This book was sweet, sexy, fun read.
…Andy has one thing on his mind, winning back his wife.
Love the main characters, their banter, their chemistry, even the tension between them. The secondary characters are fun, adding to the witty banter.
Andrew Woodman, Andy to me because I am now a friend. He will make you fall in love with him just like Dylan did. He is handsome, charming, and loves his wife with everything h e has, He is also a little reckless which is why he spent 3 years in prison for something he didn’t do. He lost everything; his freedom and his wife. Dylan is full of fire. She had me when she comes to his work place full of shouting and full of anger. Dylan wants a divorce, She has been after one for the 3 years he was away. Andy wants his wife back. He asks for a week to make her fall in love with him again. It’s a week Dylan dreads because she has secrets. One is that she never stopped the loving him. The other could end them. Read all about their week and see how it all ends.

After three years in prison, Andy is free to resume his life, and to pursue his woman, Dylan. Dylan, heart broke and done with him, trying to move on, wants nothing to do with reconciliation. Well written, developed characters, Angsty and troubled, theirs is a bumpy road to an hea. I liked this book, and look forward to reading more. Secondary characters are interesting too. Recommended.
Andy (Andrew) Woodman is out of prison and running his business, knowing that he has to face his ex (current) wife soon. He wants to face her on his terms, though. So he isn’t exactly prepared for her to storm into his office demanding the one thing he refuses to give her – signed divorced papers. Can this tattooed ex con get his angry wife back? Convince her of his innocence? All he knows is that he WILL get her back. He’ll fight DIRTY if he must.
Dylan has gone through a hell of a lot since her ex went to prison. There are things she went through that he has no idea of. Thank God for her amazing best friend and rock, Sara, she’s had Dylan’s back the whole time. All Dylan wants now that Andy’s back is his signature on their divorce papers. Then she can truly get on with her life and leave him in the dust where he belongs. If only her stupid body didn’t still react to him. If only he weren’t hotter now than he was before he went to prison. If only her heart didn’t still love him…
So what’s a desperate wife to do when her ex tells her he’ll sign their divorce papers on one condition and the condition is that she give him a week to make her fall back in love with him? She knows she wants him gone, so of course she takes him up on his one condition. Things will be fine, right? He can’t make her fall back in love with him in a week, can he?
Dylan and Andy’s story is such a great second chance romance. Their chemistry is seriously hot, and I loved reading how they fought their way back to each other. And now I can’t wait to read Mr. February: A One Night Stand Romance!
Oh lord I love the month January because I get to have a hot bad boy mechanic who loves to cook and is willing to put himself out there for his wife. I really loved this book because it had me on the edge of my seat reading and ignoring everything because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

But when Andy gets out he begs Dylan for a chance to prove himself to her and she agrees. She has given him 7 days to prove himself to her and holy hell those seven days are amazing! Andy pulls out everything he knows how to and does things that are so damn swoon worthy he would have had me on day one.
Andy is ready to tell Dylan the truth about the crime he went to jail for and when the secrets and lies are revealed Dylan will have to face the truth about what really happened. This is a must read second chance romance that will have you on the edge of your seat needing to read fast enough to find out what happens next.

Hot, steamy read with some funny moments, some aww moments and a few tears.
Nicole Goodin brings us a sweet and swoony second chance romance with Mr. January in her brand new series, Calendar Boys. This is the perfect book for when you’re looking for a quick and easy read with a tattooed bad boy and a sassy heroine that brings you the feels with an HEA included.
Andy has just finished serving a 3 year prison sentence for a crime he didn’t commit, when his wife, Dylan, serves him divorce papers. Andy won’t sign the papers because he is still deeply in love with her and is willing to prove his worth and his innocence. He strikes a deal with Dylan giving him one week to make her fall in love with him again, and if she doesn’t, then he signs the papers and walks away from her for good.
Both characters have heaps of chemistry and the steam between the two rolls off the pages. The only negative I have about it is that there wasn’t any sex scenes! It was implied that they got down and dirty between the sheets, but it was more of a curtain closed, fade to black type of sex where we know it happens, we just don’t see it.
Mr. January was a good start to the series and a book will be released each month to give us a new man to drool over.
Andy’s just got out of jail and he hoped to see her soon, but Dylan makes it easy for him showing up right where he is. She wants the same thing she has for the last three years – a divorce that he hasn’t signed.
Dylan doesn’t want to admit but he gives her the same smirk that got to her years ago and he looks incredible, better since he’s out of prison. He refuses to sign the papers, being a thief was more important and she has to tell herself not to be weakened by him. Andy reminds her she never asked if he did it, but she can’t hear it from him.
Surprised that Dylan turned up and new exactly when he was out, yet wants nothing to do with him, his friend tell him, he got her once and has to figure out how to do it again, that simple.
Dylan is feisty and stubborn, and she tells him everything has changed, Andy shows her it hasn’t kissing her, but she leaves saying she can’t do it, leaving.
Dylan wants the divorce papers signed but he wants a week to make her fall in love with him, the only problem, he doesn’t know she never fell out of love with him.
Andy can’t believe that Dylan agreed to give him seven days, she has terms, but he knows he can win back her trust and love. One thing Dylan knows is Andy’s never lied to her, she knows he will wear her down, but she’s worried that she has something to tell him, that could change everything, it only took twenty-four hours the first time, but they both know the week is going to be a bumpy ride.
An Absolutely Fantastic Second Chance Romance! The storyline is flawless, very interesting, and emotionally deep. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace, is funny, witty, exciting, and there is a mix of emotion on every page. The characters – Andy and Dylan – you will love; and your heart will break for the pain they had to endure. The chemistry between them is undeniable, powerful, and intense. The end is really beautiful. Definitely recommended!

