Loved this book, weird wonderful characters that are so entertaining and laugh out loud funny!
Too many details such as how to make French toast. That type of micro-detailing slowed the story down.
Valentine is a doormat. The other characters were good. The book is funny. Thank you.
Funny but serious. Interesting characters and a surprise ending – unexpected!
Laugh out loud pages.
Loved it! Very fun read!!
Not a heavy plot, but cute story line.
Light and fun to read.
Fast read with a charming heroine. Amusing twists
This book was funny and good! Enjoyed it very much. Good read!
Kept me turning the pages as Valentine gets in such a lot of trouble as she attempts to solve the mystery. A fun read. I enjoyed it.
Main character is funny. A light hearted easy read
It was entertaining, although it really wasn’t crime solving in the usual sense. More like a romance with a policeman with crimes in the background.
A fun romp into the world behind the scenes of a beauty shop
It was really a surprisingly good mystery!
Fun new series for me. I will enjoy these.
Cute
This was a fun cozy mystery that I enjoyed immensely! Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing.
The book was good, however, I didn’t care for the main character. She was a bit pushy to the point of being annoying. I also didn’t care of her self-flagellation. I also didn’t like that the story kept referring to a previous murder in bits and pieces. It didn’t add anything to this story and was distracting. To me it didn’t add to the story. There were some very humorous parts just not enough and parts between seem to lag. I’m not sure I’ll try the next book.
Held my interest.
Wonderful story. At times I was laughing so hard, I was crying and at other times you were worried about the characters lives.
