Can Mr. Wrong become Mr. Forever?
Mr. Wrong is the first book in The Clan McLeod series and is the story of Ellenore (Elle) and Lex. She has just gotten hired to work one of the hottest movie stars. When she is out celebrating with her bestie she lets lose and part of the is to have some adult fun time with a sexy man that she meets when out at the bar, Lex. The next morning there is a bit of a strange revelation that puts a real crimp into her fun night and her new job. Ooops!!!
I found this story-line to be nicely developed and engaging. Elle is a great character who has not really spread her wings much and is trying to find her place and balance in life. But when you add Lex in it throws her way off balance but in a good way, as it makes her stretch. Lex is a wonderful character as he is right there with Elle and does not put her down or make her feel bad when she questions things or is unsure of situations.
So while I liked this story I found it was a bit drawn out at times. I think it could have been edited down and made tighter which would have made it a more engaging read for me. Additionally there were some serious proofreading issues which annoyed me. However, overall I did like the story and am looking forward to the next in The Clan McLeod series.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

A one night stand gets complicated by him being her employer’s brother—the guy who her employment is supposed to be replacing. Lex’s life has revolved around taking care of his niece and now that has been taken from him, so he is pretty bitter about it. Elle wants to teach, but her life has been thrown out of balance by being dumped, even though she is really only upset about not knowing what she is doing next. Things get pretty intense, especially when she finds out how good she can really feel—and not just physically. This is a good story. The characters are like able, except Landon and we’re really not supposed to like the manipulative, absent jerk. Since this is the first book in a new series, hopefully is will be redeemed later.
An absolutely fantastic, captivating, and entertaining read! It is well written, engaging, emotionally deep, funny, and compelling with strong and likeable characters; the chemistry between them is off the charts. This story grabs your attention from the start and keeps it until the end as you find yourself completely engrossed in the riveting story-line. Definitely recommended!

Mr. Wrong is the first book in Megyn Ward’s The Clan McLeod series and it is a fantastic read! It focuses on Elle, who hooks up with a hot guy the night before starting her new job taking care of the daughter of Landon Trask who is currently Hollywood’s leading man, and Lex McLeod, Landon Trask’s younger brother who lives in his home and is Elle’s hot hook-up. They are both shocked to find out who they are after their hot night together. Lex is angry over Elle’s taking over his caretaking role for Cassie (Landon’s daughter)and their romance takes a negative turn. I recommend this smart and well written book with its lovers to enemies to lovers again romance. It’s definitely a five star read!

My first book from this author and I am not sure why. I do know that it won’t be my last by Megyn Ward. Loved Elle and Lex. The chemistry and attraction that was between them was so good. Great characters and storyline. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Sexy with a whole dash of fun, Lex and Elle are so good together. Absolutely fantastic plot with a well developed storyline and the supporting characters add just the right touch of both a kick in the a$$ with the shoulder to cry on. I liked how the story developed with each bringing the other challenges and growing in overcoming their faults by making them take a good look at themselves from the others perspective.

So this book was absolutely adorable. Ellenore and Lex are great characters with amazing chemistry. There is some steamy moments where Lex totally corrupts sweet and innocent Ellenore but he also helps her find her backbone.
I will say there was some editing issues in the copy I received with wrong words, not anything major but they probably should have been caught. Otherwise this was a fantastic fun read.

Trading in Mr Bland for Mr Wrong for a sizzling sweet HEA
All sorts of favorites!!
1.) Not so sad about the recent end of her long term relationship, more upset that her plans were disrupted.
2.) Sassy best friend who encourages a naughty one night stand
3.) One night stand with a hottie so far out of her league she just can’t say no
4.) Hollywood
5.) Brothers who are there for each other but also give the most guff
6.) He loves her as she is
7.) Grumpy old cat with attitude.
No airs. No games. Both of them, Elle & Lex, have their insecurities, but they strengthen each other.
And the child who brings them all together is adorable.

Elle is fresh out of a break up and a plan. She gets a job as a celebrity’s daughter’s private tutor. She meets, Lex, at a bar. They hookup and then their journey begins. He’s the brother of her new boss and the live in caregiver for his niece. He’s also the person she’s replacing. There’s no craziness or anything like that. Just a struggle of her coming out of her shell and him working out his feelings. It’s good story. There was misspelled words or missing words. I liked the story but it could have been a little more but it was still good nonetheless.

A Pleasure To Read
This was an easy romantic read that was well written, original and a pleasure to read. The two main male and female characters were so in tune with one another and quickly escalated to enveloping a strong sensual connection as well. Ms. Ward gave some insight into the loss of freedom some actors may experience. In this story, the impact of fame, unfortunately, also had a highly restrictive existence thrust upon the actor’s child … sad.