This is the first book in a new series, and what a wonderful introduction this is! Andy had just been released from prison after serving 3 years, and the first thing he wants is his wife. Dylan just wants a divorce, and Andy wants to stay married, so he convinces her to make a deal with him. This is a beautifully written story, which is humorous, entertaining, emotional, heart-warming, gritty, intense, and a fantastic second chance romance story. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
Mr. January by Nicole S. Goodin is the first book in a new series, Calendar Boys, and is a second chance romance. Andrew Woodman loves his wife, Dylan Davies. He is just out of prison and determined to win her back. Even if she wants to have nothing to do with him. She wants to divorce him and move on. But can she deny the chemistry that is still there?
Drew wants Dylan to give him a chance to win her back. Reluctantly, she agrees to give him seven days to win her back. As they begin their second chance, Drew really steps up to win her back. He was so determined, and you could not help but love him for it. Dylan was feisty and strong and thought she wanted to move on.

Read and reviewed for Reviews From The Heart.
Happy reading!
Mr January is one hot as hell bad boy and romantic ex-jailbird!
Even knowing Andy was a crim, my heart broke for him. Life inside had stagnated for him, while his wife had continued living and tried to move on ‘without him’. I was only 13% into the book and already so invested in Andy’s feelings. What I didn’t realise until later on, was that Dylan had her own struggles to deal with in his absence, and despite being an independent and professional woman in her right, things were extremely difficult for her. I just cried.
The feelings that Nicole Goodin writes into her characters just radiate from the pages. I felt Andy’s vulnerability even as he hid it under his cocky attitude, and, also Dylan’s frustration at the choices her husband seemed to have made. If you haven’t picked up from my words so far, I’m team Andy all the way! He is everything that makes a perfect book boyfriend in my opinion: gorgeous, built, muscular and tattooed bad boy mechanic, who has picked up cooking skills in the clink because his wife always wanted a man who could cook. I also loved his best friend, Jeff, who tried to be there for Dylan, until she cut him out of her life as surely as she had cut Andy out.
Dylan’s BFF, Sarah, is as funny as a fight, and as loyal a friend as anyone could wish for. She’s been there for Dylan during Andy’s incarceration, and is all about Dylan staying strong and moving on without her ex-crim soon-to-be ex-husband, UNTIL she sees the aforementioned man and agrees that Andy has indeed come out of prison hotter than before, and, is even more romantic. Suddenly, she’s firmly perched upon the fence!
As I moved through the story, there were continual hints that all is not as it seemed, and I was truly hooked. Andy insists that he never lied to Dylan, and that of all things, she never asked if he actually did what he had been locked up for! Summer weather be damned, I had to finish this book, and I sat on my ar$e and read, while my family carried on around me. The thread of suspense reeled me in.
Mr. January is one hell of a great start to this Calendar Boys series. I wonder how it is that Ms Goodin can put tension and humour together in one sentence, thus is her gift of writing that seems to unfurl with each book that is released. I was however, surprised that the plot seemed to wrap up very conveniently and quickly at the end. It might have been an aside to the main story of the relationship between Andy and Dylan, but, it was still at the very heart of where and why their story went wrong in the first place.
4.5 Stars from me, and a recommendation to you to pick up this book and begin the series.
Andy spend 3 years in prison for a crime he says he didn’t commit. Dylan is the wife he left behind. She was completely in love until he became a criminal. She wants a divorce and he wants to keep her. Can he convince her to believe in him again?
This story was heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how horrible it must have been for Dylan to watch the love of her life being hauled to jail.
Mr. January is a fun read. The banter between Andy and Dylan makes you laugh. Loved that the characters had to learn about themselves and each other in order to figure out if they could make a new life together. Enjoyed reading this sexy second chance romance and looking forward to the rest of the series.
Andy is out of prison and the only thing on his mind is getting back to Dylan. When the truth comes to light will they forgive, can they find solace in each other. This is a heart warming story that will have you in Andy’s corner cheering him on. He and Dylan a great together and is a story well worth reading.

Enjoyable. Liked how he was honest with her about everything. He really loved her and had to show it. She really didn’t believe him until she almost lost him again. Life, love, loss and rebirth. Wonderful thing when you can come from your lowest back to your highest.
