Fun realistic characters, nice twisty plot, fabulous description of period. Highly entertaining and easy read with a touch of romance. Highly recommended
enjoyed reading this mystery
Believe this is the first time I have read anything written by LEE STRAUSS. Plot kept me guessing and it was difficult to lay down the book while I had something to do. Highly recommend this to ‘cozy mystery fans’.
Needs better editing.
Love this series, like to read about these intelligent, different women of this era. The descriptions of the places, clothing and people are so very informative. Looking forward to more books in this series.
I honestly didn’t like that the writer felt compelled to explain aspects of 1920’s England, but it might be helpful for someone else
Enjoyed reading another Lady Gold adventure. She is a delightful character in a time that I find interesting. Love the costumes.
This author has it all together! I love her stories! This book was very entertaining and a page Turner!
Historically accurate and an easy read. Charming and original.
This book took me to a time period I know nothing about. Loved the characters. I was left wanting to read another.
This book was excellent!
Fun to read. Great descriptions of fashion of the time.
A well-written, entertaining, complex story which held my interest from start to finish.
Loved this book.
I am enjoying all of the books in this series set in England between the wars. Look forward to each new installment. Best if read in order as each story builds in some way upon the previous one.
I really like this series- have recommended it to others
Unlike Ginger Gold, I’m not a former WWI spy-turned- wealthy London fashionista with her own high-end shop. However, the author did an excellent job of making me feel like I was part of that c. 1920s world. Plus, after reading a few clunkers (“sappys”) posing as cozies lately, I was delighted to relax with a cozy that didn’t insult my intelligence.
Fun cozy mystery!
Trite and predictable.
love this character, have read all in series
