Escape to a getaway by the beach, with a brand new summer romance from the bestselling author of THE HEARTBREAK CAFE and more.
The Bay Hotel, perched on a clifftop above a sweeping bay, was once the heart and soul of pretty Irish seaside town Mulberry Bay.
Run by the Harte family, the place was as beloved as cheery landlady Anna, and visitors from far and wide came for the warm welcome and … welcome and charming surroundings.
The hotel was also once home to thirty-something sisters Eleanor and Penny, and while youngest sister Penny still lives close by, it’s been some time since Elle has been back.
But following a family tragedy, she is forced to return from her busy London world and confront the reality of the life she left behind.
When it becomes apparent that the property may need to be sold, the sisters are unprepared by the reaction of their father, Ned. He steadfastly refuses to give up their mum’s legacy, revealing that the family has given up something equally precious once before.
Intrigued by their father’s revelation, the sisters unite, with the local community behind them in their efforts to save the hotel – and, in the process, help heal the fractures in the Harte family.

Loved it!
I enjoyed this book
Death of hotel host brings family togther. They update and refubish hotel to make it like days of the past.
This book is about a woman who comes home to help her sister run the family hotel after her mother died.
I’m not one for romances but something about this book drew me in and I found myself enjoying it. I was glad it wasn’t a steamy story but romantic stories of 3 couples!
I enjoyed reading the book and liked the way the author focused more on the restoration of the beloved hotel from the family who owned it and with the support of the town. I thought the relationships of the owners/daughters where drawn out a little too long. That is why I rated the book with four stars.
Lovely stories
When Anna (mother to Elle and Penny) died of a heart attack, the girls and their father Ned discovered that their family hotel was both falling down and deeply in debt. While Penny had always stayed at home in Mulberry Bay, Elle had gone to college in Dublin and worked as an architect in London. They needed to find a way to restore and save the hotel. This heartwarming book has wonderful characters and includes fascinating details about such things as a search for first issues of Beatles’ albums. The book is filled with discovery, love, and what can be accomplished with determination.

I really enjoyed this book. Not my usual genre but very good read. I would read this author’s work again.
Premise was unusual but too many wrong conclusions. Just a relaxing read for a rainy day.
Very vanilla….not much action of any kind….
Well written, interesting, and different.
This was a good book. The family dynamic is original and entertaining.

What a great way to spend an afternoon–reading this book. I loved it. While it is not an overly original plot it is so well-done that I know that I will read it again and again. The characters are wonderful.
Beach reading where you can finish a easy story without thinking too hard. But desserts look yummy
