Welcome to Cherry Hills, where small-town life can be deadly. Kat Harper fled Cherry Hills, Washington fifteen years ago never expecting to return. And she certainly never expected murder to strike so close to home. Kat has barely settled into her new apartment when she spies her neighbor’s cat Matty sitting on her doorstep. But Matty’s not making a social call. The newly orphaned feline has just … newly orphaned feline has just witnessed her owner’s violent death.
But who would want to kill Mrs. Tinsdale? Was it one of her fellow animal rescue volunteers? A money-hungry daughter? Or a local veterinarian with something to hide?
If Kat wants to close the case, she’s going to need Matty to lend a furry paw to solving the crime. But how do you convince a cat eyewitness to reveal “whodunit”?
All of the Cozy Cat Caper Mystery books can be enjoyed as standalones but will be better appreciated as part of the series. The books are light, fun cozy mystery novellas featuring an animal-loving female amateur sleuth, lovable and not-so-lovable quirky characters, and a page-turning mystery that needs solving. None of the books include cliffhangers, bad language, or graphic scenes.

A quick, fun read and start to a new series.
Kat Harper is scarcely established in cozy-town Cherry Hills, Washington at what time she scouts out the neighbor’s cat at her entranceway. Little does she know the animal recently saw its master’s vicious demise. Katy must figure a way to get the cat, Matty to help her solve the murder.
Amusing and cozy mystery tale, with a feline and a layman sleuth. Laden with endearing and peculiar characters. A fun, intriguing, clean read.
It is a action-packed and while ı was reading it I was ancşoud about the cat whether anything bad happened to it.I really like it and I recommend this book to other readers.
Okay story but a bit simplistic due to its short length.
A fun read with great characters.
Enjoyed this cozy mystery. It was a light, quick read. Look forward to reading more of this series.
short
I love it when they use animals
Fun to read.
Boring.
I love Cozy mysteries. They are always cute, funny and nice to read.
The book was interesting. It was a like a shorter milder version of book I had just finished reading. I feel like I am not being fair because the other writer did a better job on the theme – cozy mystery with a pet who knows who the killer is.
I enjoyed this book…of course I like cats, so it was a nice selection!
Good mystery!
It is a light read, love the characters and the cat reminds me of my cat.
Cute story. Short, a little bit predictable. Still a good story with a cat in it.
Easy to read fun, very good book when you want to relax and kick back.
I did actually enjoy this book. Easy style of writing and sweet leadcharacter.
I loved being there in the story, the way you can just picture people and town.. I loved the cat too. Wonderful quick story.
