During this time of world problems, every night I looked forward to traveling to a different place, to connect with a different place in time, a beautifully described location, to spend time with people that seemed to become friends. I am working my way through all the books. Much prefer books to movies!

I actually quite liked this book although it was a little overdramatic. It is like Hollywood has accustomed people to some level of violence so an author feels like he or she has to put some in a book or it won’t get attention.
I enjoyed this book, unpredictable, kept my interest couldn’t lay down ,highly recommended
as I have NO French language skill……all the French words diminished my reading pleasure ALSO mystery not well developed
I loved the setting, the mystery and the characters. Wish I’d known it was part of a series, so I could have read book 1 first.
Took me awhile to figure out the murderer. Like that in a book
Enjoyable cozy mystery!
I liked Maggie and her neighbors. Just wish that characters had very different names. Not names that all started with the same Initial – the “R;s, the M’s. It was confusing to me.
Well written, but not very believable. There are better books in this long-running series.
This book retained my attention making me want to keep reading to discover the “who done it”. I became suspicious but with the twists to the story I never was completely sure of my self. Actually, I didn’t pick the right person at all. Very well written book with a great story line.
Took too long to get to the murder. Took too many side tracks.
Interesting two main characters trapped in an avalanche
Was somewhat predictable and the plots were somewhat contrived.
I really enjoy the characters and the plots in the books in this series. Always a pleasure to read.
I enjoyed this book from cover to cover. The killer did surprise me 3/4 of the way through the book. I am planning to read the next book in this series.
There was a lot going on in this book. I couldn’t wait to find out who the murderer was.
needs a proof reader
Loved the characters and the French background along with subtle mentions of French personalities.
A great mystery
Bad enough to have an avalanche crash through your ski lodge without a deranged murderer part of the little group of survivors.
