Rhett and Libby meet on the beach after Rhett (Mr. Hot Lifeguard) saves Libby’s life.
The connection from Rhett is instant and he feels drawn to Libby but bless her she has her own trust issues.
I loved the character, the storyline was different but highly enjoyable. Ms Goodin’s Series of Calender Boys has proved a hit with myself and I look forward to each new release.
Would highly recommend Mr November!!

He saves her from drowning but when they meet a second time a flame starts. What will happen? Will she ever learn to trust? Will they become a couple? Will her secret come to ruin everything? This was a good read. Libby has a broken heart and trying to get on with her life. She meets Rhett when he saves her from drowning. They end up meeting again but this time it becomes more. The problem is that Libby makes it difficult because she has a hard time trusting. Thankfully in the end she finally comes to her senses and they get their happy ending.
A really good romance.

Here is a great well-written story of a man who will not take no as an answer and willing to work things out. The characters in this book have depth and a pasts that they must work through to make an HEA for their present and future. Are they willing and is it worth it. Great read

One riptide later and she is his to protect
Mr. November is Rhett Jensen. He is the sexy head lifeguard of Howard Beach who literally saves Libby Reed from drowning in a riptide. She is new in town, has a job at the library and is trying to keep to herself as the least attention the better. Rhett is drawn to Libby after the rescue as he can tell there is something else wrong and he wants to protect her. It seems Libby has been running from something and is always living in fear of being found. Will the rescue make Libby run again or will Rhett be able to keep her safe and protected?
This is another wonderfully written fun and interesting story in the Calendar Boys series. The characters of Rhett and Libby, along with the supporting characters, were nicely developed in this fast-paced story.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is the first book I have read from Nicole Goodin, and I was not disappointed. Mr. November is a great romance with a twist that you don’t see coming.
Rhett, is a lifeguard, who has thrown himself into his work to get over a heart break. Libby, caught by a rip tide is saved from drowning. As their attraction grows, Rhett can tell Libby was hiding something.
This story will have your emotions on a roller coaster that twist and turns till you find the happy ending

Rhett is a life guard and he saves Libby when she almost drowns in the water. Libby is a mysterious woman to Rhett and he is drawn to her. She disappears after he saves her and he doesn’t see her again until their friends fix them up. Sparks fly between them and Libby gives in and lets herself enjoy being with Rhett. Things start to get serious between them and Libby knows that she has no choice but to tell Rhett her secret. Not long after she does her past comes flooding into her present like a tidal wave. Can they make it through it together? Will Rhett want to be with her after learning her secret?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Love Mr. November, Rhett, a lifeguard who saves Libby one day. Rhett and Libby both don’t like talking about their pasts, but when destiny calls they can’t deny what they feel for each other. There some drama, love and a HEA.

This was the cutest book that I have ever read. I love Rhett and Libby’s relationship & how natural it felt. I do feel that there was more to explore within Libby’s family and how they became the way so Powerful. I kind of wish that could have explored more with how Rhett became friends with cal and Ginny. Overall this was a really cute read.

Really enjoyed this book. She was always running. He stopped her from running away from life. She really deserved to have a life after all that she had been through. He was her future and she knew that because he showed her what she was missing.

The 11th installment of Goodin’s Calendar Boys series, this is the story of the humble hero, or Mr. November. The great thing about this series is that each of the books are complete standalone, and while all are great reads, you dont have to read them in any particular order.
I really enjoyed this book – it had a little bit of mystery and suspense, a cute love story with meetings that seem to point to a relationship that hints at fate, and a man who is strong yet supportive. I did appreciate how Rhett and Libby started as friends, and how Rhett really respected Libby’s boundaries and comfort level, not pushing her into a relationship when she wasn’t ready. While I do enjoy an alpha male, I also like reading about male characters who are a support to their female friends/love interests.
There were a couple of moments that I thought would come full circle, but didn’t. And for that, I gave this book 4 stars. However, I don’t think those moments detract a ton from the story, and don’t make the book less enjoyable. A quick and great read, I do recommend this book and the rest of this series.

his was a great book! Rhett and Libby were perfect for each other. Rhett the handsome lifeguard and Libby the quiet librarian made for a wonderful story. Rhett had to work to get past Libby’s walls. But once he did they were an amazing couple with sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed this book and now I have to go back and read the rest!
A Slow Burn About Patient Love! Rhett And Libby’s Story Is A Sweet And Sometimes Funny Easy Read Blending Suspense And Romance.
Rhett Jensen, roughly thirty, has spent most of his life near the waters of Howard Beach. He grew up in the area and worked his way up from junior lifeguard – during which time he competed and won numerous lifeguard trophies – up to head lifeguard, his job of five years. His best friend and former roommate Calum endlessly harasses him with Baywatch jokes. Ever the humble hero, Rhett prefers to remind people that with every save, he is just doing his job.
When Rhett pulls off a miracle and saves a beautiful young woman from a powerful rip just in time, he feels drawn to her in a way that he shouldn’t when he is on the job. When she refuses medical assistance and freaks out when a camera films her in the ambulance, he knows something is scaring her, but is powerless to help because she doesn’t want to talk about it.
Libby Reed, twenty-two, is new to town. She has a job at the library which she enjoys well-enough; she is a voracious reader so it works out well. She would rather forget about her humiliating near-drowning experience, so she has avoided returning to the beach. The acute panic about her picture going out on live television and the internet calmed since she scoured the net for a week and found nothing. The chronic fear remains, of course.
Ginny, her landlord and brand new neighbor, has a rather strong personality and has decided they will be good friends. Libby shies away from relationships – she never stays long in any one place too long so there isn’t a point to it – but Ginny is very likable and impossible to stay no to.
When both Libby and Rhett show up for dinner their friends’ house, Calum and Ginny, they are shocked to see one another again. Although Libby makes excuses to leave early, the intense chemistry between her and Rhett doesn’t escape Ginny’s careful observation. Despite Libby’s best attempts to remain unentangled, she can’t hold out forever with Ginny’s efforts to see her and Rhett find happiness.
Rhett and Libby’s story is a slow burn about patient love. From the start, Rhett is steadfast in his commitment to Libby. He senses her flightiness and her fear, but has no clue how to help her. His decision to give her the time and space she needs to be comfortable around him allows Libby the peace of mind to finally open up to someone after years of living on the run. It is great to see the couple receive a well-deserved HEA!
Rhett and Libby’s story is a sweet and sometimes funny easy read blending suspense and romance. The POV alternates between Rhett and Libby. It is nicely written. There is conflicting information about Libby’s age, but twenty-two fits the timeline. Rhett’s age is very vaguely and indirectly implied. The plot is somewhat simple but the suspense is maintained as the story unfolds. The characters are decently developed given the length. Rhett is very likable; it would have been great to know more about Libby’s personality, but it is understandable given the length and the buildup of suspense that she remains more of a mystery. Callum and Ginny steal the show with their winning personalities. I rate this book four stars.
