enjoyed a good clean story that was well written. I liked the characters.
