Such an enjoyable series, quirky characters in a lovely small town. Love Abigail , her grandmother and the Granny Gang. The mystery twist and turns keep the pages turning. I was given a free ARC by the author. My review is freely and honestly given
Delightful Cozy Mystery
I think I have read just about every book in the series, and I find it an absolute delight. It is what a cozy mystery ought to be about: a complex and fascinating relationship between the primary sleuth, her family, and the community; a small town, of course, with quirky characters where much goes on beneath the surface; and, of course, a mystery to solve! It doesn’t hurt to have a couple of cute animals and a mix of generations. As with the other books in the series, I particularly enjoyed the relationship between Abigail and her grandmother. Because of the way that Abigail grew up, she never knew her grandmother until recently, but over the course of the books, they have become thick as thieves and are always working together to try to figure out whatever the current mystery is. I love watching the dynamics of their relationship. Their two dogs are quite different in character (gangly Great Dane Thor and ladylike Missy) and actually add a joyful element to the stories. And I’m not even a dog person! This mystery hinged partly on an old tradition of the town. That was a fantastic element to add to both the story and the mystery aspect. So much has gone into creating this fictional town, both its past and its complex present. The mystery itself in this book is a good one, and I liked that the main suspect was no one that anyone wanted to be a suspect, so some people wanted to help exonerate him. I actually was slightly surprised at the way it turned out, which is rare for me in a mystery. This is booked four in the series, but the author slides in a bit of information about the different people and things going on in town, so even if this is your first read of the series, you won’t get lost. If you enjoy good, quirky small-town cozy mysteries, you may very well enjoy this book.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Shelley is looking forward to the St Valentine’s event every one is talking about in town. It will be her first since she moved to live with her Granny. Love seems in the air already when the body of a girl is found at Lover’s Leap. As they have a track record of solving crime the father of the girl is asking them to find the culprit But there are so many possible suspects, as, of course, the time asks for clandestine meetings, so several false alibis are given
A cozy who-done-it with a twist of romance and a lot of fun. A really entertaining story.

During the Wallace Point Valentines Celebrations, Abigail and Granny are asked by a friend to find out who wanted to kill his daughter at Lover’s Point. They must uncover secrets from present to the past, and Abigail may even need help from Jamie. I thought I figured the mystery out, but twists had me rethink.

Murder at first Sight is a warm and cozy mystery. Abigail and her grandma are trying to find who attempted to murder a returning resident of Wallace Point, with the help of lovable town residents including the “Granny Gang”.
Abigail and grandma Lane’s relationship is so sweet and loving. It sets the scene for the rest of the book, even the suspect is so lovable everyone wants to help him. I fell in love with Thor, the great dane and Grandma Lane. I would love her to be a part of my family!
Though this is book 4 in the Whodunit Antiques series, it’s a great stand alone book. Actually, this is my first read of the series and I have already purchased book 1 so I can read the whole series!
If you enjoy cozy mysteries with a warm and inviting list of characters this is the book for you.

Lovers Point is a rocky bit of seaside real estate with quite a legendary local romance connection. Irish lovers who were indentured servants were forced apart – the Point where they met, where they were torn apart from each other, where the lovers swore to meet again. Damp as the place was, the woman allegedly got sick and died in her visits in memory of her lost lover.
When a local returns and is found seriously injured on Lovers Point, several current and past friends and lovers come under suspicion.
A tangled test of friendships and loyalties
Good for you Thor!!!! You helped solve the problem. Nice job!!!!
Shelly and Grandma are at it again. The poor person accused of murder is just too nice and people can’t believe they would do that. Even the parents of the victim ask for help clearing the accused’s name. All of this in Honor of the town’s revised Valentine’s event.
There are so many rabbit trails to follow here. Even I got caught up in them when I though In had it figured out but not for the right reasons. Love being tricked. Makes it a great story. Read it for yourself and see.
Love the lead into the next book hopefully.
You can read this by itself and even start the series here. Great cozy mystery read.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
