Twins as different as can be except when it comes to coffee and sweets. They make you laugh out loud. Add a murder to solve and you have one great book. I recommend this series to everyone.
I love this series. It keeps getting better and better. The characters work so well together. I cannot wait for the next installment to find out what Georgie and Aleta get involved in. Great series. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Great series of twin sisters, Georgie and Aleta. A dead body is found in one of the show cars. Georgie puts her snooping skills to work. She investigates to attempt to find the truth. There is humor between the sisters to keep you smiling. Was it murder or suicide? Georgie gets too close to the truth when she gets a warning.
I loved this book!!!! Georgie and Aleta are at it again. The laughter keeps you entertained and the mystery keeps you guessing. Sandi Scott is one of my favorite authors to read. Her characters and storylines are so very believable and just plain hilarious. You can’t help it you just have to love them. Stan (Georgie’s ex) gets some zingers of humor into the story too. Georgie gets to live one of her dreams in this book and is a car pin up girl at a car show. Aleta finds someone who interests her for the first time since her husband passed. But of course he’s in trouble and the girls have to solve the mystery so that they can prove him innocent. Yes, I highly recommend that you read this book or any others in the series as they are all good and keep getting better.
The twins are back with with another action-packed mystery. Very well written, great plot and charming characters (both two and four legged). Love this series! I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
What a fun book and series to read. I find the characters cute & funny and always wonder what the heck they will get involved with next.
This is an absolutely laugh out loud cozy mystery series with the funniest main characters, twin sisters, Georgie and Aleta! Georgie is the outgoing sister and Aleta tries to keep her in line, although she is always in on her sister’s antics whether she wants to be or not. Georgie, an artist, meets another artist who is a photographer at an art show of some of her works. Errol, the photographer who will be taking pictures of an antique car show and asks Georgie to pose with some of the cars he will be shooting. Stan, a local detective and Georgie’s ex-husband who is contantly trying to win her back shows up at the car show to Georgie’s chagrin. With her sister by her side, keeping her sane, she poses for pictures. When she takes a break Georgie and Aleta go to the lemonade stand to get a drink. While on break, she sees a man, Marley who appears to be interested in Aleta. So she takes Aleta over to meet Marley. A short time later, as they were getting acquainted with Marley they find Hera, the woman from the lemonade stand dead in one of Marley’s cars and it appears to be suicide and Marley has disappeared. Was it suicide? Of course Georgie thinks there’s something fishy about that and she and Aleta decide to look into it. The fun begins. Will Georgie find out the truth, will she get in trouble, will Aleta help her to stay out of trouble, will her ex-husband, Stan get involved? Read on to see! This book is so much fun that while trying to unravel the mystery, you laugh all the way there. I received and ARC from the author, but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
Anytime a book can make me laugh out loud I know it’s a winner. No one does back and forth repartee like Sandi Scott. It almost makes me wish for a twin sister except I don’t think I’d be as sweet as Aleta being on the receiving end. I love senior citizens who are fiesty and free yet are still genteel when it comes to men and good manners. There aren’t many cozies I jump to read but Sandi Scott does it in a way that makes me look forward to her books. You won’t be disappointed with this series.
This is a wonderful cozy mystery series, I have really enjoyed Georgia and Alteina and Stan. The twins are so much fun and they get into so much trouble. Stan is still trying to make up for his wrong doing in the past and win the heart of his love Georgia back. The way Sandi Scott writes is so fun and I can picture these wonderful characters being real people. I was gifted this book with the understanding I would leave an honest review. Well I loved it.This might be my favorite one in the series.
