A hunky mechanic and my brother’s best friend? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. TerriI’ve known Joe all my life. He’s my brother’s best friend. But we’ve never crossed that line. Until I moved back to town, right next door to him. He’s a man now. Completely off-limits.He’s the local mechanic with a charming smile and strong, experienced hands. But I can’t hook up with the bad boy next door … experienced hands.
But I can’t hook up with the bad boy next door when my overprotective brother is around.
Or can I?
Joe
The woman I’ve never been able to get out of my head is back in my life, and everything is different.
She’s out of college. Heartbroken. And pregnant.
But I can’t take my eyes off her.
She’s smart, sweet and stunning, with curves at all the right places.
I don’t care if she’s about to be a mom – I’ve always wanted to be a dad.
I don’t care if she’s my best friend’s little sis.
I just want to put my big hands all over her sweet body, and show her just how filthy I can really get.
She’s maybe not my first.
But I want her to be my last.
** Mr. Fixit Next Door is a sexy and fun next-door romance story. It is the third book in the Temptation Next Door series, but it can also be read as a stand-alone. No cheating or cliffhangers. HEA guaranteed!

First, I did not like Chris and I did not like Terri’s parents. I’ll admit I was a little confused in places because it seemed their attitudes changed from the beginning to the middle. I like her brother Max well enough. I like Joe. He was a good character with loyal and loving characteristics. Terri was also likeable.

4 1/2 Stars!
Falling for his best friend’s pregnant younger sister was an unexpected surprise for all around nice guy Joe.
I liked that Terri let Joe know from the onset that she was pregnant. Her pleas to her baby daddy and high school sweetheart went unanswered as she returned to her hometown and her family.
Joe’s non judgemental acceptance had Terri opening up to him as their relationship blossomed despite her pregnancy with another man.
Fighting for her independence in her vulnerable condition took a lot of strength, especially when her disappointed father told her to give up the baby.
I often wonder about parents who insist on ways for their children to deal with unexpected or unwanted pregnancies. Her Parent’s reaction was quite a disappointment, it was their grandchild for heavens sake!
I loved the way Joe cared for her and his openness with her brother Max.
A bit of drama with her ex coming back to reconcile which gave this sweet romance a bit of closure.

She had a crush on him, he did not think of her like that until she kissed him on his high school graduation. She comes home after her first year of college pregnant and alone. He helps her move in, she calls him to fix things in her apartment, she needs him to fix her broken dreams. Her brother warns him off but he perseveres and give her and her baby their HEA. Nice read.

This story is about Joe and Terri. Nicole outdoes herself again – her books grab you at the beginning by making you laugh. This book starts off with a couple of friends moving a sister over to her new place and one of them throwing a box labeled “fragile” to the other and Joe hears something rattle inside. Max is Joe’s best friend and Max asked Joe to help him move his baby sister into her new apartment which is next door to Joe. Joe remembers Terri as chatting cathy and with so much life, but when she gets out of her car, he is basically drooling that his best friend warns him to stop. Terri dropped out of college as her boyfriend didn’t want to help her as she is now pregnant, and her parents are no help too. What I loved about this book is that Joe doesn’t care that she is pregnant but that she stood up to her parents and decided to start this life alone, but the ex comes back into the picture and Joe steps aside. It gets good at the end and I love the twist that Nicole added to the story. I just hope Max gets his own story.

This was a nice book, extremely fast paced where everything happened in only a few months time. It was almost too rushed for me. I was not able to grow an attachment to the characters. They spent more time apart than they did forming a bond together. I did like the story concept. The description to detail was okay.
Written as a 1st person, multi pov with a HEA.
All in all, a nice read.

Cute and simple
3.5
This short story keeps its promises: it tells a simple and cute romance, but the few twists it contains are strong in emotions and have maintained my attention. I really liked Joe’s character.
Joe is seduced by the sister of his best friend, Terry, who returns after she has dropped out of school. He discovers she is pregnant, abandoned by her former boyfriend she had since high school. They get closer, but one morning the father of the child is back.

Joe and Terri are an intriguing pair that will have you in their corner as they journey towards finding their way to happily. Terri finds herself having to drop out of college much to the dismay of her family. Through it all, Joe has had her back. This touching story about the effects of pregnancy on family and friends is endearing and captivates until the last page.

So I’m going to be frank…all but 3 characters in this story are horrible people and 1 of the 3 not horrible is kind of needy. The story was incredibly written, it was very vivid, but when only 1 character is someone’s that you would root for it’s impossible to have any emotional investment.

Her high school crush is her brother’s best friend and it’s been years since she saw him. But she’s hiding a secret from Joe that she’s scared to reveal but her secret won’t chase him off because he thinks is to treasure even when there is a hiccup of Terri’s past.
This book was absolutely wonderful. The storyline was spot on and was well executed. The family dynamics was pretty crazy and the love shared between the characters were strong. The ending was so sweet and heartwarming.

This is the third book in this series and I personally think it is the best so far A short quick read that draws you in and keeps you engaged to the last page
This is the story of Joe and Terri. He is her brothers best friend and as always been her life He remembers her as that pest that followed him around but he remembered she was always full of fire. As he helps her move into her new flat he has to wonder where all that fire has gone she seems almost broken Then he finds out she is pregnant and that her boyfriend ditched her the moment she told him the news. Only problem is he is falling for her and he wants her and her baby Will the ex and her brother cause problems or will these two get a HEA
Sweet storyline loved how these characters were portrayed as genuine. Terri and Joe had such a cute awkward silences, you couldn’t help but being charmed by these characters. Loved how everything came out to blow in the end, this is typical for this family.

This is book three in the Temptation Next Door series. Meet Joe, he is Max’s best friend for years and right after high school he opened his own garage. He is a mechanic but also the neighborhood ‘fix-it’ guy. Max contacts Joe needing an apartment for immediate possession, he finds one but has no idea it is for his sister, Terri. Teri is moving back home after her first year of college, she is pregnant and her now ex boyfriend, Chris, wants nothing to do with her. Joe and Max get Terri moved into the apartment and the sizzle begins. Can Joe get Max’s permission to date his sister? Does Chris change his mind? Can Joe and Terri find a HEA? It is a entertaining read to find out!

What do you do when there is an unplanned pregnancy and the baby daddy wants nothing to do with you or the child. For Terri the decision is simple and she plans to move forward, she just didn’t know that her high school crush was going to be around and willing to help fix all the issues in her apartment. All Joe remembers of his best friends little sister was she was loud and around when boys wanted to be boys, but the quiet woman that moves in next door is anything but and he is there to help in whatever capacity she needs. This was a quick read, with a HEA. I really like the characters, the parents not so much, but dont we say you can pick your friends but not your family.

3.5 stars. Despite precautions, Terri quits college and comes home to have her baby. Her brother Max helps her move along with his best friend Joe. Joe, a mechanic, started his own garage right after high school and is doing well he was also Terri’s Crush growing up. He is quite smitten with her too. He even tells her overprotective brother he likes her and would like more. Max is not crazy about it buyer he knows Joe is a good, responsible guy. So what’s going to when the ex boyfriend shows up apologising for his bailing when she tells him she’s pregnant? It’s a short, steamy love story.

This story was so beautifully written! I completely fell in love with Joe – What a total sweetie & gorgeous to boot!
Joe is the best friend of Terri’s brother. Terri gets herself into a “situation” & has to move back to her hometown. Joe is helping her brother move her into an apartment block next to his. Fireworks of course explode all over the place between the two of them which leads the reader to a very touching HEA.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone – It’s got everything in it that a reader craves!
Well done Nicole. I look forward to more from you in the future!
