It’s New Year 1921 in Britain and Scotland Yard tasks the Lieutenant with monitoring the exchange of sensitive materials with a large amount of cash. He needs a skilled woman who is not on the force to act as the wife of the person he is pretending to be, so he asks the reliable Posie Parker. What could go wrong?
Read this very convoluted and interesting book to find out. You’ll be glad you did!
A bit confusing at times. Too many dysfunctional characters, but none the less well written. I’m soft on English mystery series.
One never knew what would happen at the manor. Enjoyable.
