A remote Scottish island plays host to a deadly reunion…It should be a lot of fun, meeting up for a long weekend in a rented lighthouse on a chunk of rock miles from anywhere. There will be drinks and games and all sorts of other amusements. It is ten years since the last get-together and twenty years since Nadia and her friends graduated from university. But not everything goes according to … everything goes according to plan. One of the group has a more sinister agenda and, as events begin to spiral out of control, it becomes clear that not everyone will get off the island alive…

All through this book, I was guessing which of the most flawed characters was the murderer. I even surmised it might be one of the least flawed. I won’t give it away, but it was a surprise. The location descriptions weren’t descriptive enough to gain a clear picture in my mind, which is half the fun of reading.
very dry
Great writing
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down.
The murderer was a surprise.
Well written mystery.
Typical who done it murder mystery. Not my cup of tea but maybe for others.
The writer end the book properly and don’t let the reader hang in mid sentence and wonder what now and what happened to the characters.
A bunch of Uni classmates get together for a weekend, usually to get totally smashed and irritate each other. This occasion on a remote island is not different. After plowing through about 60 excruciatingly boring pagers I gave up and never got to the murder mystery. Well, life is full of hard choices but I survive.
This is a good who done it that’s hard to figure out
Boring. Didn’t finish it.
Never grabbed my interest
I didn’t know how it was going to end. The characters were believeable.
Good book
Well written…………..held my interest……………..always wanted to know what could happen next
I am currently reading this book.
Boring
Bizarre
Good book lots of twists
Easy read
This story is alright for a quick read, just for fun. It is a little strained, and the ending is not very plausible, but it doesn’t have to be if you just like whodunits with a limited cast of characters.
