Welcome to Cherry Hills, where small-town life can be deadly. Kat Harper fled Cherry Hills, Washington fifteen years ago never expecting to return. And she certainly never expected murder to strike so close to home. Kat has barely settled into her new apartment when she spies her neighbor’s cat Matty sitting on her doorstep. But Matty’s not making a social call. The newly orphaned feline has just … newly orphaned feline has just witnessed her owner’s violent death.
But who would want to kill Mrs. Tinsdale? Was it one of her fellow animal rescue volunteers? A money-hungry daughter? Or a local veterinarian with something to hide?
If Kat wants to close the case, she’s going to need Matty to lend a furry paw to solving the crime. But how do you convince a cat eyewitness to reveal “whodunit”?
All of the Cozy Cat Caper Mystery books can be enjoyed as standalones but will be better appreciated as part of the series. The books are light, fun cozy mystery novellas featuring an animal-loving female amateur sleuth, lovable and not-so-lovable quirky characters, and a page-turning mystery that needs solving. None of the books include cliffhangers, bad language, or graphic scenes.

Short and enjoyable. Loved the cat
I enjoyed this book it was different than what I most often read so it was entertaining. Thank you
Animals–yes!
Fun, light, well written
loved it!
This novella is light hearted and cute and starts to build a nice relationship between characters, but as many novellas, there isn’t time to build a complex plot. It is easy to consume at one gulp, and I look forward to seeing whether the promise of this book continues in other work.
I love cats any way so Matilda won my heart. Such a smart feline.
Kinda shallow. I hope the characters will be filled out in more depth in the coming books.
A short cozy mystery that is part murder mystery, part first time cat owner, with a touch of romance. You will find yourself finished with the book in no time. A keeper
It was good but too short.
Predictable
Enjoyed the book very much. I’d recommend it.
Not much plot,
these stories from Paige Sleuth are so good to snuggle up with and just chill out. Murder in Cherry Hills is engrossing and entertaining. Recommended!
This book was very short and a quick read.
completely loved this book!! the quintessential feline cozy.
EXTREMELY shallow, but ok if you need to read something you can breeze through without giving it a thought.
More like a short story
I am reading it now and I’m enjoying it very much….
Fun quick read. I throughly enjoyed this book.
