Katya is a girl with secrets. If she had been at Brown when that scandal went down with the Misters, they’d have included her in all those news broadcasts and nicknamed her La Femme Nikita. Is she a Russian spy? A liar? Or just a lost girl who fell in love with the wrong man?Meeting Oliver Shrike, AKA Mr. Match, four years ago changed everything in her mind. Who knew fate would intervene just … knew fate would intervene just when all hope was lost?
But she should’ve known better. She should’ve known that happiness was never part of her future. And now Oliver’s billion-dollar dating site is the next target. The final piece of the puzzle in the Mister end game and she’s right in the middle of it.
But maybe… just maybe… she can do something about this?

Is it a coincidence that Mr Match/Oliver Shrike’s old flame Katya is back in town, or is there more to it? And as we race towards the gripping conclusion of the amazing Mister Series there’s so much excitement as past secrets, lies, and finally the truth is revealed!
The 5th and final book in The Mister series, the first 4 books can be read in any order, but this one must be read last, as this is the final ace in the deck that completes the hand, and boy what a series we were dealt with this!!
This is Oliver and Katya’s story. Oliver Shrike aka Mr Match runs an online dating service (supposedly) with his sister Ariel based in his hometown, surrounded by his family and friends. 4 yrs ago he had a 2 month ‘thing’ with Katya Kalashova, who was 17 at the time – sweet, innocent, but dirty and scarred. She left him and promised to return. He thought she’d be back for holidays at the least, thought about her all the time, before a few months turned into 4 yrs and now she’s back, just as everything is going on with the rest of the Misters!
It’s taken the 4 previous books, each with a different Mister and his ‘ghost’ for us to reach book 5, Mr Match, where all the previous snippet and titbits of information and clues start to build the final picture. Genius!! I don’t know another author with the talent of Julie Huss – to be able to put together such a complicated web of storylines and subplots and pull them all together in this one firecracker of a finale.
Oliver Shrike is a stud-muffin!! Hot, sexy, controlling, tattooed, biker, poet, sweet and caring. But with the things that have happened in his life there is nothing he would rather do than have his own family and ‘put down roots’ – Katya is his one, his love, his everything – she is more to him than his poem. He is willing to forget the past and move on, to start afresh.
Katya Kalashova was born into the Russian mafia, the eldest of two daughters, and has lived through some horrific things in her short life, and has the scars to prove it. But she will do anything to keep her younger sister safe, even if that involves making the wrong choices.
Secrets, secrets, secrets!!! Lots of things get revealed – what happened that fateful night when the Misters were accused of rape – who set them up – who and what are the Silver Society – and how is everything connected?
This has been a fabulous series, one of my top reads of 2016. I have loved each and every one of the Misters, each of them so individual, each with their own story. But Mr Match tops them all for me, Oliver was just the bees knees – I wouldn’t mind having his little Shrikelets!!
Brilliantly written, with the twists and turns popping up everywhere, it left me breathless and eagerly turning the pages to keep up with the thick and fast plot lines. I can’t recommend this series enough, it has everything – mystery, romance, secrets, suspense, murder, thrills and sex galore, you just can’t go wrong!
I’m sorry to see the end of this series, it was that good, but look forward to the next genius book series from JA Huss, The Turning Series – omg I can’t wait!!!!!
A lot of things happened, I’m so glad I read them in author’s recommended order. Now onto FIVE! I’ve so been waiting to read that one for awhile.
Whoa what a wild ride! This whole series blew my mind. I always think it’s going to go one way, then it doesn’t. I am so glad I binged this whole series this week. I loved reading one right after another
Well, the final book in the series and it definitely blew my mind! I was left speechless with all the twist, turns and questions finally answered….definitely didn’t see that coming! All I have to say is that J.A. Huss definitely did not disappoint with this series! Thank you for an amazing series!
The tangled web surrounding the Misters seems to become more complicated as more answers are revealed. The body count is mounting. The Silver Society, long hinted at, is now out in the open. Pax’s mother, Mariel, has an agenda and seems to be pullig a lot of strings. The suspense factor is really amped up this time with lots of new players as well as old ones added to the roster. The lead up to the climax is heart pounding and an adrenaline pumping edge of your seat suspenseful.
Katya Kalashova and Oliver “Match” Shrike discovered each other, fell in love and then were parted for four years. Now she’s back for good but playing all sides against the middle trying to protect herself, her sister and tbe man she loves. Meanwhile all the Misters’ woman have decided to become players in order to protect gheir men. Mariel Hawthorne is still a major player in more ways than you can imagine.
The climactic ending gives us the answers to the questions. All the bad guys are revealed and dealt with. And while they will always be the infamous five Misters maybe now they can just live their lives, love their women ans luve happily ever after.
Helllllooooo!!!! What an amazing way to end the series! Not that there was ever any doubts!
I couldn’t put it down. Thanks JA for this amazing series! Now to go back and read them all again!!
“And Boom Goes The Dynamite” as one of my other fav’s would say.
I was traveling for the holidays so I’m a little late with my review, but the Mister series is one of the best reads of 2016.
Julie Huss can weave a story like no other. There’s mystery and intrigue, sizzle and steam, action and suspense…it’s like the perfect storm. Mr Match is a fitting end to the Mister series. I love the way old favorites pop up in the story line, I love the way she forces you to use your imagination for some things because every question may not be fully answered and I love the way she never fails to entertain me, it’s pure joy! If you don’t know J.A. Huss, 2017 should be your year to meet her!
Thanks Julie…bring on Five!
