This book teaches children how to stand up to bullying, develop resilience, and set high goals for themselves. While all children will enjoy the colorful illustrations and story, I would especially recommend it for children in the six to ten age range who are beginning to experience peer pressure.
Very well done! At first, I must admit that I could not see where this story was going, but it turned out to be a great inspirational piece about how important it is to believe in yourself. Perfect for anyone, anywhere, at any age.
This great book in believing in yourself is sure to bring a smile to your child’s face. It has all the great stuff, including dinosaurs . This is a great storybook that deals with bullying in a down to earth way. The illustrations are superb.
Mr. Hoopeyloops is making art pieces out of glass and needs a helper. Rex wanted to do the job but he was clumsy. He was a medium sized not with big feet. Kids at school called him T-Rex, large feet little arms. (Very mean, huh.). When he told people what he wanted to do, they laughed at him. He went to where Mr. Hoopeyloops was working and peeked in the window. He heard a noise behind him. What was it? You get to read/listen to find out.
Grandson loves it
I got this for my granddaughter. I always read books myself before I read them to her. I am pretty sure she will enjoy this one.
I read this book to my 7 year old granddaughter. We both enjoyed it. Every awkward child needs a Mr. Hoopeyloops in their life.
