Great start to a new series. Serena must learn to play tennis, after telling her boyfriend a little white lie about her non-existent skill. This book is well-written, with a nice twisty plot and intriguing characters. The story is set at a tennis club, but you won’t need to know a thing about tennis to enjoy the book. I’m looking forward to the next book! I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
Highly unpredictable. I predict that Serena and Oliver will make a great couple one day. Their verbal and tennis sparing is delightful.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. This is my honest review.
A fun story that weaves through the clues and keeps you guessing. The world building is well done, you feel like you are inside the story and part of the story. The characters are great. They are definitely what you would envision finding at a snooty club. The best character in the book though is Sampras, the tennis ball stealing cat.
I loved this story as it brought back memories of when I was a teenager and my aunt was teaching me to play tennis. Love the characters and the cat. Couldn’t put it down.
Apparently I need to brush up on my sleuthing skills because I never saw the ending to Murder At Match Point coming.
Myrtle Morse has assembled a fine cast of characters as well as some memorable comedic dialogue to keep her readers engaged from the first page to the last.
I’m a bit curious to see where this story line goes in future books and if the characters will be constant or will they be replaced in each book. The setting for Murder At Match Point might not provide enough plot options for a series thus I am curious to see how the author keeps future books in the series new and exciting. Expecting big things based on the authors other series! Highly recommend.

A little liquid courage embellishes her skills a bit much – and a chain of events kicks off that lands her in another murder inquiry, and at the beginning of an exciting new career challenge.

Great First in Series British Cozy
What a great start to a new cozy mystery series. Our heroine is sharp, smart, and a bit self-deprecating. Our male lead is the perfect foil and friend. As the series takes place at a country club, there is plenty of class induced snarkiness. The mystery is solid, the reveal surprising and the story left a smile on my face and in my heart. I have followed this author under other pen names for years. This is a wonderful start for this series. I can’t wait for more.
MURDER..AT..MATCH.POINT…Mrytle Moore / Ruby Loren
Getting help from the instructor to improve oneself at tennis was more like a hazing ritual. She had zero experience, and couldn’t afford the five hours for
the five days either. She got in this mess telling white lies, when meeting
someone new. Written under her pen name, we have a different style of her writing, this has humor and a good flowing plot, which I found easy to read
and enjoyed. Given arc for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
